Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 415: The Great Victory of the Belserion Family

”Hehe, since you have already said that much! Then the task of calling Ignia will be left to you, Igneel~”

”After all, you are Igniaʼs father. I think Ignia will probably listen to you!”

Evan looked at Igneel before him and smiled.

”Calling that rebellious son Ignia here is simple enough...”

”But in my view, even if we trick that brat here, that brat will most likely be unconvinced!”

”He may not necessarily join hands with us to deal with Acnologia...”

Igneel frowned tightly and spoke of the worry in his heart.

”Then in your opinion, how should we deal with your noble son?”

Evan sat in his seat and looked at Igneel with a perfectly amiable appearance, but there was a hint of guidance in Evanʼs words.

”Thatʼs simple...”

Hearing this, Igneel revealed a relaxed expression. He did not seem to hear the guidance in Evanʼs words.

Dragons, especially dragons from four hundred years ago, had always been simple-minded creatures.

”I know Igniaʼs temper. That brat takes after me. Trying to talk to him properly wonʼt work...”

”If you want to communicate with Ignia, there is only one way, and that is to beat him into submission!”

Igneel crossed his arms in front of himself and spoke to everyone.

At the same time, when Igneel said that Ignia took after him, he even revealed some smugness.

”But Ignia is your child. If we beat him badly, beat him into shutting himself away, you wonʼt...”

As Evan spoke, his expression revealed some worry.

”You can rest assured about that. No matter what state that brat Ignia is beaten into, I wonʼt care!”

”If he is defeated by someone else, it can only prove that his skill is inferior...”

Hearing this, Igneel gently waved his hand, looking as though he did not care in the slightest. What Fire Dragon King Igneel mainly did was righteous extermination of his own kin!

”Is that so? Since that is the case, Iʼm relieved...”

After hearing Igneelʼs words, Evan revealed a relaxed smile.

He had been waiting for Igneel to say this~

Of course Evan knew Igniaʼs temper very well. After all, Selene had complained to him about Ignia several times...

Ignia was just like Igneel in his younger days. He believed himself to be invincible under heaven, relied on his own power, and spent every day discontent with this and that, looking down on everyone! At every turn, he would say so-and-so was inferior to him, or that so-and-so was trash, or that if he went up, he would have instantly killed all of them with one punch long ago~

This kind of person was just a little punk. Even if Ignia possessed Dragon King-level combat strength, it did not hinder Igniaʼs nature as a little punk! At most, Ignia counted as a little punk who possessed transcendent power and endless personal might! To deal with this kind of little punk who possessed personal might and believed himself invincible under heaven, the simplest method was to beat him up. Once he was beaten into submission, everything else would be easy to discuss...

”Then here comes the question. Have you thought of what excuse to use to trick Ignia here?”

Evan continued looking at Igneel and asked.

”I havenʼt thought of one for now, but that brat Igniaʼs head isnʼt good. There will always be an opportunity to trick him here...”

Igneel gently shook his head. Once people got old, their heads easily became wooden.

Four hundred years ago, when he was still young, he did not believe it. But now, he increasingly felt that his head was not enough to use.

”To be honest, I actually have a plan that will definitely allow you to trick your noble son Ignia here...”

Evan looked at Igneelʼs frowning appearance, and the corners of his mouth rose slightly.

In truth, Evan had long since thought of a method to lure Ignia over.

”Oh? What method do you have?”

Igneel sat in his seat and asked Evan.

Igneel had never been someone who cared about minor details. Since Evan said he had a method, then let Evan speak. It just so happened that he was too lazy to think. Compared to using his brain to think of schemes, battle suited him more!

It was like this four hundred years ago, and it was still like this now. Things like plans were better left to Zeref! And Evan! These black-hearted fellows who were extremely fond of tactics could do them...

”Itʼs very simple. You just say...”

”You, Fire Dragon King Igneel, are going to duel Moon Dragon God Selene in the world of Elentear!”

”But because you have just awakened, your power has not recovered. At the same time, you need to accumulate power to duel Black Dragon King Acnologia, so you plan to devour Selene and restore your power! Therefore, you ask your son Ignia to V you... I mean, to come and assist you.”

”As a reward! After you finish devouring Seleneʼs power and return to your peak, you can promise Ignia and agree to fight him first! Let him, before the invincible Black Dragon King Acnologia, first experience the power of Fire Dragon King of Earth-land, who was invincible four hundred years ago...”

Evan looked at Igneel and spoke with a cheerful smile. This was a very simple scam method. In Evanʼs previous life, this kind of scam method existed all over the internet as memes, yet there would still be people who fell for it...

However, this was not some ”I am Qin Shi Huang, just awakened, V50” joke, but a fishing method mixed with truth and lies. After all, Fire Dragon King Igneel had truly awakened in this world. Evan believed that with Igniaʼs brain, he definitely would not react in time.

”No problem...”

Igneel nodded lightly, expressing that he did not care.

”Then letʼs do this!”

Evan stood up, preparing to announce the end of the meeting and head to the world of Elentear to make preparations.

Yes, Evan was attracting Ignia to Elentear because he planned to make a move against Ignia in the world of Elentear...

Ignia was a Dragon King-level monster after all! If they made a move against Ignia in Earth-land, they might attract little Blackʼs attention! But if they made a move against Ignia in the world of Elentear, there would not be so many burdens. This could effectively prevent little Black from noticing their plan in advance...

At that time, he, Irene, Selene, Igneel, and Ignia, five Dragon Kings, plus August and Zeref, two Mages standing deep within the abyss of magic, would definitely be able to give little Black a surprise~

”Good...”

As Evan stood up, August, Igneel, Irene, and Igneel all nodded, expressing support for Evanʼs opinion.

However...

”Wait!”

Just as Evan was about to announce the end of the meeting, Selene suddenly stopped everyone who was about to leave the meeting room.

At this moment, Seleneʼs fox-like face carried some displeasure. Those alluring eyes, which usually emitted endless charm, flickered with flames of dissatisfaction.

”Uh... Senior Selene, is there anything else?”

Hearing this, Evan froze for a moment. He turned sideways and looked at Selene, asking in confusion.

”I only have one question! Why must Igneel restore his power by devouring me? Canʼt Igneel devour someone else to recover his power?”

Selene narrowed her eyes, and her gaze emitted a dangerous aura.

”Huh? No, this is only a hypothetical. This is just a scam...”

”This is bait to lure Ignia into biting. It does not mean Igneel will really devour you!”

”In truth, with this bait, as long as it can make Ignia run to the world of Elentear to help Igneel, thereby entering our encirclement, then actually anyone can be substituted...”

After hearing Seleneʼs words, the corner of Evanʼs eye twitched. He did not expect that Ignia had not believed the lie he randomly made up first, but Selene had believed it first instead...

”So thatʼs how it is!”

”Since you said that as long as Ignia can be fished to the world of Elentear, this bait can be changed to anyone, then how about changing it to Igneel devouring Irene? Itʼs the same anyway...”

Hearing this, Selene nodded lightly, expressing that she understood Evanʼs words. Then, after thinking for a moment, she asked Evan.

”Vixen! Do you want to die?”

Irene, whose expression had originally been calm, had a fierce light flashing in her eyes after hearing Seleneʼs words, and the aura on her body gradually turned violent.

”Oh my~”

”Just now, Evan still said it didnʼt matter who it was changed to~”

”So why did Irene suddenly get angry the moment you heard the bait would be changed to you?”

After hearing Ireneʼs words, Selene narrowed her eyes slightly, and her eyes emitted an incomparably dangerous light.

”Iʼm not angry~”

”I only hope you respect everyoneʼs opinions~”

”At the same time, I hope you, vixen, can use your brain a little!”

”Although I know you donʼt have much brain to begin with, I still hope you can use that walnut-sized brain of yours to think properly!”

Irene first launched a dragon-body attack against Selene.

”Indeed, Evan said anyoneʼs name could be used! But there is one prerequisite, and that is Ignia has to take the bait...”

”If you use my name, we currently face two problems. First, does Ignia know me? Even if Igneel tells Ignia to come deal with me, he has to be willing to come deal with me!”

”Second, everyone knows that the world of Elentear is your territory. Do you think Ignia wonʼt know?”

Then, Irene pointed out the reason why her name could not be used for fishing.

Ignia was not smart, but he was not a stupid BOY either~

Whether it was because this era had created the emergence of countless Dragon King-level existences, or because the bloodline of the Fire Dragon King inside Ignia allowed Ignia to never be mediocre no matter which era he was in, Ignia could not possibly be too foolish. Foolish people could not live long enough to grow into Dragon King-level beings...

”This is easy! Letʼs compromise. Your side will provide the name Belserion, which symbolizes wisdom among us dragons! Although Ignia does not know who you are, he must have heard the name Belserion!”

”And on my side... let me think properly. How about this? I will use my most beloved son, Kurnugi, as the cornerstone we bet on the road to the new era, and make him the bait to lure Igneel into biting!”

”Wuwuwu, that is my best son. My heart hurts too~”

Selene sat in her seat and thought for a while before her eyes lit up, and she spoke softly to Irene.

After Selene finished speaking, she did not forget to put on a tearful appearance, looking as though her heart hurt greatly and she was reluctant to part with her good eldest son...

What Selene mainly did was maternal kindness and filial piety...

”You...”

Irene was directly rendered speechless by Selene.

”First of all, the ancient word Belserion does not only represent my surname. It is also the surname of Evan and Erza...”

”At the same time, Belserion also represents the Wise Dragon who protected us humans during the war between dragons and humans four hundred years ago! Besides that, the surname or name Belserion also carries an incomparably deep meaning in the history of us Dragon Slayer Mages. It is not something your sonʼs value can compare to!”

Irene glared angrily at Selene and explained the meaning of Belserion to her.

”Oh? Your familyʼs lives are lives, but our familyʼs lives are not lives?”

”Evan, look quickly~ This old woman is being unreasonable here...”

Selene retorted at Irene, then shouted delicately toward Evan.

”Selene, our matters have nothing to do with my son!”

Irene looked at the seductive Selene, and her eyelids twitched slightly. A ball of anger rose in her heart.

”Alright, alright...”

”Letʼs do it according to Senior Seleneʼs words!”

”But Senior Selene, if Ignia cannot be tricked here, then you will have to think of a way to lure Ignia to Earth-land...”

Evan felt a headache as he looked at Irene and Selene about to quarrel again. He helplessly stopped the two of them while announcing how they would attract Ignia next.

”Since Evan has spoken, I have no objections. Letʼs do it this way!”

Selene nodded lightly, agreeing with Evanʼs words.

At the same time, Selene did not forget to blink her seemingly innocent eyes at Irene, looking as if to say: did you see that? This was not what I said. This was what your son Evan said...

”Fine, I have no objections either.”

Irene narrowed her eyes, and the look she gave Selene carried faint killing intent.

”Then everyone, meeting adjourned...”

Evan looked at Irene and Selene stopping, secretly breathed a sigh of relief, and then announced the end of the meeting.

”Mm...”

The top experts of the Fairy Tail guild in the meeting room nodded one after another after hearing Evanʼs words, then left the seventh-floor meeting room of the guild. Everyone went to make their own preparations.

Igneel borrowed Natsuʼs body and went alone to the Northern Continent, Guiltina...

Selene brought Kurnugi, as well as Animus whom she had picked up along the way, back to the world of Elentear!

Magic King August and Zeref seemed to have many things to say, so they did not leave the seventh-floor meeting room of the Fairy Tail guild...

Irene and Evan returned to the Scarlet Heavenly Maiden Weapon and Equipment Shop.

During this time, Irene and Evan did not say a word, as though there was a very deep conflict between them. It seemed Irene was still secretly angry at Evan...

Until the two entered the house.

”Evan, you performed well. Originally, I thought your acting skills might not pass~”

After Irene entered the house, she suddenly changed into a gentle smile.

”Not at all, not at all...”

”Everything was merely acting according to the script you gave me~”

The corners of Evanʼs mouth rose, and he smiled modestly at Irene.

Yes, before Evan summoned everyone here, he had already communicated with Irene in advance. After all, Evan, Irene, and Erza, the Belserion family, had always lived together.

The two had already simulated the situation of todayʼs meeting and revised the plan several times. In the end, Irene used her endless wisdom to revise a qualified script...

As for everything that happened in the meeting just now, all of it was within Ireneʼs expectations. Yes, the script was given by Irene...

Irene had simulated Seleneʼs emotions and the words Selene would say. It could only be said that Irene truly understood dragons, and truly understood Selene too well...

As for Selene, who believed she had obtained victory, how could Moon Dragon God possibly outplay Wise Dragon in schemes?!

Without a doubt, today was still the great victory of the Belserion family!

At the same time, Northern Continent, Guiltina...

”This world is truly boring...”

”They are all weak and unbearable insects. They cannot stir even the slightest bit of interest in me!”

”Ah! Annoying. As expected, Dadʼs genes made me too strong!”

A young man with short hair as blazing as flames and endless flames winding around his body stood quietly on the mountaintop. He looked at the humans on the ground, who were as small as ants, with disdain in his eyes.

The young man was a dragon, a giant dragon standing at the top of the food chain. At the same time, he was also one who stood at the top of dragons, possessing the power to become the king of a race. Even in the era four hundred years ago when the dragon race was at its peak, he would still have been a Dragon King-level existence standing at the very tip of the pyramid.

At this moment, this king of the dragon race felt extremely irritated. He felt irritated because he could not encounter a powerful enemy who could compete with him!

”Boom!!”

Just as the young man crossed his arms in front of himself and looked down on everything in the world, a ball of flame actually exploded before him.

”Hm? This flame...”

”There is no mistake! This is Dad, Fire Dragon King Igneelʼs flame!”

The young manʼs eyes lit up as he felt the flame explode before him. His father, who had disappeared for four hundred years, had finally returned to this world once again.

”Dad says that because he crossed through time, his power suffered a massive loss, so he needs to devour the dragon power of other giant dragons to replenish it. Currently, he has set his sights on the three giant dragons in the world of Elentear?! He wants me to go help?”

”Not good! If it is the world of Elentear, that is the territory of Selene, that btch. If Dadʼs abilities have not recovered, he may not necessarily be that btchʼs opponent! I have to go help Dad...”

The young man was naturally the son of Fire Dragon King Igneel, Ignia, who bore the name Fire Dragon God. At this moment, this hot-blooded young man still did not know that he had been tricked by his cheap father. All he thought about was lending his father a hand and helping his father overcome this difficulty.

”However, the method of going to the world of Elentear is somewhat troublesome...”

”I donʼt know spatial magic?!”

As Ignia spoke, he suddenly felt somewhat troubled. Although the flames around him could melt all things, he was not skilled in spatial magic. Therefore, although he had long been displeased with Selene, that b*tch dragon who stood on the side of humans, for many years, he had no way to do anything about it, because he could not reach Selene.

”Boom!”

Just as Ignia felt troubled, the flame inherited from Igneel suddenly rolled and burned before Ignia!

In the end, it formed a gigantic flame passage! This was the brand-new Dragon Slayer Magic Flame Wing that Irene developed after learning Seleneʼs spatial magic, Aqua Aera!

”Ahahahaha...”

”Isnʼt this move the trump-card magic of that stinking b*tch Selene? I didnʼt expect my dad to have actually learned it...”

”Now Selene canʼt run away!”

Ignia first froze when he saw the spatial gate before him, then suddenly burst into loud laughter. He was wild with joy and extremely excited. Immediately afterward, Ignia did not think too much. Perhaps it was also because the skilled are bold. Looking across the entire world, aside from Black Dragon King Acnologia, whose strength was unknown, no one else could threaten Igniaʼs life. Even if he encountered a fellow Dragon King-level existence, at most, they would fight fifty-fifty...

Therefore, Ignia transformed into a ball of flame and directly crossed into the enormous spatial gate before him. He was going to save his father, the Fire Dragon King~

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by a roar, Ignia instantly arrived in the world of Elentear.

Pitch-black...

Because the world of Elentear was Seleneʼs territory, the entire world was influenced by Seleneʼs power. Therefore, on the continent where Selene was located, it was always pitch-black. But this did not hinder the growth of all things on the continent ruled by Selene! After losing the illumination of sunlight, all things were influenced by the magic power of the moon and grew increasingly lush...

”Ah! So annoying. Just seeing the moon above my head makes me feel irritated!”

Ignia raised his head and looked at the sky. Looking at the bright golden full moon above his head, hatred immediately rose in his heart.

”Disperse!”

Ignia did not waste words. With a wave of his hand, an enormous fireball shot toward the sky. It was like a great sun rising in the sky, instantly enveloping the entire sky of Black Night Mountain. The terrifying scorching aura completely dispelled Moon Dragon God Seleneʼs Moon God power! For a moment, the continent where Selene was located instantly became bright. The entire world of Elentear no longer had any night to speak of!

”Hahaha...”

”This is much more comfortable~”

After Ignia finished doing all this, he suddenly laughed loudly. He felt the scorching sun in the sky and revealed a smug smile.

”Then next...”

Ignia moved his body. He used the sun above his head to sense the entire land.

”Found it!”

After a long while, Ignia found a direction. In that direction, he sensed his father, the Fire Dragon Kingʼs power, who had been invincible in the world four hundred years ago.

”Boom!!”

Violent flames tore through the sky and stirred up thousand-layered fire waves...

On the ground...

All those extremely lush plants that had grown by receiving Moon Dragon God Seleneʼs blessing were immediately burned by those flames and then withered instantly!

”Damn it! Where did this unreasonable bastard come from...”

On the ground, countless farmers watched Fire Dragon God Ignia carve out a cloud of flames across the sky and cursed endlessly.

However, Ignia did not care at all. Unlike Selene, he did not care about human life or death at all...

No, to be precise, he did not care about the life or death of anyone unrelated to him, whether humans or dragons!
