The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Previously, I just knew Heh Yuntian had a cheerful personality and liked to interact with people.

But Han Dongmei had never seen this kind of ”smooth-talking” side of him.

The old woman across from him, with wrinkles all around her eyes, was clearly of a mother’s age.

Yet, Heh Yuntian could call her ”Big Sis” without hesitation!

Hmph, he really is a scumbag who only knows how to deceive women!

While Han Dongmei was inwardly cursing Heh Yuntian, she also felt a bit of regret: Oh, if only the system hadn’t gone dormant.

Back when the Live System was active, she just had to publicly embarrass Heh Yuntian with a few lines.

No need to say anything else, just mentioning how much money he spent of hers and how many good things he enjoyed would draw people’s attention and gossip.

As soon as Heh Yuntian received cold looks, netizens would say she had ”successfully slapped his face”.

Then, more netizens would pay attention, and her follower count and rewards would soar.

The higher these numbers, the more chances she would have for lotteries or to exchange for gifts...

How simple!

No need for her to study so hard.

Now, she’s even come to the post office looking for old newspapers to write some crap article and got bullied by some fat old woman!

The more Han Dongmei thought about it, the more annoyed she became, growing more resistant to the system in her heart.

While Han Dongmei was lost in thought, He Tiantian had already packed several manuscripts into envelopes, then filled in the addresses she had jotted down beforehand.

She stuck on the stamps and dropped the envelopes into the mailbox at the post office entrance, mission accomplished!

The whole process was smooth and pleasant, and she even managed to get some old newspapers and magazines through the help of that middle-aged staff member.

Han Dongmei’s eyes widened, and she instinctively rushed forward, pointing at the staff member and angrily questioning: ”Didn’t you just say there were no old newspapers?”

Not selling them to her but half-giving them away to ”Heh Yuntian”?

What kind of logic is that?

The staff member just rolled her eyes, ”Yeah, the post office indeed has no old newspapers. These belong to our internal staff, not the post office.”

She stuck to her official line, no need to explain anything to this brat.

These days, it’s a ”buyer’s” market, with no sense of service, complaints don’t exist either.

Having no sign on the workplace wall saying ”No unprovoked beating or scolding of customers” is already pretty good.

”...You! You!”

The Han family’s circumstances are not typical workers; her mother is a leader in the Provincial City’s Department Store.

She’s extremely familiar with these industry tricks.

Their family often buys so-called defective or processed products.

She just never expected, having received special treatment before, that coming to this rinky-dink county, she would become the suppressed one!

”Huh? Comrade Han Dongmei, you’re at the post office too!”

He Tiantian acted as if she only just noticed Han Dongmei’s presence, greeting her in a friendly manner.

”Hmph! Is it your post office? You can come, but I can’t?”

Already in a bad mood, Han Dongmei had nothing nice to say when confronting her adversary plus someone who had received special treatment.

”Hey, young lady, why do you talk as if you’ve taken gunpowder? The gentleman is being polite to you, and you’re so aggressive—”

The middle-aged woman was a bit irritated and couldn’t help but scold her a couple of times.

”Hmph! Mind your own business! Abusing public office to benefit private interest, meddling in others’ affairs, with this kind of work attitude, sooner or later someone will complain about you!”

Han Dongmei couldn’t stand it anymore, pointed at the middle-aged woman and ranted, then ran out of the post office.

Middle-aged woman: ...Damn, you annoying girl, what did I do to provoke you?

Talking about complaints, just look at yourself!

Even He Tiantian was a bit speechless, oh, this Han Dongmei, doesn’t seem to have the makings of a main character.

Flashing an apologetic smile toward the middle-aged woman, ”Sis, sorry about that, Comrade Han just has a bit of a temper, she’s actually not a bad person!”

Having already run out of the post office, Han Dongmei heard this sentence and became even more furious, turning back to shout towards the post office: ”Heh Yuntian, mind your own business!”

After shouting this, Han Dongmei disappeared from view.

Even Student Xiao D was at a loss for words.

It wasn’t until Han Dongmei had run two streets away, wandering aimlessly in the little county, that Student Xiao D couldn’t help but emerge: ”Host, that staff member wasn’t wrong, you won’t find old newspapers at the post office, you can try the recycling station!”
