The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Han Dongmei immediately accepted this reason.

Actually, for someone who has just experienced despair, even if the system hadn’t given her a reason, Han Dongmei could come up with one for it.

Because what Han Dongmei needs is the cheat’s help, and as for the cheat itself, she doesn’t really care much.

Why the system disappeared temporarily is less concerning to Han Dongmei than the live streaming interface being closed.

Though anxious inside, she cautiously asked, ”System, what does closing the direct interface mean? Are you saying I can’t earn fan value and rewards through live streaming anymore?”

If these are gone, how will she exchange them for rewards?

No rewards, how can she then take revenge on the scumbag and reverse her life?

”Don’t worry, Host. I just can’t start live streaming, but I can still issue tasks. As long as you complete the tasks successfully, you’ll get corresponding rewards!”

The mechanical voice explained slowly.

Upon hearing there were rewards, Han Dongmei instantly felt relieved.

She didn’t even ask whether the tasks would be difficult or what the penalty would be if she failed.

A certain intelligent assistant pretending to be a live streaming system couldn’t help but shake its head secretly: what a silly sweetheart, if I had bound with her earlier, I might not have been schemed against so frequently.

Of course, this thought only flashed by.

Being a Tongzi with ambitions and pursuit, encountering a stronger and more capable Host is most important.

Even if being bound to the Host may mean being despised or schemed against, it’s still better than following an incompetent Host.

A useless general tires out the entire army.

”Ding! Task issued, slap the scumbag for the second round, demand the IOU from the scumbag Heh Yuntian!”

The mechanical voice didn’t bother with extra explanations but directly issued the task: ”Complete the task, reward 20 points!”

A task has come?!

Han Dongmei’s attention instantly shifted to it, and after hearing the task content, she let out a big sigh of relief.

Fortunately, the task isn’t difficult!

Just now, the scumbag Heh Yuntian himself took the initiative to offer to write the IOU, so she doesn’t have to waste any effort at all.

”System, these reward points—”

What Han Dongmei is most concerned about is the rewards she can get from doing the tasks.

”Once the points reach a certain amount, you can exchange things in the points shop!”

The mechanical voice said slowly, ”There are many items in the points shop, including skills, black technology, and various products only available in the future!”

”Can I take a look? At the points shop, I mean?”

Han Dongmei’s heart pounded, she licked her lips and asked excitedly.

”Of course you can!”

The mechanical voice agreed very readily and directly opened a shop page, ”Look, this is the points shop!”

”Your current level is too low, and your points are too few, you can only unlock these items.”

”In the future, do more tasks, level up, and when the points reach a certain amount, you can unlock more shop pages!”

The mechanical voice was drawing a big cake.

Han Dongmei had not a bit of doubt, her eyes were filled with bright light.

She nodded vigorously, ”Alright! System, don’t worry, I’ll definitely do the tasks well!”

The system came back and even issued her a task, Han Dongmei felt like she had a backbone.

She got up from the bed, wanting to run directly to find Heh Yuntian for the IOU.

But then she suddenly felt her skin was a bit dry.

”Oh no, I must look terrible right now!”

Han Dongmei then remembered she had just cried her heart out, not only was her hair messy, but her face was covered in snot and tears.

With the water stains dried up now and her face not smeared with any cold cream, wouldn’t it feel dry and tight?

As a girl, there’s no one who doesn’t love beauty.

Especially like Han Dongmei, a young girl in her twenties, the age when appearance is most important.

Hurriedly running to the washstand nearby, there’s a red plastic round mirror nailed to the wall above the washstand.

The mirror is small, only the size of a mouth of a bowl.

Even such a small piece was bought by Han Dongmei with effort from the county’s co-op store.

In this small round mirror, a somewhat disheveled face reflects clearly.

Han Dongmei let out another cry of vexation, she hurriedly grabbed the enamel washbasin with white and green patterns, opened the door, and ran to the water tank in the courtyard to fetch half a basin of water.

Then, returning to her little room, she poured some hot water from the slightly chipped iron kettle.

Adjusting the water temperature, Han Dongmei began to wash her face.

”...”

Because Han Dongmei suddenly opened the door, Ma Xinhua and Chen Nanfang, who were frightened, scampered to hide, peeking out from the corner, seeing Han Dongmei was indeed washing her face, speechless.
