The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 906: Chapter 253: Screw Your Tragic Beauty (Part 23)

Having clarified her son’s attitude, Tian Daniu, oh no, should be called Tian Tian now.

Tian Tian took two documents and went directly to the Imperial Palace.

”...My younger sister’s husband is actually Marquis Pingnan?”

After hearing Tian Tian’s story, Emperor Tiantai was somewhat surprised.

His gaze deepened, his expression stern, revealing no joy or anger.

”He should be considered a former husband! After all, he has already written me a divorce letter, and my father has accepted it on my behalf!”

Tian Tian did not delve into Emperor Tiantai’s emotions but spoke with a hint of grievance.

”Moreover, he has long considered my son and me as dead. It was indeed my fault that led him to repair the dam, but I am after all his first wife. Without confirming whether I am dead or alive, he remarried another...”

Tian Tian resembled a pitiful abandoned wife who sought her husband for over ten years, only to be met with a scoundrel.

She confided her grievances and reluctance to Emperor Tiantai.

”...Those things are not much, after all, it was chaotic at that time, and there was a famine in our hometown. It’s normal for He Erniu to mistakenly think my son and I were dead.”

”But, but how could he write a divorce letter? And sever the father-son relationship with my Jue’er?”

”Writing such two pieces of documents indicates that he himself was not entirely certain whether my son and I were dead or alive.”

”This was to guard against us still being alive and possibly coming to disrupt his new family in the future.”

”Don’t say he wasn’t involved, that an outsider made the decision on his behalf! Humph, if he hadn’t usually shown such thoughts, how would his wife dare to make decisions for him?”

”Furthermore, although He Erniu was absent, his personal seal was in his wife’s hands.”

”How important is the personal seal? Even a farmer woman like me, who can barely recognize words, knows this. He Erniu is no longer the impoverished farmer of the past but Marquis Pingnan!”

”Since he entrusted his personal seal to his wife, it indicates that he has entrusted everything to her management!”

”So, regardless of what his wife does, He Erniu must take responsibility for it!”

Tian Tian continued speaking incessantly. Initially, her tone carried resentment.

But as she continued, there was no longer much grievance or hatred when she mentioned He Erniu.

It was as if she was talking about a stranger, not the husband she was concerned about.

Emperor Tiantai, very astute, quickly noticed this issue.

A flash of insight appeared in his eyes.

It seems his sworn sister, didn’t have particularly deep feelings for He Guozhong as her husband.

After all, they weren’t some passionate lovers; they were just an ordinary couple.

Separated for over ten years, individually experiencing famine, war, and other hardships, their spirits had long been tempered to be exceedingly resilient.

Compared to so-called erratic emotions, they valued their own interests more.

He Guozhong, being the newly appointed Marquis of Founding, yet with shallow roots, needed the support of the Yue Family and Qin Family.

Hence, He Guozhong gave his seal to Lady Qin, allowing her to handle everything.

Lady Qin dared to handle matters regarding the original wife and son on behalf of He Guozhong, not only because her family was strong but also because He Guozhong had shown some attitudes in the past.

That is, He Guozhong himself was very averse and disdainful of his former wife and son.

As for Tian Tian, she was no longer the farmer woman she once was; she was the court’s first and only woman prince of a different surname.

Why would she want to entangle herself with a former husband she had no affection for instead of living comfortably as a noble prince?

”...My younger sister, what do you mean?”

Emperor Tiantai had already made a guess in his heart, yet he asked in feigned puzzlement.

Tian Tian hurriedly knelt, saying solemnly, ”Saint, you know me, I haven’t read many books, yet I understand some principles.”

”A forcibly twisted melon is not sweet. Since He Erniu never cared about my son and me, we shouldn’t demand too much!”

”He Erniu wrote a divorce letter and a document severing the father-son relationship, which my father accepted for me, so I accept it!”

”So, I ask the Saint to help make a witness, that from the day these two documents are filed at the Magistrate Mansion, Jue’er and I will have no relation to the He Family!”

”Additionally, I wish to change Jue’er’s surname to Tian and request the title of Princely Heir for him.”

After saying all this, Tian Tian heavily bowed her head, her attitude very determined.

Seeing Tian Tian eager to sever ties with He Guozhong, combined with her actions today, Emperor Tiantai had an understanding in his heart.

”Does Jue’er agree?”

After all, being sworn siblings in name, He Jue, oh no, from now on should be called Tian Jue.

Emperor Tiantai was quite familiar with this convenient nephew, Tian Jue.
