Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 416: Your Dad Is Still Your Dad!

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by a roar, the entire sky seemed to be torn apart. A huge flame separated heaven and earth, like a sharp sword cutting this world apart! This was Fire Dragon Godʼs enormous might! Flying at high speed, even a continent would emit waves of rumbling and find it hard to endure! At this moment, the spirit of the world of Elentear trembled. At its young age, it had endured far too much pressure that it should not have endured at this age!

”Boom...”

Accompanied by strings of fire waves, Ignia flew through the world of Elentear in an extremely high-profile manner. It was as though he wanted to tell the master of this world: ”I, Ignia, have arrived. What can you do to me?!”

”This bastard...”

In the hot spring of Black Night Mountain, a graceful body was soaking in the spring water. Her beautiful eyes stared fixedly at Ignia in the distance, wishing she could go out right now and pull out this bastardʼs tendons and peel off his skin. However, she was enduring it. She was still controlling herself.

”The plan is most important, the plan is most important...”

”As long as I wait a little longer, wait just a little longer, I will definitely be able to pull out Igniaʼs tendons and peel off his skin!”

Seleneʼs beautiful eyes carried some resentment as she lay in the hot spring, suppressing the anger in her heart.

”Heʼs here...”

At the same time, Evan, who was hidden in the dark, placed his hands behind his back and felt the scorched aura in the air. His eyes narrowed slightly.

”What an irritable fellow. He seems carved from the same mold as Igneel. He is truly his son!”

Irene stood beside Evan. Her delicate body was draped in a thin mage robe that did not affect her fighting. Beneath the mage robe was a tight-fitting outfit used for close combat. At this moment, she held a staff and wore a mage hat, dressed exactly like a mage who could only attack from a distance. If one only looked at her appearance, no one would be able to imagine that what Irene was best at was not ranged attacks, but close combat...

At this moment, Irene stood quietly beside Evan. Her pair of deep purple eyes looked into the distance. After noticing Ignia, the corners of her mouth rose slightly. In truth, she did not dislike people with straightforward personalities like Ignia, because the more straightforward someone was, the easier they were to control.

”Is that the Fire Dragon Kingʼs son?”

At this moment, August also held a staff and stood beside Evan. He narrowed his eyes, felt the magic power in the air, and nodded lightly.

”As expected of the Fire Dragon Kingʼs son. This flame magic far exceeds ordinary peopleʼs imagination!”

August gave Ignia extremely high praise. It could be said that among the people August had seen in his life, Igniaʼs flame magic could rank in the top three!

First was Evan, whose strength had already reached an unfathomable realm, and whose Dragon Slayer power was difficult to copy even with Augustʼs Copy Magic when he used it with all his strength and spat out heat breath.

Second was Igniaʼs father, Fire Dragon King Igneel...

And third was Ignia, who was currently releasing heat waves smugly!

”As expected of Igneelʼs son.”

Zerefʼs deep eyes looked at the scorching sun in the distance and nodded lightly. Indeed, the power Ignia was displaying right now was absolutely Dragon King-level. In Zerefʼs view, after Ignia joined them, they would have an extremely high chance of victory against Black Dragon King Acnologia!

Just as everyone hidden in the dark silently observed Ignia and gave their opinions...

That great sun finally arrived before Black Night Mountain...

”Selene, get out here!”

”Your Uncle Ignia is here!!”

Ignia transformed into human form and stood in the sky in the form of a young man. His hair was as deep as burning flames like Igneelʼs, his body was branded with black tattoos, and on his chest, over his heart, a scorching sun was branded just like Igneelʼs.

The moment Ignia arrived before Black Night Mountain, he roared at this sky, as though he did not place the master of this world, Moon Dragon God Selene, in his eyes at all.

”Ignia!!”

Following Igniaʼs roar, flames suddenly rose from the ground!

What answered Ignia was not Moon Dragon God Selene, but an equally scorching great sun!

”Hm?!”

Ignia felt the great sun attacking him and widened his eyes. Then the corners of his mouth rose slightly. He would not sense it wrong. The master of this great sun was his beloved father.

”Father!”

Ignia shouted with laughter toward the scorching flames.

”Mm!”

As Igniaʼs voice fell, the fire crow transformed into a middle-aged man. This middle-aged man bore some resemblance to Ignia. Even their heights seemed about the same.

”Father?”

This made Ignia a little stunned. The father before him was completely different from the tall appearance of his father in his imagination. How should one put it? At this moment, Ignia felt as though his filter had shattered.

”Iʼm using your younger brother Natsuʼs body, so I appear much smaller. Once I devour the power of those giant dragons, I will naturally grow to my peak period. At that time, I will be able to come out of your younger brotherʼs body with my full power and fight Acnologia to decide who between us is the true king of the dragon race!”

Igneel crossed his arms in front of himself. Honestly speaking, now that Ignia had already been tricked by them into the world of Elentear, he could completely lay his cards on the table with his foolish son. However, perhaps because Igneel was possessed by an actor spirit and wanted to enjoy acting, he stood before his foolish son Ignia with a serious face and spoke in a deep voice.

”Good!”

Hearing this, Ignia nodded vigorously. At this moment, his eyes burned with flames, and he was preparing to fight side by side with his father! Ignia had the perfect posture of a landlord familyʼs foolish son...

He did not think that the father he had been longing for would deceive his feelings. His mind was filled only with incomparable excitement over being able to fight side by side with his father.

”By the way, Father...”

”There is one thing I must remind you about!”

After Ignia sighed emotionally for a while, he seemed to think of something. He looked at his father with extremely solemn eyes and spoke in a deep voice.

”Oh? What matter?”

Igneel, who had been about to attack his good eldest son, put down his hand after hearing this and looked at Ignia as he asked.

”This world of Elentear does not only have those few giant dragons you have set your sights on...”

”This world belongs to Seleneʼs territory! Although that Selene is a bit of a b*tch, her strength is genuine! On the Northern Continent, Guiltina, she is called Moon Dragon God by countless mortals! Together with me, Fire Dragon God Ignia, Water Dragon God Mercphobia, Wood Dragon God Aldoron, and Gold Dragon God Viernes, we are collectively called the Five Dragon Gods! Of course, these are only the views of those mortals. Your sonʼs strength is far stronger than the other four God Dragons. I am an existence in a class of my own...”

Ignia was too filial. At this moment, he still did not forget to introduce the enemyʼs combat strength to his father, Fire Dragon King Igneel.

”Donʼt worry! Igneel, we donʼt need to worry about these things...”

Compared to the flustered Ignia, Igneel was much calmer. He placed his hands behind his back and smiled lightly at Ignia.

”Hm?!”

This made Ignia feel a trace of something wrong, but he did not detect exactly what was wrong. He only felt that his father Igneelʼs attitude toward him was very subtle. However, Ignia quickly stopped thinking too much. Fighting side by side with his father, the invincible Fire Dragon King from four hundred years ago, had always been his dream...

Now, this dream had finally come true...

”Ignia, prepare to attack! You and I, father and son, will join hands...”

”No matter who the enemy is, they absolutely cannot defeat us.”

Igneelʼs domineering aura leaked out. His aura rose, and his bearing was mighty.

”Father, let me take the lead!”

Ignia stopped Igneel, who was preparing to attack Black Night Mountain. Flames erupted from his body in clusters. The terrifying heat was enough to instantly evaporate the sea and melt heaven and earth.

”Let me smash open this b*tchʼs front gate for you!”

”After that, you and I, father and son, will enter the battle together. We will definitely defeat Selene, this b*tch! After you absorb Seleneʼs power, your strength will definitely recover to your peak period, and even surpass your peak period! At that time, what would a mere Black Dragon King Acnologia count for before you?!”

”As for now, just watch me! After all, you are currently using my younger brotherʼs body. The dragon power inside his body is too weak, not even enough to fully dragonize. Such a weak body cannot bring out your power at all, and once you want to use your full power, it will easily cause damage to this body. So now, itʼs better to watch me...”

As Ignia spoke, flames rose from his body. The terrifying heat wave made everything around him feel suffocated.

It had to be said, Ignia was truly too filial. Even now, he was still caring about his father, and even caring about that younger brother who had no blood relation to him, but inherited the same flame.

”Mm...”

Igneel looked at Ignia stopping him and nodded lightly, while placing his hands behind his back.

”Fire Dragon Godʼs...”

Ignia also did not waste words. His eyes stared tightly at Black Night Mountain before him while he adjusted the violent power inside his body. He planned to burn the peak before him to ashes in one breath...

However, just as Ignia was about to attack, a sudden change occurred...

”Roar!”

Accompanied by a dragonʼs roar, a beautiful nine-tailed divine fox rushed out from Black Night Mountain. The divine foxʼs nine tails covered the sky and blocked out the sun, and its entire body emitted golden moonlight!

At the same time, the moonlight that had originally been hidden by Igniaʼs great sun suddenly flourished! It was as though the full moon above everyoneʼs heads had become much larger than usual! Yes, Selene had used her special magic power to pull the moon down from outer space...

”Good timing...”

Ignia looked at Selene, who emitted beautiful golden light and fully displayed an elegant posture, and the corner of his mouth rose.

There was not the slightest cowardice in his heart. There was only the will to charge forward!

For a moment, the magic power inside Ignia became increasingly vigorous, reaching the peak of the power inside his body in an instant. The great sun above his head also constantly expanded, reaching the point where it could rival Seleneʼs moon!

However, just as Ignia was preparing to attack, a sudden change occurred. A burst of violent power exploded behind him.

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by a roar, Igniaʼs eyes were full of disbelief. However, before Ignia could understand, he had already been pushed by this exploding airflow and fell toward the ground...

”Why?!”

Ignia kept falling from the sky. He raised his head and looked at his tall and majestic father in the sky, his eyes revealing some confusion.

Through Igneelʼs currently burning arm, he could deduce that the person who had knocked him down was none other than his father. Moreover, through the reassuring and familiar scent on Igneelʼs body, he could confirm that this was his father himself, not a counterfeit impersonated by someone else...

But precisely because Ignia knew the person in the sky was not a counterfeit, he could not understand, and there was no clue in his eyes! However, Ignia knew very clearly that although the punch his father had struck him with made him feel pain, there was no dragon curse inside it. In other words, his father Igneel did not actually intend to kill him...

”Boom!!”

Just as Ignia was thinking, he had already fallen into the forest at the foot of Black Night Mountain. Ignia, who had fallen from several hundred meters in the air, directly smashed a large pit into the forest and burned countless surrounding trees into ashes.

”Rumble...”

At the same time, Igneel had already descended from the sky and stood beside the large pit.

”Why?”

Ignia rose from the pit. He looked at his father, his eyes filled with confusion.

”What why?”

Igneel felt Igniaʼs gaze and asked.

”Why did you attack me? Father, donʼt you plan to join hands with me?”

”Is that so? So thatʼs how it is. The reason you called me here was to first verify my strength, and then you planned to defeat Moon Dragon God Selene alone? As expected of the Fire Dragon King!”

Ignia first roared angrily at Igneel. Then he seemed to think of something, his eyes shook, and he spoke excitedly.

”No! Youʼre thinking too much. I wasnʼt thinking that at all...”

After hearing Igniaʼs words, Igneel shook his head. He expressed that his good eldest son had completely thought in the wrong direction.

”Then what is the reason?”

Ignia froze for a moment, then frowned.

”In truth, I was protecting you...”

Igneel looked at his foolish son and helplessly shook his head.

At the same time, that beautiful divine fox suddenly descended from the sky and arrived beside Ignia...

”Oh my~ You really are embarrassing, Ignia~”

In the blink of an eye, the divine fox transformed into a peerless beauty with a full figure, graceful posture, and every frown and smile showing charm!

This beauty wore a modified kimono and a miko hat, giving people a feeling where seductive charm and cold purity coexisted, sacred yet fallen, like a miko serving the Moon God, yet also like a witch tempting the Moon God into depravity...

This person was none other than Moon Dragon God Seleneʼs human form.

At this moment, Selene used her beautiful eyes to look at Ignia lying in the deep pit, full of smiles. She looked as though she were looking at a puppy abandoned by its owner, her beautiful eyes filled with pity.

”You bastard...”

”You actually seduced my father! Are you trying to use this to ride on my head?”

At this moment, Ignia was greatly shocked when he saw the scene before him!

The Igneel and Selene before him clearly knew each other, and judging from their posture, they seemed rather familiar...

Ignia combined this with Seleneʼs flirtatiousness and thought of something for a moment. Thus, a trace of panic flashed across his face!

He had never imagined that Selene, this b*tch dragon, would actually make a move on his father. In that case, did that not mean Selene was about to become his mother? Her position would suddenly be above his? He could not endure it! Absolutely could not endure it!

”Oh my~”

”I didnʼt expect your ability to make things up in your head to be quite impressive, Ignia~”

”Unfortunately, you guessed wrong...”

”I have no intention of seducing Igneel~”

”After all, Iʼm not interested in uncles~”

Selene looked at Ignia, whose expression was frightened, and chuckled softly.

”Then what exactly is going on?”

Ignia did not doubt it either. He believed Selene had no reason to deceive him...

But since Selene had not deceived him, then the problem arose! How exactly had his father Igneel become so familiar with Selene? Just as Ignia frowned and kept thinking...

Selene suddenly spoke!

”Everyone, you can come out now, right?”

Selene placed one hand on her waist and asked softly toward the clusters of dark clouds in the sky.

To be honest, Selene was also speechless toward Ignia. Today, the sky above Black Night Mountain was cloudless for ten thousand miles, and only the top of Black Night Mountain had a patch of dark clouds. Did Ignia not have any suspicion at all?!

”Hm?!”

Ignia lay in the deep pit. After hearing Seleneʼs words, his heart was shocked. He had not expected there to be other people around right now?!

”Boom!!”

However, before Ignia could think too much, accompanied by a burst of violent magic power descending from the sky, Evan, Irene, August, and Zeref landed one after another in front of Ignia.

”This is?!”

Ignia felt the enormous magic power inside the bodies of everyone before him. His pupils suddenly shrank, and endless panic arose in his heart.

”One, two...”

Igniaʼs expression was solemn. He felt a chilling sensation from Irene and Evan.

At this moment, the warning inside Igniaʼs heart kept roaring. Without a doubt, with Irene and Evanʼs strength, they could definitely pose an enormous threat to him! At the same time, Irene and Evanʼs identities were also very clear. In this world, there was only one kind of creature that could pose a threat to him, Ignia! Without even needing to think, one would know that Irene and Evan, like him, Ignia, were two Dragon King-level monsters...

”Where did the two of you jump out from? Why have I never heard that the dragon race had people like you?”

Ignia looked at Evan with a heavy expression and asked coldly.

”...”

Unfortunately, neither Evan nor Irene had any intention of answering Ignia.

This made Igniaʼs eyebrows raise, and a trace of faint anger arose in his heart, but he did not dare say anything...

Clearly, these two newly appeared Dragon King-level monsters knew Selene, and the three Dragon Kings were together! Ignia considered himself powerful, but he was not so arrogant that he thought he could defeat three Dragon Kings! Even his father, the invincible Igneel, definitely could not defeat three Dragon Kings working together...

”Boom!!”

However, this was not over yet. After Ignia questioned Evan and Irene, August and Zeref also erupted with surging magic power. For a moment, wave-like pressure surged toward Ignia...

”This is...”

”There are actually humans this powerful in this world?”

Ignia felt the magic power inside August and Zeref that was comparable to the ocean, and his pupils trembled. Just now, he had only paid attention to Irene and Evan, who emitted endless threat, and had ignored August and Zeref standing beside Irene and Evan. Now, as August and Zeref erupted with magic power, he discovered the strength of August and Zeref!

Although August and Zeref did not emit any dragon aura, in terms of quantity of magic power alone, whether it was August or Zeref, there was no doubt that they were Dragon King-level...

Ignia did not possess the same powerful magic immunity ability as Black Dragon King Acnologia, so to him, August and Zeref were also enormous threats, fully capable of being regarded as powerhouses of the same level!

”Damn it, Selene actually gathered so many powerful people to deal with me!”

”Right now, even if Father and I join hands, we absolutely cannot break out of this encirclement! This is troublesome...”

For a moment, Igniaʼs face revealed despair. Even if he joined hands with Igneel, he absolutely could not face five Dragon King-level powerhouses...

”And Father is also being threatened by these damn giant dragons, so he may not be able to use his full strength! Looks like I, Ignia, will have difficulty escaping death today...”

Yes, at this moment, Ignia still thought that his father was being threatened by these giant dragons, which was why he had attacked him! At the same time, Ignia had even imagined how these giant dragons led by Selene threatened his father...

Although his father Igneel was invincible in the world, he was not without weakness. That useless stinking younger brother Natsu was his father Igneelʼs greatest weakness!

”Hehe! Since I, Ignia, cannot escape death, then today, I will accomplish a great feat that no one in the dragon race has ever done! Today, I, Ignia, will fight three Dragon Kings and two human powerhouses who rival Dragon Kings alone!”

Ignia roared in his heart. Waves of violent magic power erupted from his body, and his entire person emitted a heaven-shaking aura.

”Father, hurry and take my younger brother away!”

”Today, leave these people who threaten you to me!”

”Today, I, Ignia, will surpass Black Dragon Acnologia and become a legend of the dragon race...”

Ignia shouted toward the sky, and his terrifying power rose higher and higher!

It seemed that Ignia had gained some insight and breakthrough between life and death. In the blink of an eye, Igniaʼs magic power even surpassed Igneelʼs...

”Ah!!”

As Ignia roared wildly, heaven and earth shook.

”Are you insane?”

However, before Ignia could attack, Igneel first raised his palm and swung it toward Igniaʼs direction, giving Ignia a huge slap.

”Smack~”

Accompanied by a soft sound, Ignia was directly dumbfounded in place. Along with Ignia, his steadily rising magic power was also dumbfounded. His magic power dispersed into space along with Igniaʼs scattered aura.

No one knew just how much damage a huge slap dealt to a giant dragon who had lived in this world for nearly five hundred years. Only Igniaʼs body trembled, and he felt incomparably wronged. He felt wronged in his heart!

”Huh?!”

Ignia pursed his lips, his expression carrying some grievance. His eyes flickered with sparkling light as he looked at Igneel in confusion. Ignia did not understand. He had already planned to risk his life for his father and younger brother, but not only did his father not appreciate it, he even hit him, and hit him in the form of a huge slap!

”Ignia, let me introduce them to you now. This is Evan Belserion, and this is Irene Belserion. They are Dragon Slayer Mages, but just like Acnologia, they were corroded by dragon power and transformed into giant dragons!”

”And this person is August, the Magic King standing at the peak of humanity. And this person, you should have seen him when you were little, but it looks like you have forgotten! His name is Zeref. He is the initiator of the Sleeping Dragon Plan that your father participated in! We are all Mages of Fairy Tail now.”

”Oh, right, there is also Moon Dragon God Selene. She is also currently a member of the Mage Guild Fairy Tail, and she is also your senior! The purpose of us looking for you here is only one thing, and that is to have you join us, so that we can defeat Black Dragon Acnologia together!”

Igneel directly laid his cards on the table with Ignia and told Ignia the whole plan.

”...”

Ignia fell silent after hearing this. His heart finally shattered at this moment. So the one who had trapped him was not anyone else at all, but his biological father, Igneel!

”What if I, Ignia, donʼt join?”

Ignia looked at Igneel and the others with somewhat rebellious eyes and asked.

”Oh? You wonʼt join?”

”Evan, what should we do if this brat doesnʼt want to join?”

”Thereʼs no other way! We can only use some rough methods.”

Hearing this, Igneel and Evan looked at each other. Immediately afterward, their bodies emitted cracking sounds of bones and muscles moving. Evan and the others had already begun warm-up exercises. Everything was said without words.

”Hehe!”

In response, Ignia sneered. Even if he, Ignia, was beaten to death by these people, he would absolutely not associate with these weak dragons! He would challenge Black Dragon King Acnologia alone and personally twist Acnologiaʼs neck, thereby inheriting Acnologiaʼs title of Dragon King!

”I advise you weakling giant dragons, who joined together because you fear Black Dragon King Acnologia, to go a little easy on me when you fight me later! After all, I am your son!”

Ignia raised his neck, stood tall with his chest out, and emitted endless domineering aura. He was like a warrior standing before Igneel and the others. After sweeping his cold eyes across every face of Evan and the others, Ignia finally raised the corner of his mouth, wore a disdainful expression, and used an incomparably arrogant tone to make a request of Igneel.
