Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 419: Fire Dragon God Ignia, Who Got Laxus’s Script

Just after Ignia announced his participation...

Powerful magic power instantly erupted from his body. August felt this terrifying magic power and instantly retreated backward, while using a shield to protect all the non-participating Mages inside the Fairy Tail guild!

As for the people participating in Fairy Tail guildʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial this year, they were the same as in previous years...

They were still Kagura, Natsu, Gray, Lyon, Cana, Elfman, Lisanna, Gajeel, Freed, Seilah, Mystogan, and Wendy...

Commonly known as the Twelve Strongest of Fairy Tailʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial, the strongest permanent fixtures of Fairy Tailʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial! In one year, the strength of the Twelve Strongest had all grown enormously! Among them, Kagura had finally broken through the threshold of the Ten Wizard Saints, and her magic power had reached the Level Seven standard in Evanʼs system evaluation. Without a doubt, at this moment, whether in magic power or combat strength, Kagura had already reached the level of the Ten Wizard Saints...

As for the others, aside from Mystogan, the Edolas person who had no magic power inside his body, and Wendy, who was still young, Natsu, Gray, Lyon, Cana, Elfman, Lisanna, Gajeel, and Freed, these full eight people all had magic power above Level Six in Evanʼs system evaluation. In other words, right now, among the seed candidates participating in the S-Class trial inside the Fairy Tail guild, if any one of them were placed in the original workʼs Fairy Tail guild without Evan, they would all have the possibility of passing Fairy Tailʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial and becoming S-Class Mages...

As for Seilah, who had originally been one of Tartarosʼs Nine Demon Gates, after receiving Prechtʼs help and fusing with the Demon Seed, her strength was even more astonishing, to the point that she had faintly reached the level of the human limit, which was the Level Eight level in Evanʼs system evaluation. Adding Seilahʼs Curse that specialized against people, without a doubt, the current Seilahʼs strength had already reached a level above an ordinary Saint...

Yes, right now, the Fairy Tail guild had already begun to roll inward to the point that even the guildʼs S-Class Mage seeds had to possess Saint-level power...

However, even so, it would still be difficult for them to pass the guildʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial this year, because standing before them at this moment was Fire Dragon God Ignia, who possessed the power of a Dragon King! Son of the great Fire Dragon King Igneel...

”Fire Dragon Godʼs Crushing Fist!”

Ignia stood inside the guild. With a wave of his hand, endless flames burned forward! In an instant, they completely devoured those people competing with him for this yearʼs S-Class Mage status in the Fairy Tail guild!

However, this was not over yet! Igniaʼs fire was far too fierce. In just one exchange! All the lakes and pools in the entire Magnolia Town had their water completely evaporated and disappeared! Even the sea near the town was affected to a certain extent, and the blue seawater as a whole dropped by about five centimeters...

”What powerful flames!”

”Not good. Facing flames of this level, those children wonʼt get injured, right?”

The Mages watching inside the guild felt that enormous fire, and sweat instantly covered their foreheads. Unfortunately, the fire was far too fierce. They fundamentally could not approach it. Even the cold sweat that emerged from their bodies evaporated and disappeared in a short instant...

”No hurry!”

Just as the Mages were inwardly anxious, Gildarts seemed to see something, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

”Uh...”

The instant Gildarts spoke, the raging flames burning inside the Fairy Tail guild instantly vanished! As for the examinees who had originally stood before Ignia in dissatisfaction, they had disappeared! In their place were the examinees kneeling on the ground!

Yes, accompanied by those terrifying flames, the Mages participating in Fairy Tail guildʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial in X782, meaning this year, could no longer stand at this moment. Each of them had flushed faces, their hands wrapped around themselves as they knelt on the ground! At some unknown point, the clothes on their bodies had been burned completely away...

For a moment, the hungry wolves inside the Fairy Tail guild feasted their eyes! After all, among the examinees participating in this yearʼs trial, there were quite a few cute-looking girls...

”Hahaha...”

For a moment, the hungry wolves in the guild led by Gildarts let out lewd laughter.

”Thereʼs no way to fight like this...”

”If I stand up, I wonʼt be able to marry in the future...”

Lisanna sat kneeling on the ground with tears in her eyes. While clamping her legs together, she covered her front with both hands.

”Itʼs fine! You can definitely marry!”

”Marry me! Marry me!!”

The hungry wolves in the guild looked at the scene before them and all revealed wicked smiles.

”Ignia really is a great person~”

”Yeah~ Yeah~”

For a moment, Igniaʼs reputation in the guild greatly rose. He instantly upgraded from a punk to a great person, at least in the eyes of this group of hungry wolves in the guild.

”Donʼt stare at my little sister!”

Just as the hungry wolves were staring intently at Lisanna, accompanied by a roar, Mirajane, who had been standing on the guildʼs second floor, descended from the sky. Then she released waves of darkness shockwaves at the group of hungry wolves inside the guild.

”Big Sister, I also wonʼt be able to marry...”

Just as Mirajane displayed her divine might and protected her little sisterʼs innocence...

Accompanied by a hoarse voice, Elfman, who had trained his body to look like a lump of rock, lay on the ground, tugging at his older sister Mirajaneʼs pant leg and sobbing.

”No...”

”In your case, I think thereʼs absolutely no need to worry.”

Mirajane looked at Elfman beneath her, the corner of her eye twitching slightly. Then her eyes carried some disgust as she pulled her pant leg out of Elfmanʼs embrace.

Although Mirajane truly hoped Elfman could grow into a man covered in muscles, what Mirajane hoped was that Elfman could grow into someone like Evan, or if not, then at least like Gildarts or Laxus. She had not hoped for him to grow into a Shield Mountain!

On the other side...

”Damn it...”

Seilah wrapped both arms in front of herself and quietly sat on the ground, not daring to get up. Her figure was far too full, and once she got up, there was a risk of exposure.

”Seilah-chan, donʼt just sit on the ground~ The ground is cold, youʼll easily catch a chill~”

The hungry wolves in the guild stood beside Seilah one after another with evil faces and laughed wickedly.

”...”

Seilahʼs eyes carried tears as she glared angrily at the hungry wolves before her, but she did not know what to say.

”You bastards! Donʼt stare at Seilah!”

Just as Seilah was at a loss, accompanied by a clear voice, Cana, Seilahʼs master, came to the rescue.

”Hehe, Cana, your current outfit is also quite nice~”

When everyone heard Canaʼs voice, they turned their heads and looked. They saw that Cana had used magic cards to cover her private parts, then walked over carelessly. How should one put it? Canaʼs feeling of seeming exposed but not actually exposed produced even greater temptation toward the hungry wolves in the guild.

”Donʼt stare at my daughter!”

However, just as the hungry wolves in the guild stared at Cana and looked her up and down, a certain scumbag uncle suddenly erupted with enormous magic power. Like a demon crawling up from hell, he roared angrily at the hungry wolves in the guild.

”Uh, Gildarts...”

For a moment, the hungry wolves in the guild all trembled.

”Donʼt worry! We wonʼt stare at your daughter Cana anymore...”

At this time, one hungry wolf looked at Gildarts and revealed a friendly smile.

”Too late!”

Hearing this, Gildarts directly raised his right hand toward this group of hungry wolves before him.

”Boom!!”

The next second, accompanied by a roar, endless magic power swallowed up this group of hungry wolves!

Along with half the guild, they disappeared from Magnolia Town and freely flew into the sky...

”D-Damn it...”

Kaguraʼs legs were tightly clamped together, and her pretty face was dyed with a few traces of blush. Her right hand covered her fullness, preventing herself from being exposed, while her left hand still firmly held her steel sword.

”That sword of yours isnʼt simple!”

”Is that so? Was it made from dragon scales? No wonder it wasnʼt affected by my flames...”

”But this is as far as it goes! Now that I burned away your clothes, you have no way to attack me, right?”

Ignia smugly looked at the Mages inside the guild. He was very satisfied with his attack. He had neither injured these trash nor stopped them from attacking him. It could be called a great victory.

”You think Iʼll give up?”

Tears appeared in the corners of Kaguraʼs eyes. Who knew how long she had prepared for this S-Class Mage exam?!

”Is that so? Even though I destroyed your clothes and trampled your dignity, you still persist?”

”I admire and am happy about your spirit of never giving up!”

”But I advise you not to persist too much! After all, stepping over an ant without killing it is a power that is very difficult to grasp...”

Ignia did not expect Kagura still had no intention of giving up. This made him regard Kagura a little more highly.

”You think burning all our clothes clean can stop us?”

Just as Ignia and Kagura were talking, at the moment Ignia burned all the participating candidatesʼ clothes away, three figures with disdainful expressions walked toward Ignia.

”Ice-Make...”

Those three figures were none other than Gray, Lyon, and Natsu!!

”You think burning our clothes away can stop us?”

”No! It wonʼt...”

”On the contrary! The seal that has always restrained us has been removed by you!”

”Next, no one can stop us anymore!”

Gray and Lyon were completely naked. Waves of cold frost erupted from their bodies.

”Iʼm fired up!!”

Natsu had a scarf made from Igneelʼs dragon scales wrapped around his body. At this moment, that scarf was emitting a strange light within Igniaʼs flames! It was as though the power of Igneel that only remained inside the dragon scales had finally been replenished by Igniaʼs powerful magic power and had once again regained vitality!

Natsu should currently be the only one among all the examinees who was not affected by Igniaʼs magic! Within those heaven-defying flames, Natsuʼs strength not only did not decrease, but instead became increasingly powerful. His entire body emitted violent power and scorching flames!

”What is going on with these three perverts?!”

Ignia looked at Lyon, Gray, and Natsu, who were naked and carrying Kurokoʼs Basketball, and raised an eyebrow. He turned and looked at Evan and the others as he asked.

”As you can see, they are simply perverts...”

In response, Evan merely smiled and spoke softly.

”So thatʼs how it is...”

Ignia frowned slightly. He seemed to have figured something out, yet also seemed to have figured out nothing.

However, Ignia did not think too deeply about this matter. After all, to him, whether Gray, Lyon, and Natsu were perverts had little to do with him!

Just beat them up and be done with it...

”Hehe...”

As Ignia thought this, his body turned into an afterimage, and he swung his fist toward the group of powerhouses attacking him.

”Fire Dragon Godʼs Crushing Fist!!”

Ignia roared, and terrifying flames once again burned inside the Fairy Tail guild.

One minute later...

”I lost~”

Natsu lay in the ruins with his head covered in bumps, raised a small white flag, and chose to surrender.

As for Gray and Lyon, these two perverts had long since lain in the ruins without any sound...

They had already fainted...

”Too weak, too weak...”

Ignia had his back to everyone and moved his elbows. Toward the Mages he had defeated, he did not even look at them one more time. Losers were losers. They did not have the qualification to receive his attention! In the eyes of a powerful chuunibyou, there was no seat for weak perverts!

”Damn it...”

Kagura collapsed painfully on the ground. She had already done her best, but she still lost!

The enemy was too strong, so strong that she could not raise any will to defeat him!

”Now I announce in the name of August, the Fourth Guild Master of the Fairy Tail guild!”

”Fairy Tail guildʼs X782 S-Class Mage Promotion Trial has officially ended!”

”The winner of this yearʼs trial is the son of Fire Dragon King Igneel, Ignia!!”

August stood on the guild platform and announced Igniaʼs victory.

”Note...”

”It is not the son of Fire Dragon King Igneel, Ignia...”

”It is the strongest God Dragon standing in Guiltina, Fire Dragon God Ignia!”

Ignia, who had originally turned his back to everyone and posed pretentiously, frowned after hearing Augustʼs words. He turned and looked toward August on the platform, speaking coldly.

”Oh~”

”I understand, son of Igneel!”

Hearing this, August narrowed his eyes. He seemed to have discovered Igniaʼs weakness.

”Hah?!”

”Do you want to fight?”

In response, Ignia frowned tightly, and powerful terrifying magic power instantly erupted from his body.

”Boom!!”

For a moment, August and Ignia confronted each other. Terrifying magic power bloomed throughout the entire Fairy Tail guild, and even the entire Magnolia Town, making the Mages inside the guild feel frightened.

”Hey, hey, hey!”

”Guild Master August is going to fight Ignia?”

”This is no joke!”

The Mages inside the guild looked at August and Ignia confronting each other, and their faces all became shocked as they spoke in astonishment.

To be honest, they simply could not imagine the scene of these two monsters, Ignia and August, fighting...

That would definitely be a world-collapsing, apocalyptic disaster! If things went poorly, the Fairy Tail guild...

No, perhaps even Magnolia Town, and even the Kingdom of Fiore, might become history?!

”You two...”

Just as the atmosphere between August and Ignia became increasingly solemn, Evan flashed and arrived between the two.

”Oh! Evan made a move!”

”Is he planning to stop the fight?”

”As expected of Evan...”

The Mages inside the guild all praised Evan after seeing him make a move.

”If youʼre going to fight, go fight in Elentear!”

Then, the Mages of Fairy Tail heard Evan speak indifferently to Ignia and August.

”He has absolutely no intention of stopping the fight!”

”As expected of that Evan...”

After hearing Evanʼs words, the fun-seekers of the guild all expressed agreement.

Yes, whether Evan was stopping the fight or watching the fun! The Mages of the Fairy Tail guild would firmly stand behind Evan. Who made them all Mages of the Fairy Tail guild~

”Tch...”

After Ignia glanced at Evan, he curled his lips and directly walked out of the Fairy Tail guild.

It seemed that after Evan intervened, Ignia had completely lost the intention to continue fighting August...

”That guy...”

As Ignia turned and left, the former Guild Master of Fairy Tail, Makarov, who had been sitting near the bar and drinking wine, narrowed his eyes.

”Old man, did you discover something?”

Standing beside Makarov were Silver and the other S-Class Mages of the Fairy Tail guild. At this moment, everyone looked at Makarov, who was acting out of character, and asked in confusion.

”No, nothing...”

After hearing everyoneʼs words, Makarov gently shook his head. He merely sat on the table and narrowed his eyes, staring at Igniaʼs back.

”...I just saw the shadow of someone in Ignia.”

After Makarov finished speaking, he drank all the wine in his cup.

In Makarovʼs eyes, Ignia was like a child who had power but did not know whom he should prove himself to. He was like Laxus before Evan and the others joined the guild...

But the problem on Ignia was even greater than the problem on Laxus! Because Laxus was, at most, a brat with some power, but Ignia was different. He was a terrifying giant dragon with the power to burn a continent to ashes!

”I hope this kid Ignia wonʼt walk onto the wrong path!”

As Makarov thought this, he sighed helplessly.

To be honest, if Laxus walked the wrong path, with his strength, he could still think of a way to correct him...

But Ignia was different. Ignia was a Dragon King. If he walked the wrong path and his thoughts became extreme, with Makarovʼs meager strength, it would fundamentally not be enough!

”Forget it! Anyway, there are so many young people in the Fairy Tail guild now. I donʼt need to worry about these messy matters anymore...”

After Makarov sat there and thought briefly, he smiled lightly.

Yes, the current Fairy Tail guild was no longer the original Fairy Tail guild...

Whether it was August, the current Guild Master of Fairy Tail, or Evan, Irene, Selene, and the other S-Class Mages inside Fairy Tail, they were all monster-class. As long as they were there, even if Ignia walked the wrong path, he would be corrected—physically corrected!

Thinking of this, Makarovʼs mood suddenly became much happier. He continued drinking his wine, then occasionally teased the girls around him~

”Buzz~”

After August announced the end of Fairy Tail guildʼs competition...

Evan used Enchantment Magic to add clothes onto the examinees inside the Fairy Tail guild who had participated in the S-Class Mage Promotion Trial and had their clothes burned away by Igniaʼs flames.

”The clothes are back...”

Natsu and the others looked at the clothes on their bodies, their expressions stunned.

”Thank you, Brother Evan!”

As for Lisanna, Seilah, and the others, they naturally voiced their gratitude toward Evan.

”Kagura, are you alright?”

Evan did not say anything. He merely smiled faintly at everyone, then walked directly before Kagura and asked with a smile.

”Iʼm fine...” Kagura first smiled faintly at Evan, then spoke with lifeless eyes. ”Itʼs only another failure. Iʼm already used to it~”

”Haha, looks like youʼre still sad because you couldnʼt pass this yearʼs S-Class exam~”

Evan looked at Kaguraʼs appearance and smiled lightly. He read many things from Kaguraʼs lifeless eyes.

”I clearly already worked very hard!”

”But...”

Kaguraʼs usually incomparably bright eyes flickered with lifeless light.

She had clearly already worked very hard. With her current strength, even if she encountered a powerhouse ranked among the Ten Wizard Saints, she might not necessarily lose...

But she still could not pass Fairy Tailʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial!

There was no way around it. Who made the Mages of the Fairy Tail guild so rolled inward~

”Kagura, do you want to pass the trial?”

Evan looked at Kaguraʼs lifeless eyes and asked softly.

”Yes!”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Kagura nodded vigorously. Of course she wanted to become an S-Class Mage of the guild. She had already struggled toward this goal for who knew how many years.

”In that case, how about I give you a suggestion?”

Evan looked at Kaguraʼs firm gaze. He could see that Kagura was serious.

”Mm!”

Kagura nodded vigorously. She was filled with expectation toward Evanʼs suggestion.

”Go to the Mage prison BLACKVOX and beat Jose Porla up!”

After hearing Kaguraʼs words, Evan revealed a smile and gave Kagura a clear suggestion.

”Brother Evan, what do you mean?”

Kaguraʼs eyes lit up. She seemed to hear the hidden meaning in Evanʼs words.

”Mm! Just as you imagined!”

”Because inside the Fairy Tail guild, there are simply too many S-Class Mage candidates whose strength has reached S-Class, but who have been unable to pass the trial for a long time due to luck.”

”So starting this year, we have reformed the guildʼs S-Class Mage assessment! As long as a Mage believes their own strength has already reached the guildʼs S-Class standard, then they no longer need to wait for the year-end S-Class Mage Promotion Trial!”

”They can go to the magical prison BLACKVOX on their own and choose to challenge Jose Porla imprisoned inside BLACKVOX, or Zero, the inner personality of the former Director of the Magic Development Bureau! As long as they defeat either one of them and obtain the approval of BLACKVOXʼs warden, they can be promoted as an exception to become an S-Class Mage of the Fairy Tail guild...”

Evan told Kagura about the matter he had discussed with Makarov and August, the two Guild Masters.

”So thatʼs how it is.”

Hearing this, Kaguraʼs face instantly revealed some excitement. At the same time, her eyes carried eagerness to try.

”Did you all hear that?”

At the same time, the S-Class Mage candidates inside the guild, as well as some Mages who believed their strength was decent but had not been selected as candidates, all revealed smiles.

”The target is the Mage prison BLACKVOX!”
