The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 524: Chapter 220: The Top-grade Classical Prose (Part 12)

”Old He, have you lost your mind?”

Factory Director Yang frantically circled around He Yaohua, glancing at his innocent face and then turning to look at the closed meeting room.

After a long time, he finally let out a long sigh, grabbed He Yaohua’s sleeve, and pulled him into a corner.

”Documents are inanimate, people are alive. As long as we have Tiantian, how many documents could we possibly want?”

”Tiantian is our factory’s living treasure at Plant 3518, such an important asset should be well protected!”

It’s not just about deploying a couple of sentinels; even applying to higher authorities for protective personnel would be fully justified.

Right!

Factory Director Yang’s eyes lit up; he was about to apply to increase the protection level for He Tiantian!

”Old Yang, I know Tiantian’s importance, but the problem is, she’s not technically one of our factory staff yet!”

He Yaohua knew better than anyone that his daughter was a treasure, but he also knew that principles must not be overlooked.

He Tiantian wasn’t a staff member of the military factory; she was merely a family member.

He Yaohua bringing her into a department that required strict confidentiality and allowing her to access classified documents had already been a serious breach of discipline.

If he were to arrange any security personnel for her as well, that would be—

He Yaohua wasn’t afraid of external rumors, but he didn’t want his daughter to be thrust into the spotlight.

”Who says Tiantian isn’t one of our factory personnel?”

Factory Director Yang glared, commanding with the assertiveness of a bandit who had fought alongside brother troops for combat opportunities or spoils, ”Comrade He Tiantian is our special-hire engineer at Plant 3518 and enjoys expert treatment!”

Thus, sentry duties, salary, and expert allowances should all be provided at the highest standard.

Factory Director Yang may have lacked education, but he deeply understood the significance of talent. He had directly claimed He Tiantian for his own territory.

If it weren’t for needing to talk to He Yaohua for a bit longer, Factory Director Yang would have rushed back to his office to complete all the procedures for He Tiantian!

”...Is this really okay?” He Yaohua was already quite tempted.

If He Tiantian wasn’t his own daughter, he would certainly do the same.

However, because he and He Tiantian were blood-related father and daughter, certain things made him hesitant.

”What’s wrong with it! In appointing the capable, family relationships should not deter us! Old He, be mindful with principles, don’t go to extremes!”

Factory Director Yang understood He Yaohua’s concerns, clapped him on the shoulder, and reassured, ”Don’t worry, I’ll handle this matter. Tiantian is talented, and I must retain this asset for Plant 3518!”

”Alright!” With Factory Director Yang being so straightforward, any hesitation from He Yaohua would seem overly scrupulous.

He agreed in a voice, indicating that he would co-sign with Factory Director Yang to officially recruit He Tiantian into the military factory.

”Okay, I’ll handle the procedures; you quickly go and deliver pig’s feet to Tiantian—oh no, I mean to our Engineer He.”

Having successfully retained a top-grade talent, Factory Director Yang was very pleased. He even had the mood to joke with He Yaohua.

He Yaohua also laughed, pointing vaguely in the air at him, then carrying a bowl, he entered the meeting room.

After He Tiantian had silently copied the documents, she found an empty room and ate the meltingly tender, well-flavored pig’s feet, drank a cup of milk, and felt her slightly stiff brain infused with new vitality.

OK!

She could burst her liver again, silently copying another document.

He Tiantian cleaned her hands and face and returned to her desk to continue her frantic writing.

Meanwhile, Factory Director Yang swiftly ran back to his office, first to arrange various employment procedures for He Tiantian.

Then, he picked up a red telephone from his desk and dialed a number.

He stood upright, maintaining a respectful posture even though no one could see him.

Soon, the call connected and a deep, commanding male voice came from the speaker, ”Hello? Is that Xiao Yang?”

”Senior leader, it’s me. I need to report something to you!”

Factory Director Yang spoke very respectfully, slowly recounting He Tiantian’s circumstance and emphasizing, ”When Comrade He Tiantian went to the little western-style building to meet with the Soviet experts, she had perused a lot of expert documents.”

”Included were the R-type missile, which our Plant 3518 is responsible for developing, and some parts concerning the Mushroom Egg!”

”Yes, that Ivan is not only an engineer but also a very famous physicist. He studied with experts in Capital City and has published papers on nuclear physics!”

Therefore, Ivan’s information is very valuable.

Perhaps, it could serve as a supplement to aid Capital City in developing the Mushroom Egg.
