Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Fairy Tail Collapsing Stars Chapter 279

“Is Irene really that powerful?”

Evan was shocked to see the immense magical power erupting from Irene. Perhaps because Evan had grown up with Irene, he subconsciously forgot an important fact.

Irene was one of the most formidable beings standing at the pinnacle of this world!

“Your son?”

Selene’s pupils trembled as she sensed Irene’s enormous magic, and then she smiled slightly, licking her lips with her delicate pink tongue. Meanwhile, her nine fluffy tails swayed seductively, displaying her enchanting charm.

“Do you know? Sons are meant to be given to other women…”

“Instead of wasting him on someone else, why not give him to me? I promise to take good care of your son~”

“Oh, and thank you for raising him so well. After I savor his taste, I won’t forget to share with you~”

Selene approached Irene, her eyes carrying a hint of provocation. Despite Irene’s strength, it seemed Selene had no intention of changing her mind.

No, on the contrary, because Irene was so powerful, Selene was even more determined to take Evan from her. She enjoyed seeing strong women, especially those as powerful as Irene, show signs of defeat in front of her!

“You have quite the nerve! Heh, be careful, or I’ll rip that mouth of yours apart~”

Irene’s eyes narrowed upon hearing Selene’s words. Her aura grew even stronger. As Irene’s magic and aura surged, the entire sky darkened, and the air became thick with magic.

“If you have the skill, go ahead~”

Selene seemed unafraid of Irene. Perhaps because Irene was the only woman she had encountered in this world who could match her, Selene’s desire to win skyrocketed. She wanted to see Irene lose to her and show an ugly face of defeat. At this moment, Selene’s eyes burned with battle intent.

“Today, Evan is mine, and no one can stop me, I say!”

“I’ll see if you can protect your precious son…”

With that, Selene unleashed her own formidable aura and magic, clashing with Irene’s magic.

As Selene’s and Irene’s magic collided, it felt like the sky was about to crack and the earth was screaming in agony!

In an instant, the colors of the world seemed to change due to the clash of their magic. Selene’s magic dyed one half of the sky a pale gold, like moonlight, while the other half was a vibrant crimson, like Irene’s beautiful hair.

The two colors of magic fought for control of the sky, painting the world in their respective hues…

“So strong! Far beyond me.”

Evan stood behind Irene, trembling as he felt the overwhelming magic of Irene and Selene. Whether it was Irene or Selene, their magic was far beyond Evan’s imagination! He had to admit, he had underestimated the top-tier power in this world…

Neither Irene nor Selene were on the same level as him.

“Evan…”

As Evan was awestruck by Irene and Selene’s magic, Irene, who was shielding him, spoke up.

“Irene.”

Evan responded immediately upon hearing Irene call his name.

“Remember, when dealing with this b*tch, you need to hit her hard!”

Irene gave Evan a gentle smile, even while facing a formidable foe, she didn’t forget to educate him…

The moment Irene finished speaking, she transformed into a crimson flash, appearing in front of Selene and swinging a hand towards her beautiful face.

“Slap~”

Selene hadn’t expected Irene’s sudden move and took the slap directly.

“Damn woman…”

Selene felt the burning pain on her cheek, her pupils trembled. She touched her swollen cheek, her eyes growing sharper, and flames of fury burning within her beautiful eyes.

Women, especially beautiful women, couldn’t tolerate being slapped in the face…

“Oh my, your current look suits you very well~”

Irene’s long eyelashes fluttered as she looked at the swollen-faced Selene, a teasing smile on her lips.

“Interesting! I’ll return this slap…”

Selene wiped the blood from her lips, and her nine fluffy tails rose to the sky, attacking Irene from all directions.

“Foolish~”

Irene dodged Selene’s attack with a spatial displacement spell, that appeared above her.

“So fast…”

Selene missed her target and looked up to see Irene floating above her, feeling the intense magic within her.

“Enchantment: Scorching!!”

Irene smiled at Selene, lightly waving her staff.

“Boom!!”

A massive fireball, over a kilometer in diameter, descended upon Selene.

“Ah!!”

Selene screamed sharply as Irene’s attack sent her crashing into the ground…

“So strong…”

Evan was stunned by the fierce magic. Compared to Irene’s Scorching Enchantment, his own seemed like a tiny spark.

“Evan, did you see that? As a young man, you must protect yourself outside. When you encounter a bad woman, strike hard and show no mercy~”

Irene smiled at Evan, who was trembling with cold sweat, nodding vigorously.

“Got it, got it!”

Evan kept nodding, a picture of compliance and understanding, not daring to contradict anything Irene said.

“Oh my, I’m glad you understand~”

“Now, go hide in that cloud over there and meet up with that old man. Find a safe place and wait until I’ve dealt with this b*tch, then I’ll come find you~”

Irene pointed to a nearby cloud, smiling gently at Evan.

“Old man?”

Evan turned to look at the cloud, and as he focused, the cloud transformed into the face of an elderly man.

Evan’s expression froze, recognizing the face. He paused, then blurted out, “So August has been here all along?”

“It seems that old man is a friend of yours~”

Irene noticed Evan’s reaction and knew that the old man hiding in the cloud was indeed one of Evan’s helpers.

“Yes.”

Evan nodded lightly, confirming that August was indeed his acquaintance and helper.

At the same time, Evan thought that if August was already here, Zeref might be nearby too…

Perhaps August and Zeref had already arrived in Elentear, but both had the ability to avoid his detection…

“Boom!!”

As Evan pondered, the ground where Selene had fallen began to crack. With nine tails waving, a gigantic divine fox roared and stood up from the ground!

It was Selene, transformed back into her dragon form!!

After a brief clash with Irene, Selene realized that Irene was no ordinary opponent. She wasn’t someone Selene could handle in her humanoid form…

She had to go all out in her dragon form to defeat Irene!

“That b*tch dragon is losing it. I need to fight her with everything I’ve got. Evan, go hide and wait for my good news…”

Irene’s expression grew serious as she turned to Evan.

“I understand.”

Evan felt Selene’s immense power and knew he couldn’t help Irene. He would only be a burden. He needed to find a safe place, not let Irene worry, and allow her to fight with all her strength!

“Irene, take care. If you can’t win, run. Don’t worry about me, I have backup…”

Evan instructed Irene, then transformed into black light, flying towards the cloud with August’s face.

“What kind of backup do you have? Going to have children with that b*tch dragon?”

“You’re a strong child. Relying on me a bit is fine, after all, I am your mother!”

Irene watched Evan disappear, her eyes softening with an incredibly gentle look.

“Now, it’s time to deal with you.”

Irene turned to Selene, who had entered her dragon form.

As Selene’s battle power soared, Irene also transformed…

Transparent scales appeared on Irene’s beautiful face, her limbs grew stronger, and the overwhelming dragon power was condensed in her small body.

Around her body, crimson clouds like ribbons floated, similar to Evan’s awakening state.

At this moment, Irene resembled a celestial maiden from the heavens, like a deity high above!

“There’s a story widely told in Ishgar. Long ago, on Mount Zonia in the northern part of Fiore, two celestial maidens, black and white, fought fiercely over a man. The victorious maiden dyed the peak white and won the man. It’s very similar to our current situation…”

“Maybe centuries from now, Elentear will have a beautiful myth. People will sing of a story where a beautiful and sacred scarlet celestial maiden descended from heaven to fight a hideous moon dragon over a man. Ultimately, the celestial maiden easily defeated the dragon, took over Black Night Mountain, and protected the man from being tainted by the dragon~”

“Selene, don’t you think my story is interesting?”

Irene stood in the sky, holding her staff, her eyes flashing crimson lightning, looking down coldly at the platinum-colored beautiful divine fox.

“The story is nice, but you got one thing wrong…”

“The ending is clearly the elegant Moon Dragon God defeating the scarlet demon from hell, protecting Elentear and the man she desires~”

Selene’s face turned ferocious as she looked at Irene, laughing coldly.

“Hmph!!”

Both Irene and Selene’s expressions turned cold simultaneously, and a killing intent spread between them!

“Moon Dragon’s…”

“Sage Dragon’s…”

“Roar!!!”

As their magic gathered towards each other, the sky and earth seemed to form two massive vortexes. Irene and Selene swallowed endless magic and released it towards each other.

As the Sage Dragon’s roar and the Moon Dragon’s roar collided!

The sky, earth

their roars seemed to annihilate space, time, magic, souls, and the world of Elentear!
The sky shattered, clouds were torn apart…

Mountains, soil, rocks, and trees on the ground were all lifted, and destroyed! Annihilated!!

At this moment, everything mourned…

Just like Evan’s arrival caused Elentear’s magic to surge, awakening Alta Face from the depths of the earth.

“Boom!”

With a roar, a giant hand suddenly emerged from the scorching earth.

“Foolish beings, be purified!”

The giant hand spoke, radiating violent magic! As Irene and Selene’s magic clashed, Alta Face awakened naturally, breaking through the earth. He saw an astonishing scene, causing his words to stop…

The sky was shattered…

Selene’s magic failed to maintain the sky, resulting in half being night with a moon, and half being noon with a blazing sun. The moon and sun clashed, causing the sky to appear fractured. The ground was barren, the once dark forest now charred, lifeless, filled with endless destruction…

“Huff, huff, huff…”

In the sky, the scarlet celestial maiden and the slightly fatigued beautiful divine dragon noticed the gigantic arm, pausing their actions.

“Who are you?”

The celestial maiden and the dragon asked Alta Face softly.

Their voices were like heavenly music, making any male feel comfortable and elated…

However, Alta Face didn’t think so. Staring at the celestial maiden and the moon dragon, he was silent. Originally planning to purify the world, Alta Face wanted to retreat underground. The surface was too dangerous; the underground suited him better.

“Why don’t you continue?”

Alta Face spoke after a moment, trying to withdraw his arm.

“Boom!”

Before Alta Face could say more, two beams of light shot towards him. One scorching, like crimson satin, the other cold, like pure moonlight…

In an instant, Alta Face’s arm shattered!

But it wasn’t over! As Irene and Selene simultaneously attacked Alta Face, the entire Elentear’s surface saw all giant hands stop and then be obliterated!

Like towering pillars, the giant hands annoyed the celestial maiden and moon dragon, turning into beautiful fireworks and then dust!

In the land of White Annihilation…

The shrine, home to the White Annihilation Maidens trained to fight Alta Face’s hands, received news that the hands had all been destroyed!

At the dojo of White Annihilation Shrine…

An elderly woman with white hair sat before a broken statue.

“Heaven has mercy! The hands that plagued us for generations are finally gone…”

The elderly woman, the highest maiden of White Annihilation, prayed with tears.

But she didn’t know that it wasn’t heaven or gods protecting them. It was because Alta Face mistakenly intruded on a battle between a celestial maiden and a dragon over a man…

Underground…

Alta Face was silent. The giant hands he had accumulated over the years were gone, leaving only an oval pillar and a face.

Yes, the world hurt by Alta Face was born…
