The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 948: Chapter 367: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 11)

He Tiantian has been formally learning to paint for almost three months now.

Her sketching, quick sketching, and use of colors have all been improving at an incredibly fast pace.

To say she progresses by leaps and bounds is not an exaggeration.

He Tianxin has personally seen He Tiantian’s works, and even when Tiantian goes to the streets to paint from life, drawing some partial sketches of places, without any complete works, the skill could already be seen in the details of noses, eyes, or hands.

Not to mention, He Tianxin personally heard Qin Song and several other teachers praising He Tiantian with a near envy and jealousy.

He Tianxin finally confirmed one thing: Unlike the previous life, this time He Tiantian truly has great talent.

But, so what?

In history, so many impoverished, abandoned by friends and family, great painters, and master grandmasters lived miserably during their lifetime and only became renowned after their death.

Did they not have talent?

Were their paintings not good enough?

Art involves too many factors.

Having good talent doesn’t guarantee success, more precisely, it’s impossible to reach the pinnacle of life while alive.

So, having talent does not equate to success!

However, having talent can lead to larger and deeper tragedies.

For example, in the past life, He Tiantian had no talent for painting; her continued struggle in the mire of art was purely out of selfishness and stubbornness.

Mr. and Mrs. He were initially deceived, but after facing disappointment repeatedly, they eventually realized the truth.

However, by that time, it was too late to withdraw; they were tied by familial love and were dragged into the abyss by their youngest daughter.

Now, everyone says He Tiantian has talent.

But if He Tiantian still cannot make a name in the art world, then not only He Tiantian herself, but even Mr. and Mrs. He, and even He Tianxin would feel unwilling!

Try once!

Try again!

The price of artworks is controlled by investors, collectors, and other capital forces, so it’s a matter of exerting all effort to help their talented daughter (sister) try once.

Yet, the waters of the art market run too deep; their He Family’s money, all thrown in, wouldn’t even make a splash.

Perhaps, in this lifetime, because of He Tiantian’s ”talent,” the He Family might live even worse than in the past life!

In that past life, He Tiantian signed with a gallery.

Other painters, signing with galleries, could sell paintings for profit.

But what about He Tiantian? Her paintings didn’t work, and her ”acting” was no good either.

She could only cosplay an artist in front of family; when outside, like some painters, trying to perform desperately, freely displaying her ”art,” she just couldn’t do it.

Unable to boast, no one paid for her dubious scribbles.

The gallery’s agent gave a lousy advice: ”If no one buys, then buy it yourself.”

”Those nouveau riche in the country, they don’t understand art at all. They only know one thing: expensive!”

As long as the artist inflates the painting’s price, once the class is elevated, those suckers would be deceived.

This statement isn’t entirely wrong.

After all, many so-called artworks are inflated in this way.

And some famous painters, their works selling for high prices, also have hired people for the purpose.

But, He Tiantian really is different from them.

Those painters at least had some international experience; even if through connections, through hype, they still had that ”style.”

And He Tiantian?

She had nothing!

The local tycoons in the country may not understand art, but they aren’t fools.

Why would they easily be deceived?

The only ones truly paying for He Tiantian’s ”art” were the He Family.

Two buildings were sold, two shops also became sacrifices.

All it got back was a pile of unsellable ghost talismans.

At this point, Mr. and Mrs. He were completely awakened, realizing that their daughter not only lacked painting talent but couldn’t even pretend to be an artist.

They might still indulge He Tiantian to continue painting, freeloading, but they wouldn’t sell the last house the family lived in.

However, things are different in this lifetime; He Tiantian has talent.

If she cannot succeed, then it must be due to lack of opportunity, or capital being too nasty.

To help her become a painter, the He Family will surely put in everything they have.

By then, even the last house might be lost!

The various tragedies of the past were too horrific, and He Tianxin really finds it hard to think of things in a positive light.

After being reborn, He Tianxin’s biggest wish is to prevent He Tiantian from becoming a painter again!

Originally, in her plan, as long as she exposes He Tiantian’s lack of talent, she could have a good talk with their parents.

Even if she can’t stop He Tiantian from continuing to learn painting, at least she could divide the family property early.
