The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

”What? You want to give 24% of the shares to Beibei?”

Ye Beixuan widened his eyes, staring blankly at He Tiantian.

He knew that the person in front of him shouldn’t be lacking money, seeming like a mega-rich.

But still, even with wealth, it wouldn’t make sense to hand over one’s own interests to someone not related by blood.

As for what He Tiantian said about ”Beibei helped me with a big issue, I treat her like my real sister,” Ye Beixuan didn’t really believe her.

Even for saving a life, it doesn’t, doesn’t require such a repayment.

Seeing He Tiantian’s posture, it seemed as if Ye Beibei was truly her real sister.

Uh, mentioning a real sister somewhat made Ye Beixuan feel a bit heartbroken.

Because Ye Beibei happens to be his real sister, Ye Beixuan.

Upon hearing He Tiantian’s words, besides being shocked, Ye Beixuan felt a trace of inexplicable embarrassment and distress—

Even Hetian, who isn’t Beibei’s real brother, gave her shares as thanks for her matchmaking.

So, as Beibei’s real brother, Ye Beixuan seemed more obliged to show something, aside from blood ties, considering Beibei helped him bring in such a mega-rich, oh no, a venture dad, he indeed should thank her properly.

But—

Ye Beixuan endured the reluctance in his heart, licked his lips, and said, ”I’ll give out shares from my portion—”

Saying this, Ye Beixuan was again in distress.

How much share would be appropriate to give Ye Beibei?

With Hetian’s 24% share there, if he gives too little, it wouldn’t make sense.

But if he gives too much, setting aside the actual interests the shares represent, it also risks losing decision control of the company—

If Hetian and Ye Beibei teamed up, and Beibei transferred the shares Ye Beixuan gave her to Hetian, even a mere 2% would be enough to change the decision-maker of the tech company.

Ye Beixuan didn’t want to work for others’ benefit.

His hesitation gave He Tiantian the chance to interrupt, ”You don’t need to give, Beibei won’t want it!”

”Beibei doesn’t want it? Why?”

Ye Beixuan was stunned again, subconsciously blurting out.

After asking this, he realized: wait, that’s not the focus!

The focus is, ”Why doesn’t Beibei want it?”

Upon hearing Ye Beixuan’s question, He Tiantian revealed a meaningfully profound smile.

This smile seemed to say: honey, do you really not know the reason?

For the past three years, how the Ye Family treated Ye Beibei, don’t you, Ye Beixuan, have a clue?

Yes, you all have your reasons, your own explanations.

But you all were too indifferent to a teenage girl, forcing her to become a hedgehog, estranging herself from everyone in the family.

The Scumbag Dad aside, the real brother born of the same mother was closer to the mistress stepmother and half-parents’ sister... such a family, such relatives, any normal person would think of escaping, cutting ties!

Ye Beibei is seventeen years old this year, she already made her choice.

Since she wants to cut ties with Ye Cheeng, Ye Beixuan, she naturally wouldn’t accept Ye Beixuan’s gifts.

Even the financial support Ye Beixuan once gave her, this clueless girl would probably return it with interest.

No more debts! No more entanglements!

From now on, they are blood-related strangers.

Ye Beixuan, as the male lead, naturally scores high in IQ and EQ.

There wasn’t much subtlety in He Tiantian’s words too.

So, Ye Beixuan understood her implication, growing even more embarrassed.

Turns out, what he thought was a wonderful family is a hell that his real sister Ye Beibei longs to escape from!

But Ye Beixuan didn’t want to believe such a truth.

He used the excuse to go to the restroom, yet took the opportunity to take out his phone, dialing Ye Beibei’s number:

”Beibei, you recommended Junior Brother Su to invest in my tech project, right? Mm, mm, we’ve talked smoothly, and are ready to sign the contract!”

”...Thank you, Beibei, um, uh, I’ll give you some shares—”

Ye Beixuan said this, still haven’t decided how much to give Beibei.

”No need! I don’t want your shares!”

Pity, Ye Beibei didn’t even leave a chance for ”difficulty” to Ye Beixuan.

She actually refused in one stroke as ”Su Hetian” said!

”Why? Beibei, why, why don’t you want it?”

Ye Beixuan felt quite bitter inside, having answers already, yet unwilling to face them.

”No contributions, no rewards!” Ye Beibei’s tone was very firm.

”But we are real siblings, in the past, my situation was limited, couldn’t help you much. Now I’m starting my venture, I can decide on my own—” Ye Beixuan tried to struggle once more.
