Global Lords: I Have Information System

Nowadays, I hope people can remember what life was like before the pandemic—how you could take a shortcut through this neighborhood or use the restroom in that office building without anyone stopping you. People must not forget what normal society looks like, and I hope these days can reappear soon.

I also hope that after experiencing the pandemic, people can understand some truths. Dignity that isn’t questioned or belittled is precious, and the freedom of human activity is wonderful.

Not like now, where wanting to have these might require 5 million. According to China Weather Network, while the last wave of strong cold air has ”curtained down,” a new wave is on the way starting today (October 19). It is expected that in the next three days, many areas in Inner Mongolia will see wind and snow again, with localized light snow or sleet in the central and eastern parts, and temperatures will drop into a low state once more.

Yesterday, most regions in Inner Mongolia had sunshine, and the temperature significantly rose compared to last weekend. Monitoring showed that the highest temperature in the city area of the capital Hohhot reached 14.9℃ yesterday, an increase of 7.3℃ compared to the highest temperature of 7.6℃ on the 16th.

However, with the arrival of a new wave of cold air, the warming trend in Inner Mongolia came to an abrupt end. According to the latest monitoring, as of 7:00 this morning, the lowest temperature in the capital city of Hohhot was -5.8℃, a drop of 7.5℃ compared to 1.7℃ at the same time yesterday.

Affected by cold air, it is expected that during the day, the highest temperatures in most parts of Inner Mongolia will drop by about 3℃ compared to yesterday, with the capital city of Hohhot only reaching a maximum of 11℃ today.

Tomorrow, southeastern parts of western Inner Mongolia and southwestern parts of central Inner Mongolia will change from cloudy to sunny, northeastern parts will turn from sunny to cloudy, Ordos City’s easternmost and southernmost parts of Hohhot will have light rain, the northwestern parts of western Hulunber City will have light snow or sleet, and the rest will be mostly sunny with periods of clouds.

The day after tomorrow, it will be mostly cloudy with periods of sunshine in the central eastern and southeastern regions of Inner Mongolia, with sleet in the northeastern parts of Xilingol Alliance and northern parts of Chifeng City, and the rest mostly sunny with periods of clouds; there will be easterly winds at levels 4-5 in the westernmost parts, and northwesterly winds at levels 4, 5 in the central east and southeastern parts.

Meteorologists remind that, affected by the new wave of cold air, temperatures in Inner Mongolia will enter a low state again in the next three days, and the public must add clothing in time to prevent catching cold and flu. Meanwhile, wind and snow will ”come online” in the eastern central and eastern parts, and the public needs to be cautious about the adverse effects of rain and snow on life travel, agriculture, and animal husbandry.

International Online Special Report: Shenzhou-13 successfully launched, with the ”space business trip trio” consisting of Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu will perform a six-month space mission, starting a new journey of China’s space exploration. Wang Yaping becomes the first female astronaut to enter the Chinese space station and the first Chinese female astronaut to perform a spacewalk. In this regard, overseas media and overseas social media users express their respect, saying it will inspire the younger generation of women in China and around the world.

On October 16, The Times of India also reported that this is Wang Yaping’s second foray into space, and the other two male astronauts are Zhai Zhigang and Ye Guangfu. The report pointed out that the 41-year-old Wang Yaping will become China’s first female astronaut entering the space station and walking in space.

Additionally, many online users expressed their admiration and respect for Wang Yaping through overseas social media.

”Wang Yaping’s ponytail is the cutest and most fashionable thing in space. A grinning face, squinted eyes, a bright smile... thumbs up!” After the holiday, some tourists who traveled miles to internet-famous spots lamented being ”fooled.” In an era where images can easily ”plant grass,” stories of ”stepping on landmines” at internet-famous spots are not uncommon. Reasons for the popularity of these spots vary, relying on filters and marketing... but the reasons for ”backfire” are traceable.

Beautiful scenes rely entirely on filter images for reference only

”These days, if you don’t have some photography and retouching skills, you’re embarrassed to go traveling.” Xiaozhou, who claims to have a ”straight man aesthetic,” joked in his Moments, both went to West Lake, but the pictures he took and those on the internet look ”like completely different places.” Under the endorsement of various retouching software, some internet-famous spots have seen a surge in popularity.

Recently, a tweet from a netizen attracted a lot of attention and discussion. The much-hyped ”pink beach” in Yunnan Chengjiang by several social platforms contrasted greatly with the ”girlish” promotional pictures. In a video reviewing the ”pink beach,” without filters, the ”pink beach” is liver-colored, and the lake shore beach is only 10 meters wide, making many visitors exclaim ”fooled.” Besides, the spot is not yet fully developed, with underdeveloped facilities and difficult parking and toilet access. A netizen commented that the ”pink beach” is actually ”red land,” with the image stacked with ”three hundred layers of filters.”

In addition to post-production coloring retouching, pre-photography location, angle, posture, and the photographer’s skills determine whether a spot can become ”internet-famous.” Recently, Xiamen Bay Park has also been ”planted” by many young women. This park, originally just a place for citizens to take a leisurely stroll, has transformed into a ”world straight out of a Hayao Miyazaki cartoon” on internet platforms, with a blue sky and green grass looking fresh and charming. However, in the lens of visitor Mumu, who came from afar, it’s just an ordinary grass slope surrounded by buildings, and the grass seems to have just been cut. She suggests, ”If you’re not particularly good at taking photos and your schedule is tight, don’t come here.”

Tourists follow the trend to check-in at scenic spots, only to be ”disfigured.”
