My Youth Began With Him

When Huo Yanyan lost her mind and drove the car over, the douchebag immediately dodged and almost got hit by the car.

“Madwoman, you’re fu*king crazy,” the man yelled from the back as he watched Huo Yanyan drive away…

If she wasn’t in a rush to save the kid, she really had to give this man a lesson.

After pondering for a while, Huo Yanyan still decided to ask Shen Mingxi for help because he was her man after all.

-At the entrance of the Shen Corporation –

“Welcome, Miss Huo.” Shen Mingxi’s secretary was very polite to Huo Yanyan upon seeing her.

“Is Mr. Shen here?”

“He’s in the small meeting room. Would you like me to inform him that you are here?”

“Yes, please. It’s something urgent.” Huo Yanyan was very anxious.

“Okay, I’ll inform him right away.”

Upon receiving the secretary’s message, Shen Mingxi left the client and walked out worriedly.

“Yanyan, what are you so worried about?”

“I tried to call you. Why did you turn off your cell phone?” Huo Yanyan’s eyes welled with tears as she said.

“My cell phone ran out of battery, and I didn’t have time to charge it. A client came just now. What’s the matter?” Shen Mingxi held Huo Yanyan’s shoulder as they walked inside the office and supported her to sit on the sofa.

“Mingxi, Tiantian was… taken away by Huo Siqian.”

“What?” Shen Mingxi paused as well upon hearing this.

“What should I do? Can you think of a way to save her quickly? Did Huo Siqian investigate us and want to retaliate against me…? I can’t lose Tiantian. Please help me…” Huo Yanyan lost her calm and began to cry.

“Stop crying, Yanyan. Tell me what happened slowly.”

“I went to… pick up the child after school and didn’t see her. I asked the teacher, and the teacher said someone already picked her up and said he’s the uncle. You know that Huo Siqian is good at pretending. The teachers definitely didn’t suspect a prestigious person with the same last name as me and let him take the kid away. I tried calling Huo Siqian, but he’s not picking up. He did it on purpose. Do you think he will kill Tiantian?” Huo Yanyan described the course of the event intermittently while crying at the same time.

Shen Mingxi listened and understood what was happening.

“Huo Siqian is so despicable. He kidnapped the kid?” Shen Mingxi frowned.

“Mingxi, what should we do now? Should we call the police?”

“Calling the police won’t work. Let’s go and find him.”

Shen Mingxi took out his jacket, walked outside, and dragged Huo Yanyan to get in the car.

He had his subordinates check the current location of Huo Siqian and found that Huo Siqian was having afternoon tea at the Kempinski Hotel.

The two of them drove and arrived at the hotel in haste.

Huo Siqian was indeed sitting by the window and drinking tea leisurely.

Yet, he was alone, and there was no sign of a child.

“Huo Siqian, where’s my daughter?” Huo Yanyan walked over and asked agitatedly.

“What are you talking about? How do I know where your daughter is?” Huo Siqian laughed.

“Stop pretending. The teacher in the kindergarten said you took my kid. If you don’t hand her to me, I’ll call the police.” “Call the police? Ha, great, do it. Let’s see if calling the police is useful,” Huo Siqian sneered.

“President Huo… even if there’s a misunderstanding between you and Yanyan, you shouldn’t implicate the kid. As a man, your means of dealing with things shouldn’t be so despicable,” Shen Mingxi coldly said while looking at Huo Siqian.

“Despicable? You gotta be kidding me… President Shen pretends to cooperate with me and incriminates me at the same time. Is that what you call an honorable gesture?” Huo Siqian raised his eyebrows and looked at Shen Mingxi.

At that moment, Shen Mingxi exchanged a look with Huo Yanyan. It seemed like Huo Siqian knew about everything.

“Huo Siqian, what do you want? My kid doesn’t know anything. She’s innocent. Don’t overdo it!” Huo Yanyan yelled.

“Huo Yanyan, watch your fu*king manners. Do you believe that I can let your daughter die on the street in any second?” Huo Siqian said word by word.
