Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

”There we go.”

Once the healing ointment had completely dried and started to merge with the wound on the Flash Gold Sparrow’s wing, Su Zhi breathed a sigh of relief. He carefully placed her back on the ground.

A general-purpose healing ointment wasn’t as effective as one with a specific Attribute, but it was more than enough to deal with an injury of this severity.

In seven or eight hours at the latest, this Flash Gold Sparrow would be able to fly again.

”Chirp chirp...”

The moment the Flash Gold Sparrow touched the ground, she immediately hopped toward Su Zhi. Su Zhi smiled gently and held out his right index finger to the sparrow, and the little one affectionately nuzzled it with her head.

This was the Flash Gold Sparrow’s body language for expressing gratitude.

”Hah... hah...” Yu Bao wagged his tail eagerly.

So, the Flash Gold Sparrow hopped over to Yu Bao and nuzzled her fluffy head against his chest.

”Chirp~”

Thank you~

”Haaah~~~” Yu Bao squinted his eyes, a look of blissful enjoyment on his face, his heart practically melting.

”Act normal.”

Su Zhi gave Yu Bao a flick on the head, then looked at the Flash Gold Sparrow curiously. ”This is a Death Secret Realm. There shouldn’t be any Pet Beasts here. How did you show up?”

”Chirp.” The Flash Gold Sparrow looked up at the sky in a daze.

She was also Bujidao.

She was just flying and flying, and suddenly her head felt dizzy, and then she was inside.

There were a lot of Gold Element resources here, which she liked. She was so focused on absorbing the resources that she didn’t stop to think about how she got in... until she happened to run into them.

’So carefree...’ Su Zhi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as he facepalmed.

Yu Bao also wagged his tail thoughtfully.

’This little bird doesn’t seem too bright. She should be easy to fool.’

”You call this a coincidence? You’ve been following us for a long time, haven’t you? If I’m not mistaken, you were already tailing us before we fought those people.” ”Woof.”

”Chirp?!”

Hearing Yu Bao’s translation, the Flash Gold Sparrow’s beak dropped open in surprise.

*You guys found out that early?!*

Yu Bao gave a crooked smile and pushed up the sunglasses he had put on at some point.

’This little Shimmering Free-Range Chicken wants to compete with me, the Wise One Yu Bao? She’s still a bit green.’

”Chirp.” ”Woof.”

The Flash Gold Sparrow lowered her head and admitted that she had indeed started following them back then. But then she happened upon the battle and was too scared to show herself.

Su Zhi asked curiously, ”Then why were you following us?”

”Chirp...” ”Woof.”

The Flash Gold Sparrow looked at Yu Bao.

*Her mother told her that forming a contract with a human Beast Tamer would allow her to grow faster with the boost from their Beast Taming Space, and it would also be easier to evolve and break through.*

*So! In order to find a Beast Tamer she liked—she set out on her own! No, as a lone bird!*

*But reality wasn’t as wonderful as she had imagined.*

*She had seen many Beast Tamers and Pet Beasts. Most Beast Tamers were cold toward their Pet Beasts; at best, they were bossy and demanding.*

*The Pet Beasts had to train arduously and even face many dangerous battles.*

*Weak or heavily injured Pet Beasts would have their contracts terminated and be thrown away like trash.*

*So she got scared.*

*She was just a noob. Even if someone did form a contract with her, they would just discard her sooner or later.*

*Until today, when she saw Su Zhi and Yu Bao—Su Zhi would lovingly stroke Yu Bao, and they fought side-by-side in battle.*

*Their relationship didn’t feel like a superior and subordinate, but more like family.*

Su Zhi finished her thought for her: ”So you want to form a contract with me, too?”

The Flash Gold Sparrow nodded vigorously.

Then, she took two steps back and flapped her right wing.

Immediately after, a leaf vanished in a flash of Golden Light.

”Chirp!”

*This is my Racial Skill—Flash Gold Flash Space. I can store a certain amount of objects in an Alternate Space and take them out when I need them!*

*Flash Gold Teleportation is essentially an extension of this Skill!*

”Woof?” Yu Bao wagged his tail curiously, conjuring a Furious Sand Blade.

*Can you store this?*

”Chirp!” The Flash Gold Sparrow puffed out her chest.

The next moment, the Furious Sand Blade dissolved into shimmering Golden Light and vanished, without a single grain of sand left behind.

Then, the Flash Gold Sparrow gently flapped her wing, and a flash of light appeared out of thin air not far away.

The Furious Sand Blade suddenly reappeared, turning into a blurry shadow as it flew into the distance and vanished from sight.

Little stars appeared in Yu Bao’s eyes.

*Waku waku!*

”Chirp! Chirp!”

The Flash Gold Sparrow then demonstrated another one of her Racial Skills: Golden Feather Flying Blade.

Under her control, a number of Metal Feathers shot out from her body, THUD THUD THUD-ing into the bark of a tree.

The destructive power was not to be underestimated!

Yu Bao’s... clone definitely wouldn’t be able to withstand such a ferocious attack!

After her demonstration, the Flash Gold Sparrow stood primly in front of Su Zhi and looked at him nervously.

Su Zhi was struck speechless for a moment, then chuckled. The little one was trying to show him her worth.

Although her Golden Feather Storm was a bit of a letdown, he had to admit that the Flash Gold Sparrow’s Flash Gold Teleportation and Flash Gold Flash Space were both incredibly powerful Support Type Skills.

After all, Space Element Pet Beasts were relatively rare, and most tactics and strategies weren’t designed to counter them.

”Hah!”

While Su Zhi was pondering, Yu Bao zipped in front of him, his eyes sparkling.

’A cute little sister who chirps! Isn’t this his ideal second Pet Beast?’

’Hurry up and form a contract with her! Please? Pretty please!’

The Flash Gold Sparrow tilted her head, Bujidao why Yu Bao was so excited... But it seemed he had a good impression of her, so her eyes also lit up with anticipation.

”Bao, you’ve got issues...” Su Zhi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as he picked Yu Bao up and moved him aside. He then turned back to the Flash Gold Sparrow waiting in front of him.

”There are two unfortunate things I have to tell you.

”First, my Beast Taming Space is only Tier Two, so I can only have a contract with one Pet Beast. That means I can’t form a contract with you for now.”
