The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 945: Chapter 366: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 10)

”Rembrandt’s light! I’ve got it!”

He Tiantian finished the last stroke, sighed softly, and then tossed the pencil aside.

She felt completely exhausted, hunger and fatigue all rushing in.

”Mom, I’m so hungry!”

Only then did He Tiantian seem to realize that her real mother was right beside her.

When she looked up and shouted she was hungry, she also saw her real dad and casually asked, ”Huh? Dad, you’re awake?”

Tian Shumin & He Guotai:...

We’ve been right in front of you for a long time, and you acted like we didn’t exist.

He Tiantian let go of the drawing board and prepared to stand up, stretch, and move her muscles.

But she noticed a figure swiftly passing in front of her, taking the drawing board with them.

Who is this?

What are they doing?

He Tiantian was startled and stood there dumbfounded as the other person ”snatched” the sketch she had just completed.

”Amazing! The use of light and shadow here is simply incredible!”

Qin Song was holding the drawing board, looking at the freshly drawn sketch.

It was still a nest with several little birds, the layout and content almost identical to the first drawing.

But the way it appeared on paper gave a completely different impression.

To put it another way, the first drawing demonstrated a solid art foundation, but it seemed the artist hadn’t held a brush in a long time and was slowly finding their touch.

Whereas the last drawing seemed as if a master was within her.

Rembrandt was a great painter from the fifteenth century, a famously giant figure in art history.

He was most famous for Rembrandt lighting, pushing the use of light to its extreme.

This technique has profoundly influenced art, including other forms such as photography.

Learning to draw and sketch often involves mastering lines and shadows.

For the three to four hundred years since Rembrandt, countless painters have studied and applied his use of light and shadow.

This technique isn’t a secret but grasping its essence is no easy task.

And the sketch in Qin Song’s hand was almost the ultimate application of Rembrandt’s light and shadow.

If the third sketch Qin Song saw before had far surpassed his graduate level in oil painting.

Then the fourth sketch indeed had the demeanor of a master.

Just with this skill alone, she would be qualified to teach at any art academy.

”...” He Tiantian looked in astonishment at this stranger, whom she didn’t know.

However, this person seemed to exude a faint ”kindred” aura.

Turning her head, He Tiantian glanced at her real mom, Tian Shumin, ”Mom, he, he—” Who is he?

Tian Shumin leaned next to her daughter’s ear and whispered, ”Tiantian, this is the painter teacher your sister mentioned!”

He Tiantian was still somewhat puzzled, even if this person is an art class teacher, what does he have to do with us?

Even if he’s recruiting, there’s no need to come to a student’s home.

He Guotai, however, was following Qin Song, his face full of tentativeness and hope as he cautiously asked, ”Teacher Qin, my Tiantian draws quite well, right? She should have no problem with the art examination, right?”

He Guotai’s inquiry brought Qin Song back to reality.

”The drawing is excellent!”

Qin Song affirmed with a hint of envy.

This is talent, truly not something you can learn.

As for the art exam?

Qin Song carefully chose his words and said, ”The art exam has three parts: sketching, quick sketching, and coloring!”

He pointed at the sketch paper in his hand, ”Your daughter’s sketch is very good. Although it has some of her own style, it’s still quite traditional and academic.”

”The Central Academy of Fine Arts, or our province’s S Art, both encourage this style.”

However, the professional art examination is not just about sketching.

There are two other examination parts.

But, considering this female student’s sketching skills, Qin Song thought her quick sketching shouldn’t be too poor.

As for coloring, it also requires talent.

And this tall and thin, pretty high school girl before him seemed least lacking in talent.

Qin Song carefully explained the three parts of the art examination and confidently said, ”Your daughter has a real talent for drawing. As long as she puts her heart into it, she should easily pass the professional exam!”

Even if she doesn’t get into the Central Academy of Fine Arts, coming to our S Art would certainly be no problem.

”My Tiantian truly has talent? So, so can she learn from you?”

Hearing a professional praise their daughter’s talent, He Guotai and Tian Shumin were both excited and delighted.

”She can! But my level is just average. If this student has interest and time, she can come to our studio and attend our teachers’ classes!”
