The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Hiss!

Han Dongmei tore a piece of paper from her notebook, crumpled it up in frustration, and tossed it aside.

At this moment, there were a dozen or so crumpled papers scattered across the small writing desk, on the floor next to it, and on the big shared bed.

Han Dongmei wasted half of her notebook, yet couldn’t even write a few words.

Writing is really difficult!

Even though she took the Clear Spirit Pill rewarded by the system, Han Dongmei indeed felt her mind seemed a bit sharper.

But, it was only a bit better, not so much that she went from knowing nothing to being amazing.

There seemed to be things she wanted to write in her mind, but she just couldn’t get them down on paper.

Gripping the pen tightly, Han Dongmei grit her teeth and continued to write.

This time, it seemed she wrote a few more words, but ultimately, Han Dongmei ripped it out with a tearing sound and crumpled it into a paper ball.

Student Xiao D could hardly bear to watch any longer.

Although He Tiantian had told it not to bother with Han Dongmei for the time being,

it had finally encountered a ”Host” other than He Tiantian, and this ”Host” was quite weak.

Student Xiao D really wanted to experience what it’s like to be a ”Guide.”

”Host, I suggest you read more newspapers and see how those articles in the supplements are written!”

”Isn’t there a saying, ’Even if you can’t write poetry, reading Three Hundred Tang Poems will allow you to recite them’!”

Writing does require talent.

However, sometimes reading more can also help you write.

Such articles may lack some Spiritual Energy and possess more craftiness, but right now, it’s not about turning Han Dongmei into a great literary figure, it’s just about earning some money through writing, so the standards can be lowered a bit.

Just like many online writers in later generations, many of them are ordinary people, perhaps without much literary talent. Some even don’t have high education levels.

But by reading a lot, knowing the trends in online writing, even if they just follow the crowd, they can still produce works.

These ordinary online writers might not become legendary figures with one book, but they can earn some royalty money.

Practice makes perfect, diligence makes up for clumsiness.

Thinking this way, Student Xiao D made a suggestion to Han Dongmei.

Han Dongmei: ...

Her limited patience was about to run out.

She really didn’t want to deal with this exhausting writing.

Student Xiao D sensed her low spirits, afraid she might give up due to this setback, quickly said, ”Don’t you want to show up Heh Yuntian?”

This sentence indeed hit Han Dongmei’s weak spot.

Exactly!

Show up Heh Yuntian!

Defeat him in his own field!

”Host, that Heh Yuntian next door has already started writing, and he’s written several articles in one go. When his articles get published, he’ll earn a few dozen yuan just in royalties...”

Disguised as a Wild System, Student Xiao D noticed Han Dongmei’s interest pique, and quickly pressed on.

Indeed, upon hearing that ”Heh Yuntian” had already written articles, Han Dongmei became anxious.

”Fine! System, I’ll go to the county tomorrow and get some old newspapers!”

”Hatred” reignited Han Dongmei’s fighting spirit, she nodded vigorously and told Student Xiao D.

”Yes, get more old newspapers and see how others write. The more you read, the better you’ll get!”

Student Xiao D continued encouraging Han Dongmei, ”Go for it, I believe in you!”

Han Dongmei: ...Hehe, I don’t even have much confidence myself.

But, even though she said that, Han Dongmei didn’t really want to give up.

Better to lose face than to lose spirit!

Even if she can’t defeat ”Heh Yuntian,” Han Dongmei wants to show people that she’s not just a love-obsessed, romantic brain.

She can write too, and she can, using her own ability, leave this small mountain village and become the pride of her family and relatives!

He Tiantian, unaware of Han Dongmei’s psychological journey, held a pen and buried herself in writing the article.

Knock, knock, knock!

A knock on the door suddenly sounded.

Along with the rhythmic knocking, there was a gentle female voice: ”Yuntian, are you there?”

He Tiantian’s hand paused in its writing, she showed no change in expression, simply pretending to be delighted as she replied, ”Yes!”

With that, she stood up, walked quickly to the door, and opened it, revealing a face full of smiles: ”Zhuoya, you were looking for me!”

The visitor was none other than the original novel’s female lead, Zhuoya.

She’s twenty this year, the age when girls are most beautiful.

She’s slightly taller than Han Dongmei, He Tiantian estimated her to be about 165cm tall.

With a head of thick, black long hair, instead of braiding it, she styled it into two low ponytails, lazily draping over her chest.
