The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 920: Chapter 357: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 3)

The child was no longer sickly, and she smoothly made it to her senior year.

Senior year, such a crucial year.

Work hard, endure one tough year, and it could change your whole life.

Mr. He and Mrs. He focused solely on their child, and thus raised their expectations for He Tiantian.

He Tiantian was used to being lazy and held a ”close enough is good enough” attitude, and she didn’t really want to strive.

Twenty-four hours a day, she spent eighteen or nineteen hours studying, even dreaming about memorizing essays and English vocabulary.

Life as a senior is practically inhumane.

He Tiantian wanted to escape, but she knew the college entrance exam was indeed the most important test of her life.

Even if she couldn’t get into a prestigious university, she still aimed for an undergraduate degree.

That way, she could have a more relaxed job in the future.

He Tiantian didn’t want to end up working in a factory or as a waitress or sales clerk because she didn’t have a degree.

She’s the little princess of the He Family, how could she serve others?

It’s also mainly embarrassing.

Being an office worker in a government job or a white-collar worker in a foreign company, dignified and easy, how nice?!

But... her grades were truly not good enough.

If she earnestly took the college entrance exam, she might not even get into a vocational college!

He Tiantian lay weakly on her desk, twirling a ballpoint pen with her slender white fingers.

Ring!

The self-study session was over.

The classmates didn’t get up en masse, but continued sitting at their desks studying.

Only a few students went to the bathroom or whispered in conversation.

He Tiantian’s seat was relatively at the back, not only because her grades weren’t good but also because she was relatively tall.

A girl at 168 cm wasn’t the tallest, but she wasn’t short either.

After turning sixteen, He Tiantian’s body started to develop, quickly shooting up in height.

Since then, she always sat in the last three rows of the class.

Of course, poor academic performance and low ranking were also reasons for sitting in the back.

And like He Tiantian, most of the students sitting in the back had poor grades, some were even athletes or art students with special skills.

At this moment, two special skill students were whispering—

”The art exam registration is at the end of the month, I plan to apply to S Arts.”

”I’m going to the Capital City, to apply to the Capital City Film Academy. But, the competition there is fierce, I’m worried that even if I pass the art exam, my cultural scores might not be high enough to get in.”

”I heard that last year the admission line for the Capital City Film Academy was 423 points, your usual scores are okay; give it a go, and it shouldn’t be a problem!”

”Ah, over four hundred points, I’m really not sure I can do it!”

Just over four hundred points on the college entrance exam to get into a university in the Capital City? And it’s an undergraduate program?!

He Tiantian’s eyes lit up suddenly like a spark, as if she had found the secret to success.

She quietly turned her head, using the corner of her eye to glance at the two classmates speaking behind her.

They were a boy and a girl.

The boy was an art student, rumored to have won the second place in some national youth art competition, even got extra points in the high school entrance exam.

The girl was the class beauty, learned dance from a young age, and had acted in a drama. Although it was a minor role with just two lines, she still showed her face on TV.

It’s this girl who said she wanted to apply to the Capital City Film Academy.

Their academic performances weren’t particularly good, in fact, in the recent monthly exam, their class ranks were even lower than He Tiantian’s.

But since they’re art students, they can take the art exam.

As long as they pass the art exam, scoring three or four hundred on the entrance exam would get them into university!

Unlike ordinary students like He Tiantian who need at least five hundred points just to reach the undergraduate admission threshold!

Art exam? Art student?!

Only needing three or four hundred points, or even lower in the entrance exam!

These words kept swirling in He Tiantian’s mind, and suddenly, a flash of inspiration—

Isn’t it just art talent, I have that too.

I, I also learned drawing when I was young, and my tutor back then even praised me for having talent.

Unfortunately, He Tiantian was too young and unhealthy at the time, plus she didn’t want to endure hardship, so she quit after a few classes.

However, despite high school’s hellish grind, practicing drawing wasn’t that hard!

At least it lowers the threshold, allowing He Tiantian to take a shortcut.

”Yes, I am going to start drawing again, I want to take the art exam too!”

He Tiantian had an idea, but quickly she hesitated again: ”Dad and Mom probably won’t agree!”

Though art students can lower college entrance scores, employment after graduation is tough.

Especially for painting, it’s hard to make a living from it.

He Tiantian knew her parents cared for her, but recently, in order for her to get into a good college, they seemed unusually strict.

Unless there was a compelling reason, if she suddenly proposed to study painting and want to go to an art college, her parents would definitely not agree.

He Tiantian bit her lower lip, pondering for a long time, finally coming up with an idea.

Ring!

The class bell rang, and the homeroom teacher walked in with a stack of test papers.

Seeing the test papers, He Tiantian’s resolve grew stronger.

She closed her eyes, her body relaxed, slowly leaning back...
