Chapter 588: Chapter 588: Snatching the Dragon Head_1

Tagawa Ichiro pointed at Ye Luo, who was standing beside Yamaguchi Momoe in the distance, and suddenly shouted, which made Tagawa Banki’s expression change aback, and Ye Luo’s face turned pale as he thought to himself, ”This is bad.”

”What? He is Ye Luo!”

Tagawa Banki promptly stood up, his gaze fixating on the attendant beside Yamaguchi Momoe with a look of shock.

At this moment, everyone in the hall was confused by the sudden outburst of Tagawa Banki and his son, having no idea what was going on.

The one sitting on the stage had an even grimmer expression and directly shouted, ”Family Head Tagawa, what are you doing?”

”That guy is just...”

Tagawa Banki, looking intently, was about to say something about Ye Luo.

Just then, a series of clicking sounds echoed as the lights in the hall suddenly went out, plunging the entire hall into darkness, causing a wave of panic among everyone.

”Quick, grab that attendant beside Yamaguchi Momoe; he’s from the Special Security Agency!”

Tagawa Banki’s piercing voice echoed in the darkness, startling many people.

”What? Someone from the Special Security Agency?”

At that moment, Ye Luo burst toward the auction stage, intending to seize the opportunity to steal the Dragon Head during the confusion; the lights had been extinguished by him for that very purpose.

But just as Ye Luo’s hand was about to touch the Dragon Head, a terrifying gust of wind came from the darkness. His face changed, he dodged to one side, and threw a punch.

A dull thud sounded, and Ye Luo’s eyes swept over to the person, who was none other than Miyamoto Takeshi. He had stepped into the Saint Realm, possessing the power of the first tier of the Saint Realm, and Ye Luo hadn’t expected him to react so quickly.

Right after that, the four Saint Realm experts protecting Miyamoto Takeshi all attacked Ye Luo, causing his expression to darken. His eyes flickered, and he dodged to one side.

Meanwhile, outside the hall, a group of soldiers and experts from the Island Country stormed in, sealing off the surroundings, while the hall’s lights came on again—an unexpected backup lightbulb system had been installed.

Now that everyone could clearly see the situation, Ye Luo stood at the center with four Imperial Family Guard Squad experts surrounding him, while Miyamoto Takeshi stood in front of the auction stage, his eyes glaring intently at Ye Luo.

”That’s right, it’s him, he’s from the Special Security Agency. He must have come to steal the Dragon Head, we absolutely can’t let him go,” Tagawa Banki pointed at Ye Luo and shouted.

”Someone apprehend him for me!”

Following the order, the soldiers pointed their weapons at Ye Luo, drawing the attention of everyone onto him, making his face turn slightly grim.

”Ye Luo, I didn’t expect that after I kindly took you in, you would deceive me.”

Yamaguchi Momoe suddenly rushed out, pointing at Ye Luo with a face full of anger, but as Ye Luo looked at her, he noticed her giving him covert signals, with her little hand pointing at herself; Ye Luo instantly understood.

Whoosh!

Ye Luo’s figure flickered, and just as the several experts were about to make their move, he flashed in front of Yamaguchi Momoe, his hand directly clamping down on her throat.

”Release Momoe!”

Miyamoto Takeshi’s eyes narrowed, watching Ye Luo with an authoritative shout.

”If you want me to release her, bring me the Dragon Head, then let me leave this place,” Ye Luo said coldly.

”Do you think you’re in a position to negotiate?” Miyamoto Takeshi said with disdain.

”Unless you don’t care about Miss Momoe’s life or death,” Ye Luo said, tightening his grip on Yamaguchi Momoe’s throat, immediately making her face turn red and her breathing become hurried.

”You...” Anger flickered in Miyamoto Takeshi’s eyes.

”Fine, I’ll give you the Dragon Head, but you must not harm Momoe. If you do, I swear you won’t survive tonight,” Miyamoto Takeshi declared and, with a wave of his hand, one of his subordinates placed the Dragon Head into a box, ready to be handed to Ye Luo.

At that moment, someone urgently interjected, ”No! We can’t give him the Dragon Head; we can’t let this guy get away.”

”Miss Momoe’s safety is the most important thing right now!” Miyamoto Takeshi’s eyes emitted a resolute gleam as he glanced around, his voice very firm.

The individual’s face turned unpleasant, and his eyes flickered as he ended up not speaking further.

Afterward, Ye Luo received the box containing the Dragon Head. With one hand gripping Yamaguchi Momoe, his Clairvoyant Eye scanned the surroundings as he slowly retreated toward the exit of the hall, with the four Saint Realm experts and other experts and soldiers in the room firmly watching him.

”Make way!” Ye Luo said coldly to the soldiers and Samurai experts blocking the hall entrance. These men’s eyes carried a hint of hesitation, but after glancing at Miyamoto Takeshi who nodded, they parted.

Thus, Ye Luo, holding Yamaguchi Momoe hostage, made his way to the Prime Minister’s residence entrance, with the group following.

Suddenly, a black shadow burst forth, carrying a formidable aura.

Ye Luo’s face changed, and he pushed Yamaguchi Momoe away while wielding the Lingyun Sword to clash with the approaching shadow.

Spurt!

Ye Luo immediately spat out a mouthful of blood, and his body was sent flying.

At that moment, a black sedan pulled up, the car door opened, and Leng Ruobing rushed out.

”Ye Luo!”

Leng Ruobing called out, quickly pulling Ye Luo into the car which was driven by Mingyue. The car immediately shot off as the shadow pursued it directly.

”Momoe, are you alright?”

Inside the residence, Miyamoto Takeshi supported the nearly fallen Yamaguchi Momoe and asked with concern.

”I’m fine,” Yamaguchi Momoe shook her head.

”Quick, mobilize everyone, we must catch that man and retrieve the Dragon Head; we can’t let them get away,” he roared, and a group of soldiers and Samurai experts chased after them.

”Miss Momoe, can you explain to me why your attendant turned out to be from the agency?” he asked, with an imposing stare at Yamaguchi Momoe.

”I’m sorry, I didn’t scrutinize him thoroughly. He had helped me out before, and afterwards he said he was jobless, having drifted to the Island Country. I took pity on him because he had helped me, and I made him my attendant. I never expected things would turn out this way. Please forgive me,” Yamaguchi Momoe said softly with her head bowed.

”Since Momoe is also unaware of the true situation, you shouldn’t blame her. What we need to do now is capture that man,” Miyamoto Takeshi spoke up.
