The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Ye Beibei had reached a point of neither love nor hate towards Ye Cheeng and Ye Beixuan. She was truly at peace.

”...Brother, enough. I still have exercises to do! Let’s just leave it at that. Goodbye!”

Ye Beibei felt that she had expressed her meaning very clearly and saw no need to waste more time.

As she said this, without waiting for Ye Beixuan to say anything more, she hung up the phone.

The beeping sound in his ear, Ye Beixuan was still in a bit of a daze.

Soon after, a text message alert rang, finally waking Ye Beixuan up.

He picked up the phone, glanced at the screen, and saw that it was a bank transaction alert.

No need to ask, it must be Ye Beibei transferring him money.

Ye Beixuan really couldn’t say what he felt inside. He listlessly opened the message.

Ha, it really was an alert from XX Bank, with the damn amount of 37,200 yuan.

Ye Beixuan ultimately did not give away the shares, and he dejectedly returned to the café to sign the contract again.

Soon, Ye Cheeng, Qiu Wanting, Ye Muwan, and the rest of the family heard the ”good news”.

Ye Cheeng was very pleased: ”Haha, no doubt he is my son, truly capable! With just a proposal and a semi-finished product, he managed to get the second young master of the Su Family to partner with him, not bad! Not bad at all!”

Ye Cheeng was not only happy because his son was able to secure the investment. What he valued more was that Ye Beixuan actually became a partner with Su Hetian.

Su Hetian, backed by the Su and Zhao wealthy families, is undoubtedly the most prominent and outstanding among the new generation.

Being able to connect with Su Hetian, his son’s career would undoubtedly be smooth going.

Unlike Ye Cheeng’s excitement, Qiu Wanting was a bit silent, her gaze at Ye Beixuan complex—

Ye Beixuan had truly grown up, his wings had become harder than Qiu Wanting imagined!

The few companies of the Ye Family perhaps no longer mattered to Ye Beixuan.

And the few adopted sons Qiu Wanting intentionally selected might not pose a threat to Ye Beixuan.

Things seemed to be getting out of control!

Qiu Wanting’s thoughts were messy, and her wariness towards Ye Beixuan grew increasingly serious.

Ye Muwan’s focus was different from her parents’.

She was first frustrated that her brother actually secured the investment!

Wasn’t it her brother who first came to ’cry poor’ to her? At the time, she didn’t agree immediately, she was just sulking.

She had already prepared the money, a million!

As long as her brother mentioned it again and consoled her well, she would have agreed directly.

Instead, Ye Muwan waited for over a week, not for her brother’s ”reconciliation,” but for such a contract.

Wait, hold on!

Su Hetian?

Isn’t he close to Ye Beibei?

Could it be, that there’s something with Ye Beibei involved here!

It’s undeniable, Ye Muwan might be naive, but her intuition was very sharp.

She snatched the contract from Ye Cheeng’s hand, skimmed through the complex clauses, and went straight to the core details on share distribution.

”Ye Beibei holds 24%?”

It indeed involved Ye Beibei!

She even became the third-largest shareholder!

Ye Beixuan had the technology and the initial investment, so his 51% share was reasonable.

Su Hetian invested a million and got 25% of the shares, which also seemed justifiable.

But on what grounds did Ye Beibei get it?

She actually held 24% of the shares?!

Ye Muwan didn’t consider whether these shares might have been transferred to her by Su Hetian.

Because it’s impossible!

Though Su Hetian might have taken good care of Ye Beibei at school, they had no relationship, and the way they interacted didn’t seem like they were a couple.

No matter how generous or indifferent to money Su Hetian was, he couldn’t be that ”kind-hearted”.

Ye Muwan also couldn’t believe Ye Beibei invested with her own money!

What a joke!

The pocket money Ye Beibei had was merely what slipped through Ye Beixuan’s fingers.

The Chen Family did leave some properties for Ye Beibei, but they would be in her control only when she became an adult.

Even if Ye Beibei could convert these two properties now, they would only sell for three to four million at most.

While Senior Su invested a million, how could Ye Beibei, with just one-third of that, get almost the same percentage of shares, only 1% less than Senior Su?!

Excluding the impossible possibilities, there was only one explanation:

The shares were given to Ye Beibei by Ye Beixuan!

Oh, so they are indeed true siblings, appearing to be closer to this half-sister Ye Muwan.

But at crucial moments, what they truly care about is their full-blood sibling.

If Ye Muwan was only sulking with Ye Beixuan before, upon speculating the ”truth,” Ye Muwan genuinely began to resent Ye Beixuan.

The two siblings, who should have been very close, now had a thick barrier between them...
