The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 942: Chapter 365: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 9)

Tiantian!!

Has she, has she fainted again?

Mrs. He, Tian Shumin, was extremely panicked and quickly ran towards her daughter’s bedroom.

Bam!

Tian Shumin directly pushed the door open, and the door slammed into the wall, rebounding back and nearly hitting her forehead.

But Tian Shumin couldn’t care about that. She used her shoulder to push the door open, and rushed into the room.

No one on the floor!

No one on the bed either.

Wait, it seems Tiantian is sitting by the window, staring blankly at something outside.

Tian Shumin’s heart suddenly tightened. Tiantian, Tiantian wouldn’t do anything rash, would she?

Even though their home is only on the third floor, the windowsill is still more than ten meters from the ground.

If she jumps and lands headfirst, her life could be over.

Tian Shumin opened her mouth to shout, but feared scaring her daughter. Even if Tiantian wasn’t trying to commit suicide, she might be startled and fall instead.

Tian Shumin swallowed hard and cautiously walked to the window, reaching out to grab her daughter’s arm, and finally felt a bit more at ease.

Got her!

She grabbed Tiantian’s arm. This way, even if there’s an accident, she could catch her daughter in time.

Thinking of ”accidents,” Tian Shumin couldn’t help but tighten her grip, as if her daughter might fall out of the window in the next second.

And instinctively, she just wanted to hold onto her daughter, using all her strength to save her.

”Ow!” He Tiantian suddenly cried out in pain.

The pain in her arm snapped her completely back to reality.

He Tiantian first looked at the ”culprit” causing her pain—uh, a somewhat damp hand.

Following the hand with her eyes, they finally landed on Tian Shumin’s face.

He Tiantian looked at her real mother’s panicked expression in surprise and blurted out, ”Mom, what’s wrong with you?”

Tian Shumin heard her daughter speak, but became even more worried.

Because she noticed that her daughter was now dull and unresponsive, completely different from her usual lively and smart self.

”Tiantian, are you okay?”

Tian Shumin suppressed her internal panic and worry and tried her best to speak in a gentle voice, ”Why didn’t you make any noise? What are you doing alone in the room?”

He Tiantian seemed not fully awake yet, responding purely on instinct, ”I’m fine! I was drawing.”

Drawing is a quiet activity; she certainly wouldn’t make much noise.

”Drawing? Then why aren’t you seated over there, but instead run over to the window? And with the window open?”

It’s October already, though it hasn’t cooled down yet, it’s not as hot as summer.

During the day, the window can be opened for ventilation, but by evening, it’s basically necessary to close the window to prevent the room from getting too cold.

But it was almost six o’clock now, the window and curtains should have been closed.

Yet their daughter had the window wide open and was sitting directly on the windowsill.

This didn’t look like drawing at all; it looked like—

Jumping out of the window to commit suicide—Tian Shumin didn’t even want to think about those words.

”Oh, you mean this!”

He Tiantian seemed to finally come to her senses, pointing to a bird’s nest on the tree outside the window, ”Mom, look, there’s a bird’s nest there, with a few little birds in it—”

Tian Shumin didn’t quite understand, but still followed He Tiantian’s finger to look.

Their home was on the third floor, and a few trees were planted in front of the building. From He Tiantian’s bedroom window, you could see the treetops.

On the treetop of one of the big trees, there was a simple bird’s nest.

It was built by birds using twigs and grass.

Whenever Tian Shumin tidied her daughter’s room, she would hear birds chirping outside, but she had never noticed there was a bird’s nest.

But, even with a bird’s nest there, what’s that got to do with drawing?

Wait!

Tian Shumin seemed to realize something and hurriedly lowered her head to look at the drawing board in He Tiantian’s hands.

On the drawing board was a piece of sketch paper, and on the white page, there was a drawing of a tree branch. On the branch, there was a bird’s nest, with a few fluffy little heads poking out from the edge of the nest.

”Tiantian, did you draw this?”

Tian Shumin’s eyes widened in surprise, staring incredulously at the drawing.

Oh my, Tiantian’s drawing is really good.

This wasn’t just a mother’s biased perception, but sincere amazement.

She didn’t understand art, but she knew what she saw.

Look at how Tiantian drew it—this bird’s nest, this branch, and those little heads.

Simple lines, yet vividly lifelike, almost like a photograph.
