Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

223: WelfareLu Qingyu picked up the guitar and plucked a few notes, and the square immediately fell silent.

As the strings vibrated, the fans looked at Lu Qingyu with anticipation, guessing which song he would play.

After slightly tuning the guitar strings, Lu Qingyu slowly began to sing:

”Where will I see you? Is it possible our past was already fated?”

”Flying across the distance of time and space, yet confined by the light and shadows of swords.”

”The spring flowers of March awaken one by one; in the distant years, who is growing old?”

”Whether it is a tribulation or fate, it follows my heart; apart from you, I am impervious to all enemies.”

Fans turned on their recording devices and phone lights, and everyone in the square had been covering their mouths tightly ever since Lu Qingyu started singing.

If they didn’t try their best to control themselves, they were afraid they wouldn’t be able to help letting out marmot-like screams.

Another new song, another new song! Whose fans eat as well as theirs do?

And these lyrics, they are just too beautiful.

Sun Ying held up her camera; although she didn’t speak, her tears were about to burst forth.

She absolutely adored the lyric, ”Apart from you, I am impervious to all enemies.”

Although there was only guitar accompaniment, it didn’t feel monotonous to anyone at all.

This song, ”Arch-Enemy,” had flooded into Lu Qingyu’s mind the moment he picked up the guitar.

The daily drizzle was getting lighter, and the lampposts in the square remained lit. Aside from the fans, passersby who heard the song couldn’t help but take out their phones to record.

”When resentment and gratitude are half and half, how can I embrace them?”

”Watching the lanterns stained blood-red, it is already too late for revenge.”

”Beneath the moon, the gatekeeper sighs for the peace of Chang’an last night.”

”When the galaxy in the sky turns, my fate is already sealed.”

”Waiting for the ink of the final letter to dry, the arch-enemy has already invaded.”

”I have borrowed your loneliness; I fear it will be hard to repay in this lifetime.”

Everyone was immersed in the lyrics, as if seeing a couple trapped in a tragic romance, unable to be together because of conflicts in the martial arts world.

It was also the first time Su Jixing had seen Lu Qingyu play and sing this song; it was truly wonderful.

Looking at the fans, they all loved it immensely. He needed to arrange the copyright and then have Lu Qingyu find time to record this song.

”The coffin is buried deep in the valley floor.”

”There are no secrets that last forever.”

”Interfering in the martial arts world leads to a tragic end.”

”No one can escape their destiny.”

”When the galaxy in the sky turns, my fate is already sealed.”

”Waiting for the ink of the final letter to dry, the arch-enemy has already invaded.”

”I have borrowed your loneliness; I fear it will be hard to repay in this lifetime.”

As the last line of the lyrics was sung, the fans were all in tears.

They had shed too many tears today. At the beginning, seeing Lu Qingyu had made them cry tears of joy; now, they were moved by the song.

This kind of mournful musical style simply pierced straight into their hearts.

After finishing his performance, Lu Qingyu saw how quiet everyone was, so he took the megaphone from Su Jixing’s hand.

”How was it? Did everyone like it?”

Hearing Lu Qingyu’s question, everyone reacted in unison, and their screams were the best answer.

After King of Singers ended, everyone left. When the program aired, Lu Qingyu alone occupied seven related hot search topics.

The operations department had made ample preparations to maintain the system’s operation.

Sure enough, when the King of Singers program aired, the massive traffic almost crashed the system.

Having finally made it to the end of the program, the Staff Members could finally get off work, but then Lu Qingyu ran to the square to sing.

Once the fans posted the short videos, Weibo exploded again.

The Staff Members had just arrived home when they were called back to work overtime. They dared to swear that Lu Qingyu was definitely the reason their hair had been falling out so severely over the past year.

Lu Qingyu sang three songs in the square, went straight to the airport after finishing, and boarded his flight after resting for less than three hours.

The next day, Lu Qingyu completely dominated the top three spots on the music streaming software.

The first was ”Left Hand Points to the Moon,” the second was ”Arch-Enemy,” and the third was ”Stars.”

While Lu Qingyu’s popularity in the country was red-hot, he himself was already abroad.

At the provincial cultural and tourism conference, Xu Jian walked out of the meeting room with a worried expression.

After saying goodbye to the others, he got into the car, and his secretary handed Xu Jian a glass of water.

”Director, what is the matter?”

Xu Jian was truly worried. It would be October soon, and cultural and tourism departments everywhere were preparing their big moves. There were only a few golden periods for travel in a year, and October was considered the most important.

But other cities had mountains and water, historical sites, and ethnic characteristics. People who loved to travel could visit for three or four days and see at least seven or eight attractions.

Their N City was not small, but it only had one famous place: a mountain with a temple. The key was that if one wanted to look at the level of fame of the temple, it couldn’t compare to places like Lingyin Temple or Hanshan Temple. If people wanted to see temples, why wouldn’t they go see those instead of coming to their place!

Xu Jian was worried about how to develop local culture and tourism, and the secretary also knew that their city’s culture and tourism had always been poor.

Xu Jian: ”Are there any novel promotion methods now?”

Secretary: ”Nowadays, young people like to make travel plans and watch recommendations from internet celebrities or Stars; this is the most popular promotion method currently.”

Although Xu Jian was born in the 80s, he was very open-minded. Many places had achieved fame through such promotions, and he didn’t reject these methods.

It was just that everyone was using this method, so even if they found internet celebrities or Stars, they wouldn’t have an advantage.

Xu Jian sighed heavily: ”This can indeed attract young people, but everyone is using it. Look at the neighbor next door; they hired a bunch of people to promote, but the effect was just average. Therefore, the key to this matter is who you get to do the promotion. Whether something becomes popular is not just a matter of probability, but also luck. The person doing the promotion is very important.”

The secretary also thought of this problem. Suddenly, it seemed like the secretary thought of something:

”Director, there is a star who is very popular recently, a singer. We can invite him.”

The secretary handed over the phone, which showed a video of him singing. Xu Jian pressed it for a dozen seconds. He liked listening to revolutionary songs and didn’t have the ability to appreciate this type of song, but he could feel that the song was likely sung very well, and this young man was truly handsome.

Xu Jian returned the phone to the secretary, sighed heavily, and then made a decision. In previous years, they had filmed plenty of advertisements and spent plenty of funding, but the results were just so-so. Facts told them that those previous methods had already been eliminated, and they had to keep up with the pace of the times.

”If our city’s culture and tourism remains in this state, there is no difference between spending the funding on ten people or on one person. Go and make contact to see if we can invite him to do our culture and tourism promotion.”

The secretary nodded, and after returning, went to contact Lu Qingyu’s side. At the same time, other cities also began to look for internet celebrities and Stars to do cultural and tourism promotion.

Su Jixing received a special email. It was an invitation for cultural and tourism promotion sent by N City, hoping that Lu Qingyu could create a song to promote N City.

Lu Qingyu was not from N City, but coincidentally, Su Jixing was. He grew up in N City and had set up a stall under Qile Mountain with his mother since he was a child. Seeing his hometown all of a sudden, that wave of homesickness rose up. Thinking of his mother who had long passed away, his eyes instantly turned red.
