People were already starting to jump from the helicopter.

First one person jumped, followed closely by a second, a third, and a fourth.

But another figure had also taken flight mid-air.

It was a Wind Mutated Zombie. The moment the four people’s parachutes opened, it shot toward them!

Seeing the scene unfold right before her, Nina Jacobs swiftly formed a Diamond Sand Cover in mid-air.

BANG!

The Wind Zombie, likely not expecting an obstacle in the air, crashed right into it!

ROAR!!

Enraged that its prey had escaped, it charged straight for Nina Jacobs!

Wind Blades rained down from the sky, only to be swiftly blocked by the Diamond Shield.

Just then, the Wind Dragon Vortex, which seemed to devour everything in its path, reached the three of them!

Seeing the Wind Dragon Vortex sweep up and shred the surrounding zombies, Holly Morgan conjured deep purple thorns, trying to drag the Wind Zombie down from the sky.

But she failed.

BANG!

The Wind Dragon Vortex slammed into a Diamond Sand Wall. However, because it was carrying so much debris, faint cracks began to appear on the wall.

However, Nina Jacobs had no intention of retreating.

”It won’t hold.”

Holly Morgan didn’t understand why Nina Jacobs wasn’t dodging.

Wayne Warner saw what was happening and moved in front of Nina Jacobs to protect her.

But in the next second, an orange-yellow light erupted from within the Wind Dragon Vortex.

BOOM!

A pillar of fire shot out from the top of the Wind Dragon Vortex’s center.

The flames pierced through the very center of the Wind Dragon Vortex, reaching for the sky.

”The Wind Dragon Vortex... turned into a Fire Dragon Roll?

Nina Jacobs is officially my idol!”

Han Lewis watched the scene outside the car in disbelief.

The gray Wind Dragon Vortex from before had completely transformed into an orange-yellow Fire Dragon Roll, and it was now rapidly sweeping toward the Wind Zombie!

’No wonder that Nina Jacobs girl didn’t dodge earlier.’

’She used the sand shield to hold it back, just so she could pierce the Wind Dragon Vortex with her Fire Element Superpower.’

Ethan Chase felt more and more that Nina Jacobs was no ordinary person.

’This level of endurance and power is something no ordinary person could possess. She’s destined for great things.’

SWOOSH!

Deep purple thorns wrapped around an Alloyed Zombie’s head, then violently slammed it into the ground.

Meanwhile, the reflection of the giant Fire Dragon Roll filled Holly Morgan’s eyes.

The Fire Dragon Roll was far more powerful than the Wind Dragon Vortex; anything it swept up was reduced to ash.

Nina Jacobs controlled the Fire Dragon Roll, sending it toward the Wind Zombie.

”Holly Morgan, hold it down!” Nina Jacobs shouted.

The moment her voice fell, deep purple thorns swept up from all around toward the Wind Zombie in mid-air.

The Wind Zombie dodged back and forth in the air a few times, but the instant it landed, Wayne Warner caught it with a kick!

As its body was sent flying from the kick, a thorn immediately wrapped around it.

The thorns flung the Wind Zombie into the Fire Dragon Roll!

BOOM!

A figure instantly ignited within the Fire Dragon Roll, turning to ash in the blink of an eye.

”Looks like... they saved us?”

The few people who had just scrambled up from the ground nearby were only now processing what had happened.

The battle had been utterly mesmerizing.

”People like that are definitely not simple. Let’s not reveal our identities for now.”

The woman said, dusting herself off.

”Understood.”

Seeing the four people walk toward them, Nina Jacobs watched with curiosity.

These four didn’t look like they were alone, especially the mature woman in the center. She had the aura of someone in a position of power.

”Thank you for your help just now. My name is... Audrey Lewis.”

the woman introduced herself.

”You’re welcome. You helped us earlier, too.”

Nina Jacobs introduced her three companions, then waved her hand, retracting the Diamond Sand Cover that had been shielding their vehicle.

”It’s dangerous around here. Are you heading somewhere?”

A man behind Audrey Lewis asked curiously.

’They only have three fighters, but every one of them is incredibly strong. Where on earth did they come from, and where are they going?’

”We’re... looking for a base.”

Nina Jacobs replied.

’With tensions escalating between Lornwood Base and Tomorrow Base right now, it’s better not to reveal too much about themselves.’

”Oh, I see.”

Hearing Nina Jacobs say this, Emmett Coleman glanced at Audrey Lewis. Seeing that she didn’t object, he spoke:

”We just came from Lornwood Base ourselves. If you’re thinking of going there, you might want to reconsider.”

”Why?”

Nina Jacobs asked with interest.

”That damn place... more people die there than survive. I heard the base commander ran off, leaving some useless general in charge.

If you go, they’ll just bleed you dry.”

When mentioning Lornwood Base, Audrey Lewis’s tone was filled with hatred.

Just then, a few more aircraft appeared in the distance.

Nina Jacobs noticed that behind the aircraft, three high-performance armored vehicles were following.

’It seems these people’s identities really are a mystery.’

”You saved us. I hear there’s another base around here, Tomorrow Base.

How about we escort you there?”

Audrey Lewis only glanced at the reinforcements behind her before turning back to ask Nina Jacobs.

”Have you been to Tomorrow Base?” Nina Jacobs asked, probing.

”No.”

Audrey Lewis thought Nina Jacobs was doubting her good intentions, but she could completely understand.

”We only came to Keldorn to find someone.

But the person we were looking for is already dead.”

As Audrey Lewis spoke, her eyes reddened.

”I often think that if someone had helped him like this when he was out there alone, maybe he wouldn’t have died.”

That was why she had taken the initiative to help them when she saw the lone little car on the ground from up in the air.

”My condolences.”

Nina Jacobs said after listening.

’This Audrey Lewis didn’t seem to be lying.’

”Audrey!”

By now, the other armored vehicles had pulled up and stopped.

Several young men and women ran out of the vehicles, looking worried.

”Are you guys hurt?”

One of them, a girl with her hair in a bun, asked nervously.

”We’re fine. These people saved us.”

Audrey Lewis then introduced Nina Jacobs and her group to them.

”Audrey, you can’t keep acting so recklessly.

Otherwise, how will I explain this to everyone when we get back!”

A man strode down from the helicopter.

After learning what had happened, he immediately thanked Nina Jacobs and her group.

”Tomorrow Base... We’d also like to check it out.

If you don’t mind, you could travel with us. My name is Lyra Thorne.”

the man said.

”Yeah, yeah! Don’t worry, we’re not bad people.

You saved Audrey. You’re great benefactors to both of our families!”

Gemma Lucas immediately added in a friendly tone.

”Alright, let’s go together.”

Nina Jacobs didn’t want to waste any more time on the matter.

However, they were still taken aback when they saw a wooden wheelchair descend from the car with no difficulty at all.

”This wheelchair is amazing!”

Gemma Lucas said in amazement, crouching beside the wheelchair.

”Haha, it’s nothing that special. I just added a few retractable frames using mortise and tenon joints.”

Ethan Chase had been worried that he would be seen as a burden, but these people didn’t seem to react strangely at all upon seeing his limited mobility.

”You’re amazing, Mister! Even the old high-tech stuff can’t compare to this.”

Gemma Lucas gave him a thumbs-up, her praise making Ethan Chase laugh heartily.

”There aren’t many of us, so you can join us in the three armored vehicles.

It’s too dangerous to use the helicopters any further from here.”

Lyra Thorne said to Nina Jacobs.

”Okay, no problem.”

Nina Jacobs agreed readily, and Lyra Thorne breathed a sigh of relief.

’He could tell that Audrey really liked these people. It would be good if they could keep her company and talk with her.’
