The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

”Alright, Tiantian!”

Student Xiao D was only pleased when hearing that He Tiantian was continuing with her mission.

It eagerly asked, ”Tiantian, which channel do you want to go to this time?”

He Tiantian: ...

Having just experienced a random channel that felt like opening a blind box, she didn’t have any specific demands for choosing the world’s setting.

Student Xiao D didn’t notice He Tiantian’s hesitation, and operated its fluffy little body in a flurry, suddenly discovering a rather peculiar task.

It hesitated for a moment, ”Tiantian, there’s a task here—”

He Tiantian instinctively asked, ”What task? Could it be another rescue mission?”

No way, are there really that many rescue missions?

Could it be another scheming virus?!

”It’s not a rescue mission, it’s just, just—”

Student Xiao D looked at the task and then at He Tiantian, not quite knowing how to explain.

After a long while, it finally organized its words, saying slowly, ”Well, the task itself isn’t difficult, but the last writer accepted the task and hadn’t even entered the novel world, just glanced at the script, and... gave up!”

”Gave up?”

He Tiantian was stunned for a moment, ”You mean the last writer would rather lose a point than do this task?”

”...Yes!” Student Xiao D nodded somewhat sheepishly.

He Tiantian had an expression like an old man in the subway looking at a smartphone, both disdainful and speechless.

She thought to herself, the task probably isn’t hard, Xiao D has already said so.

Maybe it’s just too disgusting or world-shattering.

As someone who considers herself to have principles as a half-step villain, He Tiantian also adheres to her bottom line in the novel world.

If the task was really too unspeakable, she wouldn’t directly give up but wouldn’t easily accept such a task either.

Just like some old-fashioned tasks done before, oh, the characters, the plot, it was really unbearable to look at.

”Well, it’s not exactly disgusting, just a bit awkward!”

Student Xiao D sensed He Tiantian’s aversion and quickly explained, ”The original male and female leads of the script aren’t perfect, and the female supporting character’s reversal process indeed feels satisfying, but this doesn’t hide the virus’s harm!”

He Tiantian understood instantly!

It was probably an evil female supporting character, in the ”help” of the virus, who had a glamorous reversal, countering the original male and female leads, and then step by step reaching the peak of her life.

The readers were highly entertained, and the reversed female supporting character had neither principles nor bottom-line issues.

If putting aside the virus factor, this novel would definitely be ”modified” to be very exciting.

But, as the saying goes, the virus is uncontrollable.

Everything seems fine now, but if the virus were allowed to run rampant in the novel world, who knows what kind of trouble it might cause?

If it went out of control, the novel world could directly collapse, which would be troublesome.

It’s understood, but as a writer, still not quite willing to take on such a task that is bound to ”invite hate”.

Otherwise, the last writer wouldn’t have given up so easily.

”Tiantian, the main system also knows this task isn’t easy. So, it specially made a provision that completing this task rewards you with 6 points, and if you fail or give up midway, no points will be deducted!”

Student Xiao D spoke anxiously, fearing that He Tiantian would refuse in the next second.

He Tiantian: ... Oh wow, the main system is showing some sincerity here.

”Tiantian, the task itself really isn’t difficult, and the novel script isn’t an arduous apocalypse story, there’s no real danger. It’s just a simple era piece—”

Sensing He Tiantian’s interest, Student Xiao D continued enthusiastically, persuading desperately.

Era piece?

He Tiantian got an idea, and indeed, she hadn’t worked on an era piece in a long time, she actually missed it a bit.

However, He Tiantian still felt a bit apprehensive, saying, ”Can I have a look at the script first?”

She was genuinely curious about what kind of task could make the last writer so disdainful!

Student Xiao D wanted to shrug helplessly, pretending to be out of options, ”Tiantian, the system has rules—”

”Stop! I get it, without taking the task you can’t see the script!”

He Tiantian rolled her eyes at Student Xiao D, thought for a moment, and said, ”Alright, I’ll take this task!”

Since she was interested now, she might as well take a look.

Besides, the system has her back; even if the task fails, or if it gets too nasty and she quits midway, no points would be deducted.

Furthermore, even if the task was really intriguing, losing a point wouldn’t be that big of a deal to He Tiantian.
