Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 589: Chapter 589: Avoidance_1

At this moment, inside the sedan, Ye Luo was gasping for breath, his face pale, his hands tightly clutching the Dragon Head Box.

”Ye Luo, how are you? Is it serious?” Leng Ruobing looked at Ye Luo with a face full of concern.

”I’m okay, don’t worry about me, but luckily, we got the Dragon Head.” Ye Luo revealed a pale smile.

”Not good, someone is catching up from behind.” Suddenly, Mingyue spoke, and right after, the car roared, lost control, and crashed to the side, finally banging against a big tree. Luckily, all three were martial artists and managed to control their bodies in time to avoid injury.

However, the trio quickly sensed a terrifying aura descending, got out of the car, and saw a dark figure approaching from within the darkness.

It was the expert who had previously injured Ye Luo at the Prime Minister’s residence, emitting a tremendously frightening momentum. The faces of Ye Luo and his companions were all very solemn.

”Ye Luo, what do we do now?” Mingyue asked with a grave expression, her eyes filled with tension.

”Mingyue, take Ye Luo and get out of here quickly, I’ll hold him off,” Leng Ruobing said directly.

”No, you’re no match for him. Take the Dragon Head and go, I’ll do it,” Ye Luo quickly interjected.

”You’re injured. Get out of here, and besides, you’ve taken action the last few times. I’m also the deputy director of the Earth Group of the Special Security Bureau. I must fulfill my responsibility, Mingyue take him and go.”

After speaking, Leng Ruobing’s body burst forth, releasing a terrifying coldness, as if the void around her froze, the chill sweeping across heaven and earth.

”Ye Luo, go quickly, don’t disappoint Deputy Director Leng.”

Mingyue grabbed Ye Luo’s hand and left the place.

But after running with Mingyue for several minutes, Ye Luo suddenly stopped and handed over the Dragon Head Box to her.

”Ye Luo, you...” Mingyue’s face changed as she looked at Ye Luo.

”Mingyue, protect the Dragon Head well, it must be safe. I can’t leave Ruo Bing alone. Take the Dragon Head and leave immediately. If we don’t come back, you must ensure the Dragon Head returns to Huaxia.”

Ye Luo looked at Mingyue and said solemnly, then he turned back the way he had come.

”Ye Luo!”

Mingyue called out urgently, her eyes flickering, a tear falling from her eyes, her expression somewhat sad.

However, by the time Ye Luo returned to the previous location, both Leng Ruobing and the expert were gone, with only the coldness of Leng Ruobing’s True Qi lingering in the air.

Ye Luo quickly deployed the Clairvoyant Eye to search for Leng Ruobing’s whereabouts, but found no trace of her. However, he did notice many soldiers and samurais were heading his way.

Ye Luo’s expression changed, and he quickly left the area.

”Ye Luo, get in the car!”

As Ye Luo reached a turning point, a car charged out, and the person sitting inside was none other than Yamaguchi Momoe.

Without a moment to spare, Ye Luo opened the door and got in, and the car swiftly disappeared from the spot.

”Miss Momoe, why... why are you here?”

Inside the car, Ye Luo looked at Yamaguchi Momoe, his eyes flickering.

”You saved me, so naturally, I couldn’t just watch you be in trouble,” Yamaguchi Momoe said, eyes on the road as she drove swiftly.

”But I...”

”Are you saying that you deceived me? Actually, I’ve suspected for a while that you’re not an ordinary person. Otherwise, you couldn’t possibly have such high martial skills and medical expertise. I just didn’t expect that you are from one of Huaxia’s mysterious organizations.”

”But that’s not really important, after all, the Dragon Head is rightfully yours, Huaxia. It’s only right you take it back. If you’d told me sooner, maybe I would have just bought it at the auction and given it to you directly. That would’ve saved us a lot of trouble,” Yamaguchi Momoe said.

”Thank you, Miss Momoe.”

Ye Luo looked at Yamaguchi Momoe with sincere gratitude.

”What I’ve done is nothing compared to how you saved me and my father.”

”Miss Momoe, you can just let me off somewhere. That will be fine,” Ye Luo said.

”No, it’s not safe right now. They’ve locked down the whole of Tokyo and deployed a large number of troops to look for you. It would be dangerous for you to leave now. I’ll take you back to the Yamaguchi Family. They won’t search there, and it’ll be relatively safe. Tomorrow, I’ll find a way to help you leave.”

As Yamaguchi Momoe spoke, she took Ye Luo back to the Yamaguchi Family estate, then led him into the villa where she lived. However, everything they did was witnessed by Yamaguchi Kiyoshi, who happened to be returning home. A glint of something different flickered in his eyes.

”You should stay here tonight. Don’t leave, and you’ll be safe,”

Yamaguchi Momoe said to Ye Luo.

”Miss Momoe, I’m sorry to cause you trouble,” Ye Luo said, somewhat embarrassed, then suddenly thought of something and turned to Momoe.

”Right, Miss Momoe, one of my friends tried to save me and might have fallen into their hands. Can you help me check on her? Find out if she is alive or dead?”

”Sure, no problem,” Yamaguchi Momoe agreed immediately.

In another villa, Yamaguchi Kiyoshi was on the phone.

”What? You’re saying the person with her is from the Huaxia government, and they stole the Dragon Head?”

Yamaguchi Momoe said with a look of surprise.

On the other end of the phone was Yanagawa Kei, who relayed everything that happened inside the Prime Minister’s residence to Yamaguchi Kiyoshi.

”Since when did she take on a retainer?” Yamaguchi Kiyoshi muttered to himself, his eyes flickering. Suddenly, his gaze hardened as his expression changed. He thought of the person Momoe had brought back earlier.

A cold smile then appeared on Yamaguchi Kiyoshi’s lips, and a ruthless light flashed in his eyes.

Twenty minutes later, a series of car engines rumbled within the grounds of the Yamaguchi estate. Five or six Mercedes arrived.

The car doors opened, and a group of Samurai rushed out. One of the cars disgorged Miyamoto Takeshi along with four Saint Realm experts at his side.

Inside the villa, Ye Luo sensed something was wrong. Using the Clairvoyant Eye with a sweep, his face changed color instantly, and he quickly burst out of his room.

At that moment, Yamaguchi Momoe, too, had a serious expression as she approached Ye Luo and said, ”I don’t know what’s going on, but Miyamoto Takeshi has arrived here with a group of people. I’m afraid the situation isn’t good.”

”They may have discovered I’m here. I can’t involve you, Miss Momoe. I’ll leave right now,”

Ye Luo said hurriedly, preparing to leave, but was caught by Yamaguchi Momoe.

”No, it’s all their people outside now. You’ll definitely be killed if you leave. Come with me,”

Yamaguchi Momoe led Ye Luo upstairs to her boudoir, which was filled with a faint fragrance.

”Hide under the bed right now,” Yamaguchi Momoe instructed, pointing to her bed.

”But they’ll definitely search here,” Ye Luo said gravely, looking at Yamaguchi Momoe.

”Don’t worry, I have a plan. Hide quickly.”

With no other options, Ye Luo crawled under the bed. Then he heard the sound of clothing being removed. He activated his Clairvoyant Eye and was instantly dumbstruck by what he saw.
