Global Lords: I Have Information System

Fortunately, there were quite a few open spaces on the cliff.

It was enough for the airship and the Eagles to land and settle.

After the airship landed, Zong Shen quickly dismounted and jumped down from the Eagles’ back.

Once the airship’s hatch opened, Baron Bezos emerged tiredly.

They had departed just before eight in the morning and now it was approaching three in the afternoon.

Baron Bezos had been traveling on the airship for over seven hours.

”Younger Brother Zong, your Great Griffin is faster.”

”These old bones of mine suffer on long-haul airships.”

He eased himself on the ground and spoke enviously to Zong Shen.

”Lord Bezos, did you encounter any trouble along the way?”

”At the normal airspeed, you should have arrived between 1:30 and 2 in the afternoon, even without considering the tailwinds.”

Zong Shen smiled and asked with concern.

Upon hearing this question, Baron Bezos nodded.

”We were harassed by several Sharp-Clawed Eagles on the way.”

”The airship is equipped with a Magic Disc capable of firing wind and fire Magic Bullets.”

”After some effort, we managed to shake off those Eagles.”

”However, it did delay our time.”

Baron Bezos stretched his body, having been in the airship for seven or eight hours, his bones were stiff.

Zong Shen looked at the airship, and there were several obvious claw marks around the hull.

Some of the deepest ones even pierced through the metal cabin.

Although Baron Bezos spoke lightly, it was indeed a significant risk.

No wonder it delayed nearly an hour.

”Fortunately, you arrived safely.”

”Had I known earlier, I should have had the Eagles escorting and escorting you.”

Zong Shen pointed at the Eagles, a true air overlord, only it bullied others.

It’s rarely bullied, just a few Sharp-Clawed Eagles, which should be Captain Level Raptors.

If the Eagles were present, it would quickly turn those creatures into its next meal in minutes.

However, it was just a polite remark, if Baron Bezos were present, he wouldn’t be able to obtain those Lion Skeleton Knights.

These Skeleton Knights are dangerous monsters to Baron Bezos, but to Zong Shen, they represent considerable combat power.

He had also obtained those 36 sets of Tier Five Lion Knight Armor earlier as an extra gain.

Including those Treasure Chests, if Baron Bezos were present, it would be difficult to distribute them even though the Indigenous People couldn’t open them, it wouldn’t be nice for Zong Shen to discuss it openly.

Now that their relationship was still amicable, they both had their pursuits.

Zong Shen couldn’t just directly tell Baron Bezos that he’s the Chosen One who can open them exclusively.

Furthermore, according to the previous Strategy plan, at least six or seven tents remain unopened in the ruins.

The number of armors he obtained wasn’t the complete Quantity.

It should be capable of accommodating 6000 Cavalry at a base, even though the final battle came abruptly and unexpectedly.

There should be several hundred sets of Equipment remaining.

This is, of course, a conservative estimate.

Therefore, the benefits obtained earlier were just additional rewards.

Also, it helps Zong Shen to avoid some unnecessary embarrassment and trouble.

With Baron Bezos’ arrival, it means the exploration formally begins.

”Please, sir, take a rest first.”

”I’ll brief you on the situation first.”

Zong Shen offered voluntarily, as the laborers brought by Baron Bezos were unloading Supply Boxes.

One by one, the Supply Boxes were stacked in empty spaces.

Then they opened these boxes based on classification, extracting some supports and canvas.

It seems they were setting up temporary camps here.

The altitude difference of over a thousand meters kept their camps out of observation range unless the camps exceed a height of a hundred meters.

Just as they wouldn’t be discovered by Fishman Sentinels for low-altitude takeoffs:

But if the step is too high, it would be noticed.

The Shallow Water Fishman Tribe had archer units indeed.

Although it’s impossible to shoot down flying objects at a thousand-meter height, it would attract their attention.

Then it might affect the exploration and Excavation of the ruins.

”Alright, Younger Brother Zong.”

”You should have climbed down the mountain, right?”

Baron Bezos was eager as he led Zong Shen aside, sitting down heavily on a Supply Box.

Zong Shen also sat beside him.

”I went down the mountain this morning.”

”I found the pitfall and entered the cavern.”

”However...”

Before he finished, Baron Bezos comprehended with a wise smile on his face.

”Younger Brother Zong must have encountered the Lion Skeleton Knights, right?”

”I estimate those guys had been revived for over a hundred years.”

”I had encountered their attacks during my visit decades ago.”

”They should have been awakened by the surrounding Shallow Water Fishman.”

Baron Bezos knew no less than Zong Shen.

But this is understandable, as he had come here decades ago.

He had explored the cavern and passages, encountering the Lion Skeleton Knights was expected.

Moreover, Baron Bezos’ earlier exploration seemed to fail.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be longing for this place decades later.

Failures are common in military campaigns; even his exploration in Azshara Mine ended in a setback.

Two squads of Tier Two Avalon Light Armor Swordsmen fell in the mine.

But he later didn’t persist over the mine greatly.
