Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 411: Evan: My Club Broke, So I Need a Good Weapon! Gajeel: 6!

”Boom!!”

Three days. Three days had already passed since Serena arrived at Fairy Tail.

During these three days, Serena had fought the guildʼs Mages one after another. Aside from Evan, Irene, Selene, Igneel possessing Natsu, and August, who could instantly kill him...

Serena had also encountered many evenly matched opponents within the Fairy Tail guild...

This made Serena very happy, but he had already reached his limit. After all, during these three days, he had not rested at all and had been fighting nonstop!

”N-No, I canʼt anymore...”

During these three days, Serena had been in pain and joy.

The reason Serena felt joy was because he discovered that the road ahead of him had not been blocked. The sky of this world was even higher than he had imagined.

The pain was because he discovered that Fairy Tail was filled with hidden dragons and crouching tigers. There were monsters everywhere inside. Within Fairy Tail, he actually could not even rank in the top five and could only barely possess top-ten combat strength...

”Continue! Serena! Why canʼt you do it anymore?”

Gildarts stood in front of Serena and shouted cheerfully at Serena, who had once again been knocked down by him.

”Iʼm not fighting anymore. I canʼt move you at all...”

Serenaʼs head was covered in black lines, and his eyes carried some helplessness.

Logically speaking, after fusing with eight Dragon Slayer Lacrima, he was not inferior to the man before him in terms of magic power at all. However, the problem was that his magic could not move Gildarts at all. Not only was Gildarts ridiculously tanky, that thoroughly tempered body of his seemed to have already developed resistance to Dragon Slayer Magic, and it was an extremely exaggerated resistance...

”Your fists and kicks are powerless, your fists and kicks are powerless...”

”Weak, far too weak...”

Gildarts looked at Serena, who was lying on the ground and unwilling to get up, with helplessness in his eyes.

He had finally encountered an opponent of the same tier, yet the other party was unwilling to fight him. This was truly a regret in his life~

”My fists are GOD powerful, alright?! Youʼre just too tanky. Iʼm actually confused. Just how did you train that body of yours to possess such exaggerated resistance?”

Serenaʼs head was covered in black lines. He leaped up from the ground and roared at Gildarts.

”Hehe, youʼre asking me what method I relied on to train such a powerful physique?”

”You cannot understand. People can never truly empathize with each other...”

Gildarts sneered, then raised his head forty-five degrees toward the sky.

If one looked carefully at the corners of Gildartsʼs eyes, one could see that his eyes seemed to have faint tears flickering...

Seven years had already passed since Evan joined the Fairy Tail guild. Who knew how he had survived these seven years?

Every day, he sparred with Dragon King-level monsters. If he had not stacked his resistance to the max, he would have died long ago...

Perhaps Serena became stronger simply because he wanted to become a powerful person...

However, for him, Gildarts, if he did not become stronger, then he would die...

According to the original timeline, the current Gildarts should have already tempered his strength to the peak, stood at the summit of the entire continent of Ishgar, and reached a level where he could advance no further.

At the same time, whether S-Class Jobs or SS-Class Jobs, they would already have made Gildarts feel bored and unable to arouse any passion! Even Ten-Year Jobs, which were above S-Class and SS-Class and which no one had completed in ten years, could no longer stir any interest in him! Thus, he accepted a 100-Year Job that no one had completed in one hundred years and tried to subjugate the God Dragons!

Then Gildarts encountered little Black and had half his body blown away by little Black...

Then, when Gildarts appeared again, he fought through the later plot with a half-crippled body...

But the current Gildarts was different. He had long since known how vast this world was and had seen just how high this sky truly was! Under the sparring of the two Dragon Kings, Wise Dragon Irene and Moon Dragon God Selene, the current Gildartsʼs strength had even surpassed his peak in the original work. The current Gildarts had already reached a level where he could exchange blows with Magic King August! Of course, August had to slightly hold back...

”It seems you also have many stories!”

Serena looked at Gildarts, whose face was full of vicissitudes and whose cheeks were written with stories, and sighed emotionally.

”But Gildarts, just wait! I will become super strong, until I become the true GOD Serena!”

Serena was still a hot-blooded youth after all. He quickly revived on the spot and shouted passionately at Gildarts.

”Haha...”

”Then work hard and become stronger!”

Gildarts could see the astonishing potential in Serena.

Gildarts had always believed that given enough time, Serena would definitely grow into one of the people standing at the peak of the continent of Ishgar. Of course, Gildarts automatically excluded Evan, August, Irene, Selene, and Fire Dragon King Igneel, who was sealed inside Natsu...

Evan and the others were monsters. That was not a level one could reach through hard work alone!

”Letʼs go back to the guild~”

For a moment, Gildarts was too lazy to continue fighting Serena, so he spoke to Serena.

”Alright...”

Serena nodded lightly. After fighting continuously for three days, he now only wanted to rest properly.

At the same time...

A rare guest arrived at the Fairy Tail guild.

Among the crowd, a bald man without a single strand of hair on his head was sitting beside Makarov, the Guild Master.

”Senior Makarov! I didnʼt come to find you today for anything else! It is precisely for the matter of the man who defeated me!”

”I think you should have heard of it as well, right? The one being talked about everywhere now, the guy who continuously challenged the Ten Wizard Saints and is called the Ten Wizard Saints hunter by the world...”

This bald man was none other than Jura, who ranked last among the Ten Wizard Saints. At this moment, his entire body was wrapped in bandages. He sat beside Makarov with his brows tightly furrowed.

”Oh, I know him...”

Makarov sat at the bar. He had thought Jura came looking for him because of a Ten Wizard Saints meeting~

In the end, it was about the Ten Wizard Saints hunter...

”Since you already know about this matter! Then I wonʼt beat around the bush. The guy who defeated me calls himself God Serena!”

”This Serenaʼs strength is quite extraordinary! He has already defeated me, the last-ranked Saint, Jose of the ninth seat, and Jellal of the eighth seat in succession! Without a doubt, he possesses powerful strength far surpassing an ordinary Ten Wizard Saint.”

”And according to my speculation, based on his challenge order, the next person he should challenge is you, who are in the seventh seat of the Ten Wizard Saints.”

Juraʼs brows were tightly furrowed, and his gaze was extremely serious. At this moment, Jura no longer had his usual gentleness. There was only worry in his eyes.

”Is that so?! So his next target was me?”

Makarovʼs expression was greatly shocked. This was something he had not expected. He had always thought Serena had come looking for Evan. In that case, he had actually saved his own life and almost embarrassed himself in front of the children...

In response, Makarov gave a like to his own wit. As expected, when someone came to kick down the door, he had to leave it to the young people to handle. He, Makarov, was old after all...

”Yes! Actually, as early as three days ago, which was the third day after I exchanged blows with Serena, when I woke up in the hospital ward, I had Granny Ooba send you a message.”

”However, Granny said you never responded to her. That made my heart tighten. I even thought you had already suffered his poisonous hands?! So during these days in the hospital ward, I have been waiting anxiously for any news to spread. After all, the defeat of a Saint cannot be hidden...”

Jura nodded lightly, indicating that this was exactly the case.

”Ah...”

After hearing Juraʼs words, Makarovʼs expression became a little awkward. He had indeed not expected that his refusal to answer Oobaʼs communication would make Jura this worried. In truth, the reason he did not answer Oobaʼs communication was simply because he disliked Ooba for being old, ugly, and especially long-winded. If it had been a young and pretty little girl instead, he definitely would have answered the communication.

This showed that Jura and Ooba still did not understand him very well...

”Fortunately, during the three days I rested in the hospital ward, I did not hear any rumors about you being defeated. However, I was still somewhat uneasy, so after my injuries stabilized, I immediately rushed over.”

”Now that I see you unharmed, my heart is much more at ease. However, I still hope you will be slightly wary of this guy named Serena. His strength is indeed far above ours!”

”At the same time, I hope you understand that if the Ten Wizard Saints continue to be defeated, I fear it will bring a negative impact to the entire magic world of Ishgar, and at the same time stir up a huge storm, making society increasingly unstable.”

Before Makarov could say anything else, Jura continued speaking to Makarov. His words faintly carried worry about the Serena incident.

Jura was not bearing a grudge because he had lost to Serena. A loss was a loss. It was merely that his skill was inferior! Moreover, Jura had never taken his identity as one of the Ten Wizard Saints seriously. He had never believed that just because the Magic Council said he was one of the top ten Mages on this continent, he truly was the tenth strongest on the continent! Compared to the identity and glory of the Ten Wizard Saints, what Jura saw more was the responsibility of the Ten Wizard Saints.

Besides, Jura knew very clearly just how high this sky truly was. At the same time, Jura, who often went to the Council and was relatively close to the two elder members of the Fairy Tail guild, Warrod and Precht, clearly knew that this continent was filled with hidden dragons and crouching tigers! There were countless experts who had all hidden themselves without revealing themselves! Putting aside the unfathomable Fairy Tail, even Bluenote, the vice president of Grimoire Heart, possessed strength above his...

Therefore, Jura did not develop any emotions because he had lost to Serena. Besides, challenges between each other were common in the magic world!

What truly made Jura afraid was that Serenaʼs method of challenging was wrong. Serena had attacked a prison and had also suddenly attacked other Ten Wizard Saints while they were doing jobs. His conduct was extremely vile...

At the same time, after Serena caused such a commotion, it was as if all the Ten Wizard Saints were fakes! As if anyone could easily defeat them! At that time, the credibility of the Ten Wizard Saints ranking selected by the Magic Council would have the possibility of collapsing. When the time came, there would definitely be many busybodies who would seize this opportunity to cause trouble. In that case, it would be extremely unfavorable to the stability of Ishgarʼs magic world.

”I understand. You donʼt need to worry about this matter anymore~”

Makarov nodded lightly, expressing that he already understood the matter Jura was talking about. At the same time, Makarov also expressed that Jura did not need to worry about this matter anymore. He could just leave it to him.

”Senior Makarov, I think you still havenʼt understood where the problem lies in this matter...”

Jura sighed. He felt that Makarov was still underestimating Serenaʼs strength.

That terrifying power of Serenaʼs, which instantly killed him, in Juraʼs view, was something probably few among the Ten Wizard Saints could achieve. If they did not stop Serena early and continued allowing Serena to openly attack the Ten Wizard Saints like this, who knew to what extent public opinion would ferment in the end?!

”Itʼs fine...”

After hearing Juraʼs words, Makarov shook his head and looked calm and composed, sitting calmly in his seat.

”Senior Makarov...”

Jura looked at Makarovʼs appearance and frowned, planning to say something else.

”Pa~”

Just as Jura was about to speak, the doors of the Fairy Tail guild were suddenly pushed open...

Immediately afterward, Serena and Gildarts walked into the guild with their arms around each otherʼs shoulders.

”Today, we brothers wonʼt return until weʼre drunk...”

It seemed that Serena and Gildarts had talked a lot more on their way back. Just one look showed that the two of them had gotten excited from chatting.

”Yo~ Serena, Gildarts, youʼre back~”

Makarov sat at the guild bar and greeted the two returning people with a cheerful smile.

”Mm! Guild Master, weʼre back...”

Hearing this, Serena and Gildarts waved at Makarov at the same time.

”This is...”

At the same time, Jura, who was sitting beside Makarov, looked at Serena, who had his arm around Gildartsʼs shoulder and was wearing a trench coat printed with the Fairy Tail emblem. His pupils trembled.

”So thatʼs how it is. I was wondering why you werenʼt worried about that Ten Wizard Saints killer?”

Jura looked at Serenaʼs Fairy Tail-produced peripheral trench coat, then looked at the Fairy Tail guild emblem printed on the back of Serenaʼs left hand and smiled awkwardly. In this brief instant, Jura had already understood everything.

Yes, if that Ten Wizard Saints hunter had already joined the Mage Guild Fairy Tail, then Makarov indeed had no need to worry...

No, perhaps that Serena had been a Fairy Tail Mage from the very beginning. If that were really the case, then everything seemed to become reasonable!

Including Serenaʼs extremely abnormal mental state, and his incomprehensible and inexplicable behavior of saying GOD this and GOD that. At this moment, it all made sense.

After all, among Mages of Fairy Tail, how many had normal mental states?!

”Jura, who did you just tell me to worry about?”

After greeting Serena, Makarov turned sideways and asked Jura beside him.

”Uh, this, please just pretend I didnʼt say anything...”

Jura pursed his lips. What else could he say now?! The enemy he had been anxious about for nearly a week, even while unconscious, had already become someone elseʼs little brother...

Since things had already reached this point, what else was there for him to say?

”Mm! Come to Fairy Tail more often in the future to train. Interact more with our guildʼs S-Class Mages. It will benefit you!”

Makarov looked at Jura, whose face was pale and who kept smiling bitterly, and the corner of his mouth rose. Although Juraʼs worries were a little unnecessary, Jura himself was not bad. Moreover, Jura was able to think of reminding someone outside his own guild, which showed that Jura was indeed honest, sincere, and a good person. In response, Makarov looked at Jura and spoke softly.

”Hm?!”

”I understand! Thank you for your help, Senior Makarov...”

Jura, who had originally been smiling bitterly, had his eyes light up after hearing Makarovʼs words. He knew Makarov intended to guide him. After all, the Fairy Tail guild was filled with experts like clouds, and there were far too many people who could help him improve!

Did he not see that even Serena, who seemed almost invincible to him, was obediently staying in the guild?!

Now that Makarov had said this, when he, Jura, came to the Fairy Tail guild in the future, it was equivalent to having a certificate. In the future, no one would stop him from coming to Fairy Tail...

Moreover, Jura also heard the hidden meaning in Makarovʼs words. What Makarov said was that he should interact more with the S-Class Mages of the Fairy Tail guild, and that it would benefit him. Did that not mean that the S-Class Mages of the Fairy Tail guild, on average, possessed strength comparable to him, or even above him?!

When Jura thought about the fact that Fairy Tail publicly claimed to have more than ten S-Class Mages, he could not help shivering. Perhaps the Mage Guild Fairy Tail was even more powerful than outsiders imagined...

On the other side...

At the back mountain of the Fairy Tail guild, Evan was currently troubled by an extremely important matter.

A long time had already passed since his battle with Irene, but there was an extremely serious problem that Evan still had not solved! During Evanʼs battle with Irene, his beloved weapon, the spiked club he used to help others quit their king addiction, had shattered! Clearly, that club simply could not bear Evanʼs LV15 Dragon Power!

Moreover, as Evanʼs output continued to rise, reaching the unprecedented LV16, the spiked club that Evan had given the Immortal attribute to found it even harder to bear Evanʼs strong and powerful strength. This left Evan troubled for a time...

”It seems I also need a qualified weapon.”

Evan frowned tightly and muttered to himself.

”Rustle...”

Just as Evan was muttering, accompanied by the sound of leaves rubbing together, Erza walked out from the bushes in front of Evan.

”Hm?”

Evan froze slightly as he looked at Erza walking toward him. His puzzled gaze seemed to be asking Erza, why are you here?!

”Brother Evan, I heard your trouble just now!”

Erza stood in front of Evan, puffing out her upright chest, one hand on her waist, her expression proud, as if she was thinking of something happy.

”So you heard it all? Just as you said, I really do need a good weapon right now...”

After hearing Erzaʼs words, Evan nodded lightly and did not hide anything.

”Hehe...”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Erza laughed. A brilliant light flickered in her eyes.

”Brother Evan, speaking of weapons, I have a peerless weapon Iʼd like to introduce to you~”

As Erza spoke, she raised her thumb, looking as though she herself had used it and said it was good.

”Oh?”

Evanʼs eyes lit up. Erza was the weapon master of Fairy Tail, and even of the entire continent of Ishgar. Perhaps Erza really did have some rare weapon suitable for him.

”Weapon, come!”

Just as Evan was thinking, Erza suddenly raised her right hand and pointed at the sky. At the same time, she shouted loudly.

”Zzzzz...”

Accompanied by the powerful magnetic force erupting from Erzaʼs body, something seemed to be attracted by Erza.

At the same time, inside the Fairy Tail guild...

”Gajeel, do you want to team up with me?”

A girl with short blue hair invited Gajeel, who was sitting behind the bar while holding a huge iron pillar and constantly gnawing on it.

”Hm?”

Hearing this, Gajeel put down the iron rod in his hand, turned around, and looked at the girl before him whose front was incomparably flat. His eyes showed no interest at all.

”Sorry, Iʼm used to acting alone!”

Immediately afterward, Gajeel bluntly rejected the girl.

”Uh! I failed again...”

Hearing this, the girlʼs expression carried undisguised disappointment.

”Levy-chan~”

Inside the guild, not far from the girl, two defeated dogs let out mournful cries. They could not understand why the girl would like a delinquent like Gajeel. Clearly, both of them were completely sincere toward Levy.

However, what made these two simps the angriest was that Levy-chan was already being this polite, yet Gajeel still did not know to agree. He was simply failing to appreciate kindness!

”Tch~”

Gajeel opened one eye and closed the other. He saw everything happening in the guild, and he understood it all clearly. It was not that he did not like Levy or did not want to team up with Levy. He was just too lazy to get involved in the guildʼs troublesome matters.

”Buzz!”

Just as Gajeel was planning to leave the guild and do a job, his expression suddenly shook.

”Donʼt tell me?”

Countless beads of sweat suddenly seeped out of Gajeelʼs forehead.

”This feeling canʼt be wrong. Itʼs that guy, that female demon...”

Gajeelʼs expression was greatly shocked. His eyes carried terror. He kept resisting, but unfortunately, his resistance was far too weak and powerless.

”Boom!”

In an instant, Gajeel, whose resistance was ineffective, soared into the air, transforming into a flying sword. He smashed through the ceiling of the Fairy Tail guild and flew toward the back mountain of the Fairy Tail guild.

”Gajeel flew?!”

Inside the guild, Levy, who watched Gajeel suddenly rise into the air, widened her eyes, then revealed a few traces of intoxication.

”Not only can Gajeel sing rock, play guitar, and gnaw on iron in public, he can also fly freely. Heʼs so cool...”

Levyʼs expression was intoxicated as she spoke softly.

Clearly, after staying in the Fairy Tail guild for a long time, the girlʼs mental state was also worrying...

”Could this girl have some misunderstanding about that guy Gajeel?”

Leaning against the railing on the second floor of the guild, Laxus turned sideways and looked at Levy below, raising an eyebrow.

”Forget it. I still wonʼt destroy Levyʼs beautiful fantasy...”

After thinking about it, Laxus planned to be a good person and not expose Levyʼs beautiful fantasy about Gajeel.

”Whoosh!!”

”Boom!”

At the same time, on the back mountain of the Fairy Tail guild...

Accompanied by a sound of tearing through the air, Gajeel was like a flying sword, cutting across the sky before finally crashing in front of Evan and Erza!

With a thunderous sound from the sky, Gajeel Flying Sword made a magnificent entrance!
