Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

231: Birthday party to pamper fansThis was a top-tier entertainment company that could call the shots in the industry, yet it had actually been acquired by Magic Paradise.

[Holy crap, who is the boss of Magic Paradise? They’re so powerful.]

[Don’t you know? It’s Lu Qingyu.]

[Damn, a person from Dragon Country.]

Half a month later, Lu Qingyu returned to Dragon Country. He had never celebrated his birthday before. Other idols held birthday parties every year, but their idol didn’t. The fans cared a lot about this.

The President of the Fan Club had mentioned this to Su Jixing, and Su Jixing was also a bit concerned. It made him feel sad that his younger brother didn’t celebrate his birthday.

Su Jixing found an opportunity to ask Lu Qingyu, ”Brother, do you want an anniversary? Something we can celebrate once a year, where we or the fans can celebrate with you.”

Lu Qingyu: ??? ”You mean a birthday?”

Su Jixing didn’t mention the word ”birthday.” He knew about Lu Qingyu’s background and was afraid of making him sad.

But seeing that Lu Qingyu didn’t seem to care at all: ”Yes, that’s right.”

Lu Qingyu thought about it. In this world, Lu Qingyu’s birthday was February 12th, and coincidentally, his own birthday was also February 12th.

”Then let’s have one.”

Who wouldn’t want to celebrate their birthday, with friends accompanying them to celebrate, eat, and relax?

The Fan Club was thrilled to receive the news. Su Jixing had informed them that Lu Qingyu could celebrate his birthday now.

February 12th. They didn’t expect Lu Qingyu’s birthday to be so soon—only two days away. Heavens, the time was too tight.

So the Fan Club immediately started organizing. However, Lu Qingyu had instructed Su Jixing that he didn’t want fans to spend money on him and refused all gifts. They arranged the venue at Lu Qingyu’s resort villa, and netizens attending the birthday party would be picked up and dropped off by bus.

If the fans came, they would just eat and drink.

Because time was tight and it wasn’t a holiday, the Fan Club finally calculated that five hundred people could come.

These people were basically representatives, representing Lu Qingyu’s fans from all over the country.

The birthday party was set for 7:00 PM on February 12th. That day, Lu Qingyu had a meeting there in the morning and the birthday party in the evening, without delaying his work at all.

When the fans arrived and saw the venue, they were stunned. Since it was Lu Qingyu’s own hotel resort, the boss’s birthday would naturally have the best venue.

This venue could accommodate more than two thousand people. The interior was decorated super luxuriously. There were famous small snacks from a five-star hotel, each about the size of a walnut and costing over three hundred yuan, filling an entire table. There were also various higher-end snacks that simply stunned the fans.

The Vice President and the President of the Fan Club were dazed when they walked in.

”President, did you prepare this?”

For a celebrity’s birthday party, fans usually pool money to prepare things, including food and so on.

They had previously received news not to prepare anything. The President’s family was well-off, so she thought the President had secretly prepared it behind their backs.

It turned out that wasn’t the case.

The President herself was also stunned. Her family was well-off, but not to this extent.

”No, it wasn’t me.”

Vice President: ”So, this is all Brother—”

The two looked at each other. Holy crap, this is too blissful.

Others felt the same way; it felt like being pampered by their idol.

Since Lu Qingyu didn’t accept gifts, most people brought letters and handicrafts. As a result, one could see mountains of letters, with more than ten boxes being carried into Lu Qingyu’s room.

When the time came, Lu Qingyu came out to chat with everyone for a while and then sang a few songs, and the whole event ended.

After waiting for Lu Qingyu to leave, everyone stood up to go, but the Lobby Manager came over to stop them.

They didn’t know this resort belonged to Lu Qingyu. The President’s heart skipped a beat. What did the manager mean by coming over now? Could it be that Qingyu hadn’t settled the bill?

It couldn’t be that they were being asked to pay the bill now, right? That couldn’t be; Brother Su said everyone didn’t need to spend money.

The Fan Club President was a newcomer to Lu Qingyu’s fandom, but she had been a fan of others before and had some lessons from experience. In just a moment, a bunch of thoughts flooded her mind.

When the manager spoke, she instantly felt ashamed and blushed.

Manager: ”Hello, Mr. Lu Qingyu has prepared gifts for everyone. Please distribute them.”

The fans burst into tears instantly upon hearing this:

[Waaa, my idol prepared gifts for us.]

[So happy, I received a gift from Brother.]

[This box is so beautiful, I can’t bear to open it.]

The fans collected their gifts one by one. There were exactly five hundred sets in exquisite tote bags, each containing two boxes of different sizes.

After going back, Lu Qingyu’s fans happily recorded videos of themselves unboxing the gifts.

It was past eleven at night when she got home. Li Lulu couldn’t wait to show off the gift she received from Lu Qingyu’s birthday party, so she did a live unboxing video.

Li Lulu was a loyal fan of Lu Qingyu. Her account was dedicated to posting video clips and various news about Lu Qingyu. Many fans knew she had attended Lu Qingyu’s birthday today, and as soon as they saw her live stream, they flocked to her room, wanting to hear her share her experience of today’s birthday party.

Li Lulu chatted with everyone for over 20 minutes first, then took out the gift box and began unboxing it in front of everyone.

[Heavens, receiving a gift from Brother is truly so blissful.]

[I regret not going so much. Corporate slaves have no rights.]

[I’m so curious about what’s inside! I guess it’s a Photo card of Qingyu.]

[Could it be something like chocolate?]

Li Lulu was equally curious. She first took out one of the large boxes, which was custom-made and featured a cartoon image of Lu Qingyu.

Opening the box and peeling back the wrapping paper, a bottle of perfume appeared inside.

The moment she saw the perfume, Li Lulu was stunned.

No way, could this perfume be the one from Chanel?

Taking the perfume out of the box and looking it over, heavens, it was exactly the same. Was this the Dior perfume that had recently gone viral online?

The fans in the live stream exploded.

[Holy crap, am I seeing this right? Is this the one that costs 1290?]

[That’s it, that’s it, it’s definitely that one.]

[Is this gift a Blind box? Lulu, did you open a Hidden edition?]

Li Lulu was a bit dazed because the manager had said when distributing the gifts that all the gifts at the scene were the same.

”No, all 500 gifts at the scene were exactly the same.”

It was over; the fans who hadn’t made it to the scene were green with envy.

[One bottle is 1290, so 500 bottles is 645,000. Mom, how can Brother spend money so recklessly?]

[Lulu, can you sell me one milliliter of that perfume?]

[Seeking to buy, I’m willing to spend 1,000 yuan for one milliliter.]

Li Lulu looked at the netizens’ comments excitedly: ”No, no way, I’m not selling. I’m going to treasure this bottle.”
