The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

In the original plot, Ye Beixuan got the investment from his little fairy sister, Ye Muwan.

He specially hired a lawyer to draft a formal cooperation agreement and allocated 49% of the shares to Ye Muwan.

When Qiu Wanting found out, she was very satisfied—

Not only because Ye Beixuan didn’t take advantage of Ye Muwan’s glow, but even more because, throughout the whole contract signing process, it never once occurred to him to think of his real sister, Ye Beibei.

It’s not that Ye Beixuan was supposed to give shares to Ye Beibei.

But, after all, Ye Beixuan is Ye Beibei’s real brother; if he truly had this sister in his heart.

He started his own company, and it was the kind of promising company he was confident would make money and grow.

A big brother who really dotes on his sister, even if he can’t give too much, could at least spare 1% or 2% of the shares, even if it’s just to prepare some dowry for her in advance, or to make up for the regret that she can’t inherit the family business just because she’s a girl.

Like the lady next door, Zhao Yingzi; she’s not the only daughter of the Zhao Family, she has an older brother above her.

After Brother Zhao took over the Zhao Group, he clearly knew Zhao Yingzi wasn’t short of money.

She not only held shares of the Su Group in her hands, she also had some Zhao Group shares given by the elders.

But Brother Zhao still carved out 1% from the family shares he inherited and gave it to Zhao Yingzi.

Leaving aside the value of the shares themselves for the moment, what Brother Zhao did was more about feeling sorry for his divorced, single sister.

He wanted to make it clear to everyone: Zhao Yingzi is the sister I value most; I’m even willing to give her shares. If anyone dares to bully her, they’re going against the Zhao Family!

...Chairman Zhao really is the kind of good brother who truly loves his sister.

And Ye Beixuan? From beginning to end, he never once thought of Ye Beibei.

Seeing that share allocation sheet with only Ye Beixuan and Ye Muwan’s names on it, Qiu Wanting knew that her efforts over the past ten-plus years had not been in vain.

Even though, with Ye Beibei’s appearance, Ye Beixuan learned about his so-called ”origins.”

He could no longer treat Qiu Wanting like his real mother as he used to.

But as long as Ye Beixuan valued Ye Muwan and felt closer to her than to Ye Beibei, Qiu Wanting was satisfied.

She’d had a carefree, smooth life all her life; the only thing she couldn’t set down was her daughter.

Now that her daughter had Ye Beixuan to take care of her, the days ahead definitely wouldn’t be bad.

Not to mention the emotional bond—just that cooperation agreement alone gave Qiu Wanting a few more points of reassurance—with shared interests, Ye Beixuan and Ye Beibei could be good siblings for life!

Once she realized this, Qiu Wanting gave up on her previous ”adopted son plan” and instead started to support Ye Beixuan.

Ye Beixuan noticed the backing coming from the Qiu Family, and thinking of Qiu Wanting’s loving care in the past, his relationship with this mistress stepmother actually improved.

You couldn’t say it went back to how it was, but there was no hostility or suspicion anymore.

Right at this time, Ye Beibei, like a hedgehog taking on the whole world, charged around the Ye Family, constantly stirring things up.

Again and again, Ye Beixuan was disappointed in Ye Beibei, and in the end, she actually went insane targeting the woman he loved most, Feng Yuyao.

Ye Beixuan, unable to bear it any longer, simply sent her to a sanatorium.

With Ye Beibei gone, the Ye Family was finally ”perfect”—

The father was loving, the sons were filial, the siblings were affectionate, the mother- and daughter-in-law got along, the husband and wife were loving... it was practically the model ”Five-Good Family” in the wealthy family circle!

He Tiantian: ...Sure is harmonious; the only Sacrificial Lamb is Ye Beibei.

Of course, that was the original plot.

Now, with the plot taking a turn in He Tiantian’s hands, it was heading down another path.

Ye Beixuan didn’t get investment from Ye Muwan; the shares ”Su Hetian” gave to Ye Beibei made Qiu Wanting and her daughter misunderstand one thing after another.

Young as she was, Ye Muwan was just purely resentful that her brother was being biased.

Qiu Wanting already had misgivings in her heart; when she realized Ye Beixuan was actually better to Ye Beibei than to Ye Muwan, she became even more guarded.

In the days that followed, not only did Qiu Wanting not give up on the ”adopted son plan,” she even stuffed someone into Ye Enterprise to be Ye Cheeng’s assistant.

In addition, the Qiu Group, wary of the Su and Zhao families, didn’t dare openly trip up Ye Beixuan’s Magic Cube Technology Company, but they still caused plenty of trouble in secret.

Ye Beixuan: ...

He wasn’t stupid; he quickly noticed the Qiu Family’s under-the-table moves.

”She really isn’t my real mother; Qiu Wanting definitely has ulterior motives!”

When his own interests were being harmed, Ye Beixuan also began to reject Qiu Wanting in his heart.

The grudges of the previous generation suddenly no longer felt so distant.

As for his real mother or whatever, Ye Beixuan had long stopped thinking about that; instead, from time to time, he’d spit in his heart that Qiu Wanting really was a mistress with no morals and no bottom line!
