Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 571: Chapter 571 Amaterasu Shrine_1

”Master of the Divine Spirit!” Yamaguchi Momoe’s expression changed, and a hint of surprise flashed through her pupils.

”Huh, sister, who is this person by your side? He seems so unfamiliar?”

Yamaguchi Yoshimasa’s gaze suddenly landed on Ye Luo, twinkling with an unusual light.

”Oh, this is Ye Luo, a friend I met on my way back. I was safe from danger twice because he stepped in to rescue me. Master Ren De was killed because of me, so it happened that Ye Luo knows medical skills. Hearing that father was unwell, he wanted to come to see my father,” said Yamaguchi Momoe.

While speaking, she looked towards Ye Luo and introduced him, ”Ye Luo, this is my sister Yamaguchi Yoshimasa, and this is Mr. Yanagawa Kei from the Liuchuan family.”

Ye Luo nodded at the two, while Yanagawa Kei’s gaze swept casually over Ye Luo. It was Yamaguchi Yoshimasa who narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked at Ye Luo.

”I’m sorry, Ye Luo, I intended to have you take a look at my father, but now...” Yamaguchi Momoe said somewhat apologetically to Ye Luo.

”It’s no issue,” Ye Luo smiled, his eyes sweeping across that central villa, revealing a mysterious smile at the corner of his mouth.

After a while, an old man wearing a white robe emerged from the villa, followed by two middle-aged men in white tunics, their presences profound, their gazes filled with cold indifference.

”Master of the Divine Spirit!”

Seeing these three people come out, Yamaguchi Yoshimasa and others promptly walked forward, looking at the elder with respectful faces.

”Master of the Divine Spirit, how is my father?” Yamaguchi Yoshimasa asked the elder.

”The Liuchuan family head is no longer in critical condition and should recover after a few days of rest,” said the elder in a clear, cold voice.

”Many thanks, master. Indeed, The Master of the Divine Spirit, as one would expect from someone from the Amaterasu Shrine, is truly powerful,” Yanagawa Kei said with a smile, singing his praise.

”Master, thank you for saving my father,” said Yamaguchi Momoe to the elder as well.

The elder didn’t speak, his eyes, however, turned to Ye Luo at the side, his gaze sharpening for a moment as a faint light flashed through his pupils.

”Who might this be?” The elder asked, looking directly at Ye Luo.

”Oh, master, this is my friend Ye Luo. Do you need anything, Master?” Yamaguchi Momoe asked.

The elder did not speak again but gave Ye Luo another look and left the place with the two men.

”Ye Luo, let me take you to see my father,” said Yamaguchi Momoe, her gaze towards Ye Luo.

”But sister, that wouldn’t be good. Father has just recovered and still needs rest. He shouldn’t be disturbed by outsiders. How about you entertain Mr. Ye for a while, and I’ll go see father with Mr. Yanagawa,” insisted Yamaguchi Yoshimasa.

”Very well,” agreed Yamaguchi Momoe, her gaze flickering as she nodded.

Yamaguchi Momoe led Ye Luo into a sitting room and began, ”I’m sorry about earlier.”

”Don’t worry about it. It seems that your relationship with your sister is somewhat delicate,” Ye Luo said, seated on the sofa, his gaze turning towards Yamaguchi Momoe.

Yamaguchi Momoe’s face showed a slight change, revealing a complex expression as she said, ”My sister has always been competitive and has always wanted to prove herself to our father.”

”Right, who is that elder, and what is this Amaterasu Shrine I heard you mention just now?” Ye Luo asked curiously.

”The Amaterasu Shrine is the most sacred place in our Island Country, as well as the focal point of our nation’s faith. The legend holds that the Shrine is a heritage passed down by our ancestral deity Amaterasu and possesses sacred strength that can protect the people of the entire Island Country,” she explained.

”And that Master of the Divine Spirit is a highly skilled medical practitioner from Amaterasu Shrine. However, the shrine has always been shrouded in mystery, and its inhabitants rarely leave. This time, Yanagawa Kei was able to request their help, probably because of the Liuchuan Family’s influence, given that the Liuchuan Family has a history spanning thousands of years and has close ties with the Amaterasu Shrine,” furthered Yamaguchi Momoe.

Yamaguchi Momoe was introducing.

Meanwhile, Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, flickering with sharp glints as he said, ”I never imagined that your Island Country would have such a miraculous power in existence, but I need to tell you something.”

”What is it?” Yamaguchi Momoe’s eyes turned towards Ye Luo.

”Your father has not been completely cured.”

”What?” Yamaguchi Momoe exclaimed, ”How... how is that possible? Master Tianling clearly said that he had cured my father.”

A cold smile appeared on the corner of Ye Luo’s mouth as he said, ”He did cure your father, but he also did something to him.”

”Did something? What do you mean?”

Ye Luo directly said, ”He administered a special kind of medicine to your father, which can gradually control a person’s mind, eventually turning them into a puppet-like being.”

Yamaguchi Momoe was startled, losing composure as she said, ”How could this be, this...”

”What I’m saying is indeed correct.” Ye Luo spoke solemnly, and obviously, he had seen all this through his Clairvoyant Eye.

He did not know exactly what the medicine was made of, but he was clear that it would impact a person’s brain, even capable of controlling someone’s mind.

”Why would Master Tianling do such a thing?” Yamaguchi Momoe said, finding it hard to believe.

”You’ll have to ask him that. Of course, if you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can do.”

”I believe you.”

Yamaguchi Momoe’s gaze was fixed on Ye Luo as she finally spoke.

”Do you really believe me?” Ye Luo looked at Yamaguchi Momoe somewhat surprised.

”My intuition tells me you’re not lying. However, I’m curious, having never met my father, how do you know all of this?”

Yamaguchi Momoe looked at Ye Luo and could not help but ask.

”You don’t need to know that. You just have to believe what I’m saying,” Ye Luo replied.

”Since you know all of this, do you have a way to free my father from the control of that medicine?” Yamaguchi Momoe looked at Ye Luo with some anticipation.

”I can do that, but this medicine is quite troublesome. I need a day or two to completely eliminate the drug,” Ye Luo spoke.

”Alright, let’s go now.”

Ye Luo shook his head and said, ”No, although you believe me, your sister may not necessarily believe me. If she were to find out about this, she would definitely obstruct it, and even if the people from the Amaterasu Shrine found out, the consequences would be unpredictable for both of us.”

”We are still unclear about the purpose of the Amaterasu Shrine’s actions. It’s better to be cautious. We must not let anyone know about this for now.”

”Yes, you’re right,” Yamaguchi Momoe thought for a moment and nodded.

In the Island Country, atop Mount Fuji,

atop this mountain deemed the sacred mountain of the Island Country, there was an immense palace, filled with a divine aura.

Within a room in this palace, there was a vast pond, strewn with flower petals.
