Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

222: Meet fans in the squareFinally, after the director played up the suspense, the four singers remaining were Lu Qingyu, Levi, Caesar, and Morin.

In this episode, Lu Qingyu’s vote count ranked first, Levi second, Caesar third, and Morin fourth.

The next episode would be the grand finale. All previous scores for the singers would be reset, and the four singers would compete in a single match to determine the overall champion.

The program ended. Before leaving, Levi gave Lu Qingyu a deep look; he had been careless and hadn’t expected this kid to be so formidable.

It seemed he would have to use his trump card. It was the final showdown, and there could only be one champion—and that person had to be him.

It was already past 11 PM when Lu Qingyu came out of the Studio Building, and the other artists had already left one after another.

In the square, the leader of the support team took a phone call. After hanging up, he turned around, picked up a megaphone, and said to the more than 800 fans who had come to show their support:

”Qingyu’s car has already left the Studio Building, so our support activity is coming to an end. Let’s take one last group photo, then clean up the trash around us before heading home.”

Hearing the leader say that Lu Qingyu’s car had left the Studio Building, everyone knew he was definitely heading to the airport. They wouldn’t be able to see Lu Qingyu today.

Although they were a bit disappointed, they were already quite satisfied to have been treated to milk tea by Lu Qingyu.

Everyone looked down to see if there was any trash around them and put it into their small bags. The leader adjusted the camera in front, and the fans cooperated by raising their milk tea cups and positioning their support light boards.

Just as the leader shouted ”one, two,” and before ”three” could even leave his mouth, it turned directly into a scream.

Because Lu Qingyu had appeared right beside them.

The team leader, Sun Ying, hadn’t expected Lu Qingyu to appear so suddenly. In her excitement, she dropped the camera, but fortunately, Lu Qingyu caught it.

From the fans holding the light boards waiting for the photo, an overwhelming wave of screams erupted.

[Ahhh! Little Brother, Little Brother, Little Brother is here!]

[Oh my god, am I dreaming?]

[No, I’m going to cry. Qingyu actually came over.]

Lu Qingyu had originally intended for them to drive him over here, but unexpectedly, the car couldn’t get out.

Aside from his own fans, the fans of the other seven artists had also come to show support today. The fans’ own cars, along with the Didis they had called, had completely filled all the parking spaces near the Studio Building, even blocking the exit roads.

The square where his fans were supporting him was less than a kilometer from the building. Since the car couldn’t get out for a long time, Lu Qingyu thought it would be better to just walk over, then wait for the crowd at the building to disperse before having them drive the car over.

So, he and Su Jixing had quietly walked over together.

He wasn’t wearing his performance outfit now, but his own casual clothes—all black with a black hat. If one didn’t look closely, it was impossible to tell it was him.

Lu Qingyu hadn’t expected Sun Ying to drop the equipment in her excitement. Luckily he caught it; this equipment looked expensive, probably costing no less than a million.

Sun Ying covered her mouth, tears flowing uncontrollably, too excited to speak.

The fans holding the light boards in the back were also in an uproar. They were incredibly moved, but something even more touching was yet to come.

Lu Qingyu returned the equipment to Sun Ying and then took the megaphone from her hand.

He stood before the crowd and said to the fans who had come to support him today:

”Thank you for coming to support me. I’ve received all your well-wishes.”

Everyone knew Lu Qingyu was very busy. Being able to see him today felt like their lives were complete.

[Wuuu, Little Brother, we’re so happy you could come.]

[Qingyu, you must take care of yourself and remember to rest more.]

[We will always support you.]

Sun Ying finally managed to calm her emotions and picked up the equipment.

”Qingyu, let me take a group photo for you all.”

Sun Ying still remembered that Lu Qingyu had a flight to catch, with only an hour left until boarding. Afraid that he might be late and miss his flight, she wanted to take a group photo with everyone and then let him go.

Lu Qingyu held the megaphone: ”No rush. I’ve rescheduled my ticket to 4:00 AM.”

”So, I can spend a little more time with everyone now.”

As soon as Lu Qingyu’s words fell, the entire square erupted with cheers.

They had been in the Fandom for many years. Before following Lu Qingyu, they had been fans of others and had heard stories of other fanbases, but they had never received this kind of treatment—a celebrity actually willing to reschedule a flight just to spend more time with their fans.

Most importantly, Lu Qingyu wasn’t just an artist; he was also the boss. He had complete control over his own schedule.

A drizzle had started to fall, and there were fewer and fewer pedestrians on the road. Besides Lu Qingyu’s fans, there were basically no passersby in the square.

Lu Qingyu cooperated with everyone for many photos, and he also took quite a few with his own phone.

The air was somewhat damp with a slight chill, but no one at the scene felt cold; instead, everyone was sweating from the heat of excitement.

There were many people at the scene, and there was no Host. After Lu Qingyu gave a few words of advice to the fans via the megaphone, he didn’t know what else to say.

The drizzle from the sky didn’t affect the fans’ desire to stay with him at all.

Lu Qingyu thought for a moment. Since they had come all this way to support him, he might as well sing a few songs with them.

Lu Qingyu asked through the megaphone, ”Does anyone have a guitar?”

Originally, no one had brought musical instruments for the support event. Coincidentally, a fan who loved music had brought her guitar along, thinking that if she had a chance to see Lu Qingyu, she would ask him to sign it.

Song Minmin, who was 1.58 meters tall, ran out from the crowd carrying her large guitar.

”I, I, I have one!”

Song Minmin walked up to Lu Qingyu. Although it was night, the square was much brighter than other places. She didn’t quite dare to look Lu Qingyu in the eye. Having just stolen a glance, she thought that Little Brother was truly handsome—a hundred times more handsome than on screen—and his voice was so pleasant to hear.

Lu Qingyu hadn’t expected someone to actually have one. He took the guitar.

Song Minmin said excitedly, ”Qingyu, can you sign my guitar later?”

Lu Qingyu smiled and agreed, ”Sure, I’ll give you a to-sign.”

Song Minmin felt her head buzzing. Before coming, she had told her best friend she was going to bring her guitar, and her friend had mocked her for doing something unnecessary, saying she would never have the chance to get Lu Qingyu’s signature.

She was going to post on her moments, she was going to post on Weibo, she was going to tell the whole world.

The fans still maintained their original support formation. No one rushed forward excitedly to surround him just because Lu Qingyu had arrived.

Lu Qingyu took the guitar, stacked two empty plastic milk tea crates on top of each other, and sat down.

Su Jixing acted as a microphone stand, holding the megaphone while standing by Lu Qingyu’s side.
