Celestial Night Emperor

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Han Biwei’s Identity

Ms. Zhang from the PTA, its vice president Mr. Zhang, and that former gangster Brother Niu all accompanied Teacher Chen, storming into the Dongshen Consortium Mansion.

Teacher Chen held an injury report in her hand.

She’d used her connections at a hospital to get it. The report was a forgery, exaggerating her injuries. The goal was to destroy Han Biwei, to make sure she was finished for good.

”First, we’ll find her supervisor and explain the situation. Then we’ll make her pay for my medical bills, nutritional supplements, and compensation for lost wages!”

After speaking, Teacher Chen took out her phone to call her cousin.

”My cousin works for a top executive here at this company too. Let’s see who dares to disrespect me!”

In a society that runs on connections, the secretary to a Governor was an undisputed heavyweight in any local company.

Teacher Chen was feeling incredibly cocky, determined to flaunt her connections.

The PTA vice president, Mr. Zhang, was a junior manager in the Dongshen Financial Group’s planning department. He immediately made a call. ”Get someone from HR over here! This is Section Chief Zhang from the Planning Department!”

A moment later, Wang Xiaoshuang appeared, holding a stack of files. ”Section Chief Zhang, I thought you were on leave today. Why have you come to the office but not gone to your workstation? And what’s the meaning of summoning the HR department?”

Ah!

’It’s Wang Xiaoshuang!’

’This girl is something else. She used to be just a new intern, but then she met the Group Chairman and the twelve presidents. She skyrocketed up the ranks overnight and is now the Head of the HR Department!’

’I heard her next move is a transfer to the President’s Office to take on an even more important role.’

Mr. Zhang immediately bowed. ”Oh, Minister Wang! Look at this, I can’t believe we troubled you personally over such a small matter. I was just bringing Teacher Chen from our Tianjiao Primary School to file a complaint against a junior employee!”

Wang Xiaoshuang said coldly, ”A complaint against an employee? Go and file a report first. I’ll be right here. I’ll handle it immediately.”

”Thank you, Minister Wang! Thank you, thank you so much!”

Watching Wang Xiaoshuang enter a newly built office to the side, Mr. Zhang wiped sweat from his brow and said smugly, ”See that? That beautiful woman is a rising star in the company, one of the president’s favorites, and even she showed me some respect!”

Ms. Zhang and Brother Niu were, of course, full of admiration.

Teacher Chen stared curiously at a large partition screen. ”Mr. Zhang, what office is behind this screen? Why is it so completely hidden?”

Mr. Zhang licked his lips. ”Well, I’m not sure myself, but rumor has it the Group Chairman personally ordered its construction... and that it’s an office built for a woman!”

WOW!

’Such a classic domineering CEO move!’

”That woman is so lucky! To have such a huge office built just for her? It takes up almost half the lobby.”

”Heh, you guys don’t get it. It’s more than just a private office. I heard that all twelve of Dongshen’s rotating presidents have to listen to her. In the future, this entire Dongshen Financial Group will be hers!”

Ms. Zhang’s eyes filled with envy and jealousy.

As a fellow woman, she considered herself accomplished, but compared to the owner of this office, she was still a far cry from true success.

’If the Dongshen Financial Group is going to be hers, doesn’t that mean she’ll be the richest woman in the country?’

While they stood there, staring dumbly, the door to the office behind the screen opened.

Ah!

’The matriarch of Dongshen Financial Group is coming out?’

Both Ms. Zhang and Teacher Chen’s eyes went wide.

But the person who walked out was, to their astonishment, Han Biwei!

Ms. Zhang and the others were instantly stunned.

’Wait, could it be that Han Biwei is...’

At that moment, even Teacher Chen broke out in a cold sweat.

Across the lobby, Han Biwei hurried out. Without noticing them, she went straight to Wang Xiaoshuang.

”Xiaoshuang, I’ve finished cleaning the office. Since there’s nothing else to do, I’d like to study some company documents to prepare for a future promotion!”

”Of course, Sister Weiwei. You do need to get familiar with the company. Let me give you a tour first.”

”Xiaoshuang, am I taking you away from your work?”

”Not at all. My job is to work for you!”

Han Biwei laughed. ”How is that possible? We both work for the owner of the Dongshen Financial Group.”

The two women walked away, as close as sisters.

Back with the group, Mr. Zhang from the PTA wiped his brow. ’Oh, so she’s just a cleaner. Scared me half to death. But she seems to know Minister Wang really well... Should I still go through with the complaint?’

He wasn’t a fool, and he was starting to have second thoughts.

Ms. Zhang was also having her doubts.

’After all, Han Biwei used to come from a wealthy family. She must still have some of her old connections. It might not be wise to push her too far.’

Teacher Chen stomped her foot in anger. ”So I just got slapped for nothing? No one has ever dared to slap me in my entire life!”

Ms. Zhang and the others forced smiles and assured her of their support.

Just then, Qin Tianxuan started walking down the stairs.

A large, imposing entourage followed him, so silent that you couldn’t even hear a cough.

The entire lobby fell silent.

A shrill voice shattered the solemn silence. ”Cousin! Cousin, it’s me! You’re really here! You have to get justice for me!”

The secretary to Chen Hai, the Governor of Su City, was standing at the very back of the group due to his low rank. He froze, utterly dumbfounded.

It was his cousin, the teacher, who was now charging forward like a madwoman, nearly knocking over several dignitaries from the Celestial Hall and the Battle Department.

”Cousin! Are you insane?” The secretary’s face flushed red, completely flustered.
