Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 407: Evan Who Surpassed the God Dragons?

”Boom!”

Just as the X780 S-Class Mage Promotion Trial ended inside the Fairy Tail Guild.

In the sky of Elentear...

The battle between Irene and Evan finally came to an end!

”Boom...”

The weapons in Irene and Evanʼs hands shattered one after another. Ireneʼs sword had only half left, while the kanabo in Evanʼs hand completely turned into ashes...

”Cough cough...”

Immediately afterward, Evan began coughing continuously. Blood spilled from his mouth, as though he had suffered very serious injuries.

”Hehe...”

On the other side, accompanied by endless rumbling sounds, Irene smiled as she leaned backward, and the beautiful celestial maiden fell from the sky.

”Irene!”

When Evan saw this scene, his pupils shrank. Ignoring his own injuries, he immediately activated spatial magic.

”Buzz!”

Accompanied by a wave of spatial fluctuation, the figures of Irene and Evan instantly disappeared from the air.

In Elentear, on a certain grassy field filled with the fragrance of flowers...

Irene lay there quietly. She gently smelled the fragrance of the flowers, narrowing her eyes, her face filled with enjoyment.

At this moment, Irene felt relaxed like never before. Her son had grown, already grown to a level enough to surpass her.

”Pant, pant, pant...”

Beside Irene, Evan sat directly on the ground. Compared to Irene, who was enjoying the autumn wind, Evan looked more like the defeated one. At this moment, the magic power and physical stamina inside Evan had already been exhausted, and his entire body was only supported by his spirit.

”You won, my foolish son.”

Irene lay on the grass and suddenly opened her beautiful eyes. She used her violet eyes to quietly look at Evanʼs cheeks and announced with a smile.

”Mm...”

After hearing this, Evan directly leaned backward and lay on the grass, closing his eyes.

He was too tired. Fighting successively against the three monsters August, Selene, and Irene had consumed far more stamina and spirit than he had imagined. During that time, his Future Sight Observation Haki had hardly ever stopped, while he was also releasing Conquerorʼs Haki to interfere with Ireneʼs prediction of the future...

Of course, Irene was doing the same. Under the triple consumption of magic power, Haki, and physical stamina, Evan almost became exhausted to the point of collapse.

However, the benefits brought by Zoan awakening were now being displayed. Evanʼs condition was changing at a speed almost visible to the naked eye. His breathing soon calmed, and his condition gradually improved...

”Irene, you held back, right?”

Evan lay on the grass and did not want to get up at all. He asked Irene, who was sitting beside him and had almost recovered, showing no sign of any physical exhaustion.

”No~”

”You did indeed win one round against me~”

”Congratulations, congratulations~”

”Clap clap clap...”

Irene revealed a charming smile toward Evan. She continuously clapped with her hands, which were wearing black leather gloves, and encouraged Evan.

”...”

Regarding this, Evan remained silent for a while.

”You really did hold back, didnʼt you?”

”But I did indeed win one round against you~”

Evan smiled at this. Irene, who originally possessed destructive power equal to, or even possibly above, Magic King August, had eaten the Human-Human Fruit and developed the fruit ability to awakening. At the same time, after learning the Six Powers and Haki from Evan, just what level Ireneʼs combat power had reached, even Evan could not say clearly. He only faintly felt that he had still not forced out Ireneʼs limits.

”Ara~”

”It was only one round that you won against me...”

”If we continued, someone would have been spanked by Mom~”

Seeing Evanʼs proud expression, Irene clenched her hand into a fist and struck Evanʼs head hard.

”Haha...”

Regarding this, Evan merely laughed lightly.

”Letʼs go, back to the guild!”

As Evan stood up from the ground, he pulled Irene up in one motion.

”Mm~”

Irene glared at Evan, too lazy to waste words with this good eldest son of hers.

”Buzz!”

Accompanied by a spatial fluctuation, the figures of Evan and Irene instantly disappeared from where they were.

In the blink of an eye, they arrived inside the Fairy Tail Guild.

”Weʼre back...”

When Evan and Irene returned to the guild, they discovered that Selene, Kurnugi, August, and Mavis had already returned early. Among them, Kurnugi was wrapped in bandages all over his body and seemed to be seriously injured. At this moment, he was looking at Evan with extremely resentful eyes.

”Master, you really screwed me over badly!”

Kurnugi complained. When Evan sent a message asking him to go pick up Selene, he had thought that it was finally his turn to show filial piety...

In the end, he had indeed shown filial piety. It was just that he, Kurnugi, did not really like the way this filial piety was performed.

”If youʼre this filial, youʼll always be fine!”

Evan patted Kurnugiʼs head and laughed.

”Hiss...”

”Pain, pain, pain...”

After being touched by Evan, Kurnugi felt as if his wounds were about to split open, and tears streamed down his face.

”Haha...”

Looking at Kurnugiʼs crying face, the corners of Evanʼs mouth rose. Smiles did not disappear, they merely transferred!

”Eh?! You two are...”

Immediately afterward, Evan turned his gaze toward the bar counter, where Gildarts and Cana were sitting together, and was stunned.

”Evan, do you know? I have a daughter now! Hahaha, Cana is my daughter!”

After hearing this, Gildarts revealed a smile uglier than crying toward Evan. He grinned like a huge fool, looking completely like a daughter slave.

”You recognized each other?”

Evan froze for a moment, then looked at the people around him and asked.

”They recognized each other!”

After hearing this, Makarov and the others nodded together, confirming Evanʼs guess.

”How did you recognize each other?”

Evan immediately became curious. According to Canaʼs pride, unless she became an S-Class Mage, she should not have recognized him.

”Lord Evan, it was all thanks to me!”

As Evan asked, the one asking for credit immediately came. A person wrapped in bandages from head to toe and with an unrecognizable face ran before Evan and spoke proudly.

”Who the hell are you?”

Evan looked at the mummy before him, the corner of his eye twitching, and asked.

”Itʼs me! Me!”

After hearing this, the mummyʼs expression grew anxious as he continuously explained to Evan.

”Youʼre very suspicious! You look exactly like a telecom scammer...”

After hearing the mummyʼs words, Evan felt even more that the person before him had a problem.

”Itʼs me, Neinhart!”

The mummyʼs eyes revealed disappointment. His eyes seemed to carry endless pain, and in a daze, the mummy seemed to hear the sound of his heart breaking.

”Eh? Neinhart? How did you get beaten into this state?”

After hearing this, Evan froze. He truly had not expected the man before him to be Neinhart. At any rate, Neinhart was also a proper Spriggan 12-level monster. How could he have been beaten into this state?

”Donʼt mention it...”

”When I participated in your guildʼs S-Class Mage Promotion Trial, I fought with that scumbag daughter-slave called Gildarts!”

”Lord Evan, Fairy Tail truly deserves to be the guild you are in! The exam for selecting S-Class Mages is even harder than the exam I took back then to become one of the Spriggan 12 in the Alvarez Empire...”

The corner of Neinhartʼs eye twitched. While complaining that Gildarts had been too ruthless, he did not forget to flatter Evan, living up to his identity as the number one lackey under Irene. He was a complete professional flatterer.

”This guy... threatens my position!”

Animus, who had consciously stood behind Evan after Evan returned to the guild, flapped his small wings and flew in the air, staring fiercely at Neinhart. Inside the Fairy Tail Guild, one person who knew how to flatter was enough. There was no need for two.

”Mm?!”

Perhaps because like repels like, Neinhart also seemed to notice Animus, who was an Exceed. Immediately, their gazes crossed in the air and collided fiercely.

”I have to find some time to get rid of this eyesore of a human...”

”I have to find some time to get rid of this eyesore of a cat...”

”...and finish him off!”

Animus and Neinhart, these two scumbags, reached a consensus at this moment.

Every time one scumbag reformed, thousands upon thousands of scumbags stood up! It was just that the directions of their scumminess were different, belonging to a hundred flowers blooming...

”None of that is important, right?”

”Evan, tell us! In the battle between you and Irene, who exactly won...”

Just as the atmosphere was incomparably peaceful and harmonious, Selene, who was sitting at the bar, suddenly put down the beer in her hand. Her beautiful eyes stared fixedly at Evan and Irene as she asked the question she was incomparably curious about.

”...”

As Selene asked, the originally noisy Fairy Tail Guild suddenly quieted down.

Everyone put down the beer in their hands and stared fixedly at Evan and Irene.

In fact, when Evan and Irene returned to the guild, everyone had already been curious. Everyone wanted to know who exactly was the winner of the battle for the strongest in Fairy Tail...

Who exactly sat high on Fairy Tailʼs strongest throne? Was it the rising star Evan? Or the invincible Wise Dragon Queen, Irene Belserion?!

”Brother, Mother...”

Among the members of the Fairy Tail Guild, the one most worried about and most concerned about the outcome of this battle was none other than Erza, Ireneʼs daughter and Evanʼs younger sister.

At this moment, her eyes continuously moved back and forth between Irene and Evan, and her heart felt slightly nervous. In truth, no matter who won, Erza would be happy. But no matter whether Evan or Irene lost, it was something Erza did not want to see...

”Thatʼs right! Who exactly won?”

The corners of Evanʼs mouth rose slightly. He could sense everyoneʼs curiosity, so he deliberately lowered his voice, deliberately kept them in suspense, and asked everyone back without saying directly.

”Gulp...”

As Evan deliberately acted mysterious, the atmosphere inside the guild instantly reached its peak. Everyone focused their full attention on Evan, and some even held their breath!

”Of course, Belserion won...”

Just as the atmosphere reached its peak, Evan suddenly laughed. He looked at everyone and spoke half-jokingly.

”Huh?!”

In an instant, everyone in the entire Fairy Tail Guild froze.

”What kind of answer is that?”

”Hahaha...”

Immediately, everyone revealed smiles. They were speechless at Evanʼs answer, but thinking carefully, there was nothing wrong with it. It was indeed Belserion who won. Although they did not know whether Fairy Tailʼs strongest throne had fallen into Evanʼs hands or Ireneʼs hands, without a doubt, the strongest throne had fallen into Belserionʼs hands...

The name of Wise Dragon Belserion would certainly become famous throughout the entire world!

”Disperse, disperse! What strongest or not strongest...”

”Go do whatever you should be doing!”

At this moment, Makarov stood on Fairy Tailʼs podium, holding a loudspeaker, and shouted toward the guild members.

”Tch...”

As Makarovʼs words fell, the mages inside the guild all made disdainful sounds.

For a moment, it seemed everyone was no longer that concerned about who was the strongest in the Fairy Tail Guild...

Just as Evan had said, the strongest throne merely changed hands within the Belserion family anyway...

”I say, old woman, stop keeping me in suspense and just say it. Who won between you and Evan?”

Selene put down her wine glass, walked to Irene with the smell of alcohol all over her body, and asked.

”So smelly~”

”Hehe, after losing, you started drinking heavily. But this smell of alcohol does cover the coquettish smell on your body!”

Irene narrowed her eyes at Selene before her, took half a step back, and used the remaining half of the broken sword in her hand to press against Seleneʼs head, preventing her from getting close.

”Hehe, it was you mother and son who lacked martial virtue. I only lost because you two ganged up on me. One-on-one, I absolutely would not lose!”

After hearing Ireneʼs words, Selene sneered. She would never admit that she lost~ Hmph!

”Ara, a loss is a loss. Why are you acting drunk?”

After hearing Seleneʼs words, Irene could not help rolling her eyes.

”So who exactly won?”

Selene pulled on Irene and persistently questioned her.

”Go ask Evan!”

Regarding this, Irene expressed that she was too lazy to deal with Selene.

”He wonʼt tell me~”

”You mother and son are simply carved from the same mold. Each of you refuses to speak properly!”

Selene was very angry. She placed one hand on her waist and looked at Irene angrily.

”Mm?!”

After hearing Seleneʼs words, Irene froze for a moment. She had not expected that after drinking too much, Selene would actually become so good at talking. Speaking of which, Irene was still somewhat concerned about the fact that Evan was not her biological son. Now, after hearing Seleneʼs words, her heart felt incomparably comfortable...

”Seeing that you want to know so much, Iʼll tell you! That brat Evan won~”

Irene smiled lightly at Selene and answered softly.

”Evan won?” After hearing this, Selene froze. Then a bit of a smile suddenly appeared on her beautiful face. ”I donʼt believe it!”

”Hehe, I already told you. As for whether you believe it or not, that is not my concern~”

Irene shrugged. She had already told Selene the truth. As for Selene not believing it, what could she do?

She was helpless too~

”In short, the competition is over!”

”Brats, the banquet is starting!!”

At this moment, Makarov stood on the podium, held a loudspeaker, and roared loudly.

”Oh!!”

As Makarovʼs words fell, the entire Fairy Tail Guild let out earth-shaking roars.

”Um, Guild Master, our guild has no alcohol left...”

Just as Makarov announced the start of the banquet, Cana happened to come out of the warehouse. She looked at Makarov and spoke helplessly.

”Huh? No alcohol? A mage guild can lack anything, but how can it lack alcohol? That will not do!!”

For a moment, the expressions of all the mages in the entire guild changed. Having no alcohol was no different from taking their lives~

”There is no other way. Letʼs return to Earth-land!”

After everyone fell silent for a moment, they made their decision.

Thus...

”Buzz!”

Accompanied by a huge spatial gate lighting up in the sky, the entire Magnolia Town instantly disappeared from Elentear.

”Phew...”

It was unknown whether it was an illusion, but when Magnolia Town, or more accurately, the Fairy Tail Guild finally left Elentear, a gust of wind suddenly blew, as though the world was breathing a sigh of relief because of Fairy Tail.

On the other side...

At this moment, the sky of Earth-land had already turned dark...

The entire world was pitch black...

”Come back quickly! Fairy Tail, come back quickly!”

”Magnolia Town, come back quickly!”

The commander of the logistics unit was currently burning incense and worshiping the gods. He was praying toward the sky, praying that the great god could return Magnolia Town...

Honestly speaking, he would never speak nonsense again in the future. Just as he told his subordinate earlier that Fairy Tail exploding was not worth mentioning, and that Fairy Tail not exploding and Fairy Tail members leaving the guild was the truly terrifying thing, the lunatics of Fairy Tail then disappeared with the entire town right after...

As for where Fairy Tail and Magnolia Town went? Who the hell knew where those lunatics went?

”Report, Commander...”

Just as this commander knelt and prayed for the god to respond to his will.

That soldier once again barged into the commanderʼs office.

”What is it this time?”

The commander looked at the soldier, raised his brows, and asked angrily.

”Report, Commander! Fairy Tail and Magnolia have returned!”

The soldier looked at the commander and shouted excitedly.

”Really?!”

After hearing this, the commanderʼs expression brightened.

”The true god has shown spirit! Gods really exist in this world...”

The commander was excited. He had not expected that the great god would actually respond to him.

”Itʼs true. Also, the alcohol in our warehouse was taken away by Fairy Tailʼs people...”

The soldier looked at the commander carefully and spoke.

”Thatʼs not important...”

”Let them take it! Let them take it! Take it all! As long as they donʼt cause trouble, thatʼs enough!”

The commander waved his hand. At this moment, he did not care about alcohol at all.

”Oh!”

The soldier looked at the abnormal commander, his expression freezing. He felt that todayʼs commander had a huge problem. If it were the normal commander, he should have started cursing loudly.

Of course, the commander not cursing was a good thing. He would not rush to pick up scolding. While the commander had not flown into a rage, the soldier turned and withdrew.

”Great Scarlet Heavenly Maiden Goddess! Please show your spirit again and grant me a few jars of fine wine, how about it?”

Not long after the soldier left, the commander immediately knelt before the divine statue and continuously burned incense and chanted prayers.

Honestly speaking, he had originally not intended to believe in this god. After all, this Scarlet Heavenly Maiden Goddess religion had only risen in recent years...

He had heard from those believers that it was very effective, so he treated a dead horse as a living horse and decided to try. In the end, he had not expected that it really was effective!

Thinking about it now, when he questioned this goddess back then, he had probably failed to appreciate kindness...

Listen to this goddessʼs name, Scarlet Heaven!

Just hearing it made her sound like a great god with unfathomable divine power!

At the same time, inside the Fairy Tail Guild...

A group of fun-lovers were drinking wildly!

”Brothers, drink!”

”Today, Iʼll perform drinking one barrel of wine in three gulps for everyone!”

Canaʼs slender arm lifted a wine barrel as she shouted loudly.

”Oh!!!”

As Cana revealed her special skill, the atmosphere of the entire Fairy Tail Guild rose high.

”My daughter is really awesome!”

Gildarts looked at Cana drinking heavily and shouted with a foolish smile.

At the same time, while everyone was celebrating...

Evan opened his quest and attribute panels.

[Emergency Mission: The title of the strongest mage of the Fairy Tail Guild has been vacant for too long! Everyone has only been the strongest candidate, yet no one knows who the strongest in the guild truly is?! It is time to sit on the throne of Fairy Tailʼs strongest!]

At this moment, this mission had already turned blue.

”Settle!”

Evan did not think much and directly touched the panel lightly with his consciousness.

”Settlement Complete: Congratulations to the host for reaching the top of Fairy Tailʼs strongest throne. A Hundred-Year Quest Medal has descended!”

Looking at the settled reward, the corners of Evanʼs mouth rose slightly.

”System, add my points!”

Evan immediately opened his attribute column and called up his attribute panel. Then his gaze locked onto the Devil Fruit column: (Dragon Slayer) Zoan-Type Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Beast Model: Azure Dragon Form: LV15 (+). Then, he lightly pressed the plus sign behind LV15 (+).

Instantly, the first Hundred-Year Quest Medal that Evan had obtained directly from the system and not synthesized disappeared...

In its place, the LV15 behind Azure Dragon Form became LV16!

”Boom!”

For a moment, Evanʼs entire body roared. Violent power tore apart Evanʼs body, then reconstructed it.

At this moment, Evan knew that he had already entered an entirely new realm, a realm that no one in the current world of Earth-land had touched.

Although Evan did not know who was stronger between the current him and the black dragon who had devoured the power of the Time Rift, he was definitely stronger than the current Little Black.

”Little Blackie, looks like itʼs time for us to have a proper clash~”

Electric light flashed in Evanʼs eyes. At this moment, Evan felt that he had finally stood up.

It was also precisely after Evan upgraded his dragon power to Level 16 that he discovered an awkward problem.

”My magic power is even more insufficient than I imagined!”

After his dragon power rose to Level 16, Evan discovered a slightly awkward problem. Level 16 was even more powerful than he had imagined. Simply put, for Evan to unleash the true power of Level 16, he needed even more magic power than he had imagined. With his current magic power and physical stamina, after throwing one punch at full power, he would basically have exhausted all his strength.

Therefore, strictly speaking, Evan had still not surpassed the God Dragon level...

”Going limp after one punch wonʼt do! I still have to think of a way to solve the magic power problem!”

Evan fell into deep thought.

At the same time.

In a certain ruin on the continent.

”God is super strong! It is time to let this continent resound with my name!”

A certain twin-tailed chuunibyou youth felt that he could do it. He was invincible.
