The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 923: Chapter 358: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 2)_3

”Doctor, how is my daughter?”

”Is she alright? Doctor, is my daughter okay now?”

Mr. and Mrs. He asked anxiously.

The class teacher also hurried over, ”Doctor, what’s the situation?”

The doctor responsible for the emergency didn’t mind the commotion and said, ”The exact cause of the patient’s condition needs further examination, but since she was brought in promptly, her heartbeat has already been restored, and all her vital signs have returned to normal.”

”If there are no other sudden complications, she should wake up soon!”

Mr. and Mrs. He were first relieved, then worried.

They were relieved their daughter was saved, but worried because the cause of her condition hadn’t been identified. What if it’s something serious?

The hearts of Mr. and Mrs. He were like a roller coaster, going up and down.

More than an hour later, He Tiantian finally woke up, though she wasn’t fully conscious yet.

Mr. and Mrs. He quickly pushed her to undergo various examinations, like CT, MRI, and X-rays.

After a series of examinations, the results showed that her physical functions were normal.

As for why she suddenly fainted, and had a cardiac arrest, the doctors couldn’t find the reason.

Ultimately, they could only consider psychological factors.

As a senior high school student, her parents had academic expectations for her, and He Tiantian, already physically weak, was crushed by the heavy workload and immense pressure!

This was the most reasonable and the only explanation that made sense.

”Don’t give your child too much pressure in the future!” the doctor reminded the He couple with an accusatory glance.

In fact, there was no need for the doctor to say anything; the He couple already regretted it deeply.

Then, the call from the class teacher made the He couple even more guilty.

At noon, after seeing He Tiantian safely wheeled out of the operating room, the class teacher took their leave.

Back at school, after comforting the students, the class teacher began checking He Tiantian’s desk, books, and notebooks.

The class teacher thought that maybe they could find some clues in He Tiantian’s personal belongings.

At least, they wanted to know if the pressure He Tiantian was under was solely due to the college entrance exams or if there were other reasons.

As a result, the class teacher did find something.

The class teacher held a math test paper, where the front was full of ”×”, and the score on the paper was a pitiful 53 points.

This was from a total score of 150, yet He Tiantian had only scored a third of the points.

But that wasn’t the main point; the main point was the back of the test paper, where He Tiantian had scribbled many words with a pen.

Among some random scribbles, one sentence drew the class teacher’s attention—

”I want to draw! I want to learn art! I want to take the art exams!!”

And the two students sitting behind He Tiantian also mentioned that they had previously discussed art exams during breaks.

The class teacher felt that they might have found the reason behind He Tiantian’s sudden fainting!

”Drawing?”

Holding the latest model of a certain phone, Mr. He was taken aback after hearing the class teacher’s speculation.

Standing by him, listening on the phone, Mrs. He seemed to remember something and quickly said: ”Yes! When Tiantian was in elementary school, she learned drawing. I remember the teacher at that art class said Tiantian had talent!”

Mrs. He was absolutely falling into the common trap of parents, remembering any slight praise (even if only casual) their child received quite vividly.

Moreover, Mrs. He wore the ”loving mother” filter.

In her eyes, her daughter was indeed very talented.

When the teacher praised her daughter’s talent, it must be true!

”Unfortunately, back then Tiantian got pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital for a whole month.”

After she was discharged, they focused on taking care of Tiantian and even her regular school studies were delayed, let alone interest classes.

”Oh dear, Tiantian’s potential was delayed by her health. She must really love drawing!”

The more Mrs. He thought about it, the more likely it seemed, and she became increasingly upset, ”She must have felt upset hearing that her classmates could continue to study art in college—”

Although Mr. He didn’t know his daughter had a talent for drawing, he loved her dearly.

Well then, if it’s about learning to draw, she’ll do it!

No matter if she could eventually make a living out of it or not, as long as it makes the child happy, they, as parents, would support it!

Even if the family wasn’t in a position to afford it, parents would still grit their teeth to create opportunities for their child, right?!

The couple realized their child’s ”mental burden” and reached a consensus.

When He Tiantian fully regained consciousness, they didn’t wait for her to speak and said directly, ”Tiantian, don’t be upset, if you want to learn to draw, we’ll go for it!”

”Yes, once you recover, we’ll find the best art class for you, buy the best art supplies...”

He Tiantian: ...
