The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 531: Chapter 222: The Top-grade Classical Prose (Part 14)_2

Xiao Nan finally turned nineteen, studied diligently, and ultimately got into a university in Capital City, where she met the male lead. Only then did she gradually find a reason.

She took the cutting-edge technology she got from her group chats and, by hinting, reminded Su Zhichen of it.

Su Zhichen was already quite intelligent, his ability was outstanding, and with the ”inspiration” from his girlfriend, ideas flowed and he made many contributions to the aviation industry.

Unfortunately, the author of the original novel placed more emphasis on emotional description, and the group chats mainly served to improve the lives of the female and male lead.

Technology and such were just briefly touched upon; the novel was essentially all about the sweet love story of the male lead and female lead.

If treated as a common online romance novel, there’s nothing wrong with this script.

But, as luck would have it, the author felt that her writing about aviation high-tech made some connection to a technologically powerful country.

She applied to participate in the ”My Great Country Dream” literary competition and, as a result, faced a barrage of complaints from a group of readers.

Well, setting aside the author’s delusional self-destructive behavior, the settings for the male lead and female lead are still pretty good.

The male lead is a young aviation prodigy, and though the female lead comes from a rural background, she has the Golden Finger and is also very hardworking.

”You’re amazing, and I’m not too shabby either! You’re a tech mogul, and I’m a literary superstar!”

The female lead and male lead were equally matched; they achieved greatness together, supported each other, and in a special era, they composed a sweet and heartwarming love song.

He Tiantian: ”Once the male lead appears, there’ll naturally be a female lead waiting for him. So, what does this have to do with me?”

Student Xiao D was taken aback for a moment, then rallied his spirits, ”Aren’t you curious about what your family has to do with the male lead?”

He Tiantian’s character was set up to be a top-grade sacrificial lamb, and the existence of such top-grade characters, sacrificial lambs, villains, and so on, was meant to highlight the protagonists and drive the story forward.

So, although He Tiantian or the entire He Family might not have a direct relationship with the male and female lead, they were certainly entangled in some way.

He Tiantian sighed helplessly; dealing with an idiotic assistant sometimes really left her speechless.

He Tiantian continued to write swiftly with both hands, yet the part of her brain for chatting privately was still communicating with Student Xiao D, ”Xiao D, the original character’s older brother is in aviation.”

”Although He Weiguo leans more towards document translation or foreign negotiations, he is a professional engineer too!”

Since they’re both in aviation, He Tiantian had every reason to speculate that the male lead and He Weiguo were colleagues, perhaps even those exceptionally talented individuals who were equally matched and formidable.

Perhaps the author would even make an effort to depict just how excellent and outstanding He Weiguo was.

And to stand equal or even outshine such an excellent individual, the male lead would appear even more impressive.

The times when demoting rivals was used to highlight protagonists are gone; people now prefer plots where the villain is powerful, but the protagonist manages to take the villain down.

Of course, He Weiguo was definitely not a villain since he could potentially be friends with the male lead.

How could the male lead be friends with a villain without knowing it?

Birds of a feather flock together; if He Weiguo was hanging out with the male lead, then his own attributes must be quite stellar.

But, he also had to be less capable than the male lead, so it must be his family that held him back.

The original He Tiantian was this top-grade sister who held him back.

Almost effortlessly, He Tiantian guessed the original plot’s setting for He Weiguo.

Student Xiao D: ...Okay, definitely deserves to be Tiantian, her mind works well to begin with, and now with the boost from the Golden Finger, it’s become a ”Human-shaped Computer,” and her intellect has reached an extraordinary level.

Random guesses and she unveils the hidden plot lines not written in the script.

Indeed, it was because He Weiguo was forced out of the research institute that Su Zhichen, having no competition, rapidly rose to become an aviation genius!

The reason He Weiguo left was that he got saddled with a sister who was a disaster for him, his parents, his entire family.

Of course, the character ”He Tiantian” in the script didn’t even get the chance to make a proper appearance, nor did she deserve to have a name.

It was only mentioned with regret in a casual conversation between the male lead and the female lead: ”Weiguo really was unlucky, burdened with a sister who defected from the country, preventing him from joining the Foreign Affairs Department, making it impossible for him to stay in the institute, and was assigned to a deserted island!”

And with that, the He Family’s role ended.

When they reappeared, it was several years later, the male lead having achieved fame and success, and he unexpectedly meets a middle-aged man with a weather-beaten face; at the time, he just felt the man seemed familiar.
