The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 515: Chapter 217: The Top-grade Classical Prose (Part 9)

Two cups of milk powder a day, three meals of old hen soup, large bone broth, and rice porridge with minced meat, Wu Zhuoya racked her brains and went to great lengths to make nutritious food for He Tiantian.

The military factory had also verified that the materials sent by He Tiantian were detailed, complete, and effective, and she had made a significant contribution!

At the strong request of Chief Engineer Seo and a few other informed engineers, the implementation of additional rewards for Comrade He Tiantian began.

”Tiantian, look quick, this is chocolate, it’s said to be high in calories and particularly nutritious!”

Wu Zhuoya excitedly took out item after item from the net bag and laid them out in front of He Tiantian, ”And this walnut, it’s said to be shipped from the Northeast, really good for the brain!”

”Oh, and this, beef jerky, milk candies, they all come from the grasslands!”

There were many items, and they were all high-calorie foods that girls on diets in later generations wouldn’t dare to touch, even if starving.

However, these were quite rare nutritional products in Hua Country during the 1950s and 60s.

He Tiantian broke off a piece of chocolate, mmm, such a rich taste.

It wasn’t any substitute, but very pure chocolate, slightly bitter, yet so mellow.

The key was that this stuff was high in calories, and after eating a piece, He Tiantian felt like her brain could get moving again.

”...Mom, you, you have a bite too!”

He Tiantian, eyes squinted in satisfaction, then opened them to see Wu Zhuoya’s loving face, and deliberately put on a slight pained expression.

She broke off another piece of chocolate and brought it to Wu Zhuoya’s mouth.

”I’m not eating it, Mommy doesn’t like chocolate!”

Wu Zhuoya had seen her share of good things, of course she knew the taste of chocolate, but she knew even better the value of such a thing.

These imported items were extremely scarce.

It was probably because the blueprints Tiantian had sent solved a big problem, and the logistics department just happened to have a channel to get a little bit of chocolate.

Such rare foreign trinkets were things these older folks simply couldn’t bear to touch, even if Tiantian could reproduce blueprints, whether she had secretly memorized them or had some other method.

But one thing was for sure, including He Yaohua and Chief Engineer Seo at the military factory leadership, they all had a premonition: the brain of the child He Tiantian was very valuable.

And such a precious treasure needed to be well protected.

Wasn’t it just getting some more nutritious things for the child to nourish her brain? These things were nothing compared to that piece of information.

So, Wu Zhuoya was very clear that the rewards issued by the factory were for nurturing her little girl’s brain.

Even if it wasn’t for that reason, as a mother, she wouldn’t compete with her daughter for food.

”Oh, then I’ll eat it!”

He Tiantian seemed to believe her ”real mother’s” claim of ”not liking” and directly stuffed the piece of chocolate into her mouth.

If it were in the past, her greedy and possessive behavior, not considering her parents’ feelings at all, would make people think she was ill-mannered and unfilial.

But knowing that Tiantian’s malnutrition was due to excessive use of her brain, and seeing her pair of clear, innocent eyes, Wu Zhuoya felt the daughter might truly not understand worldly wisdom.

She was too simple and her heart was incredibly pure, without so many twists and turns.

Besides, geniuses often have their quirks and oddities.

Her Tiantian just loved to eat; that was already a normal preference, right?

Thinking of the word ”genius,” Wu Zhuoya suddenly remembered the matter at hand.

He Tiantian had been awake for a week now, and Wu Zhuoya had been diligently feeding her for seven days.

The color had returned to Tiantian’s cheeks, and her little face, her little arms had gained some flesh.

Also, the doctors had given He Tiantian a comprehensive examination: organs, bones, blood, etc., everything was fine.

It was just malnutrition.

Now that she was nutritionally replenished, He Tiantian’s condition had improved a lot.

Only then did Wu Zhuoya dare to inquire, ”...Tiantian, those materials, the blueprints in your room before you became unconscious—”

He Tiantian, after finishing a piece of chocolate, opened a small packet of beef jerky and tore at it vigorously.

Hearing her real mother’s question, she chewed energetically while casually replying, ”I wrote them!”

Wu Zhuoya had guessed the answer, but to hear it confirmed directly from He Tiantian’s mouth still excited her.

However, more questions needed answers, ”How do you know all this? Didn’t you only attend a few years of primary school?”

After saying this, Wu Zhuoya, fearing she would hurt her daughter’s self-esteem, hurriedly explained, ”These are all very professional technical skills. Even your brother, a university graduate, doesn’t really understand them!”
