My Silly, Sweet Wife

In the luxurious private room, Ning Chengyuan hugged two beauties on either side, his face full of enjoyment.

In the room next door, separated by a door, a bald man similarly embraced two beauties.

This bald man was the assassin nicknamed Rashamon.

Right now, Rashamon was immersed in the pleasures of the moment, not at all resembling an assassin.

Since he had been hired to protect Ning Chengyuan, he naturally had to provide comprehensive protection. Luckily, Ning Chengyuan was quite considerate; after calling for beauties last night, he even called two for Rashamon.

After a night of revelry, Rashamon still had a satisfied smile at the corner of his mouth.

Rashamon loved women, loved alcohol, loved killing—almost entirely disconnected from the word ’monk.’

Especially after joining Yama Hall, it seemed this organization could better satisfy his desires, allowing him to completely unleash his inner violence.

Knock, knock, knock!

Just as Ning Chengyuan and Rashamon were enjoying themselves, someone knocked on the door.

Ning Chengyuan impatiently asked, ”Who is it?”

”Sir, we’re here to deliver breakfast.” A waitress’s voice came from outside.

Ning Chengyuan patted one of the beauties beside him, instructing, ”Go, open the door.”

The beauty unwillingly crawled out of the bed, wrapped in a towel, and walked to the door, opening it from the inside.

But as soon as the door was opened, it was violently pushed open from outside.

The next second, before the beauty could react to what was happening, two people had already flashed into the room.

Almost simultaneously, the door was locked again.

The beauty was shocked and couldn’t even open her mouth before Iron Hand swiftly chopped her unconscious.

”What’s happening?” Ning Chengyuan, evidently hearing the commotion, asked.

As his voice faded, two figures appeared at the bedroom door.

Upon seeing Iron Hand and Ye Guichen, Ning Chengyuan’s pupils contracted sharply, and he cried out, ”Master Rashamon, save me!”

It seemed that Rashamon, living next door, had already sensed something was amiss when Ye Guichen and Iron Hand entered.

He quickly put on a piece of clothing, grabbing a string of beads from the bedside.

The beads had nine skulls carved into them, each skull lifelike as if it had endured great suffering during its life.

”Who dares to cause trouble here!” Rashamon rushed out, already closing in on Ye Guichen and Iron Hand.

Ye Guichen glanced at Rashamon and said to Iron Hand, ”Can you handle it?”

Iron Hand hesitated, immediately embarrassed: ”Though Rashamon and I are both silver-ranked assassins, he’s stronger than me!”

But there was no time for Iron Hand to think; Rashamon had already attacked Iron Hand as he charged out.

Iron Hand could only respond as best as he could.

He threw off his gloves, revealing two prosthetic hands.

When Rashamon saw Iron Hand’s prosthetic hands, he was first stunned, then cursed with a dark face, ”You’re White Wolf?”

”Rashamon, haha, I’m not called White Wolf anymore, I’m Iron Hand.” Iron Hand said, shaking his hands, ”I advise you to leave immediately. Ning Chengyuan dared to offend Mr. Ye; if you’re stubborn, you’re on the path to death!”

”Haha, Iron Hand?” Rashamon laughed loudly, ”I don’t care if you’re from Yama Hall; if you come here to steal my business, you die!”

With that, Rashamon fiercely clawed at Iron Hand.

Iron Hand was shocked; he dodged quickly while reaching out with his left hand to grab at Rashamon.

Rashamon, towering and burly, stood half a head taller than Iron Hand. Though he was only wearing a piece of clothing, his upper body was exposed when he moved.

On his chest was tattooed an image of Rashamon, holding a steel fork in one hand and a copper hammer in the other, fierce and terrifying as if from hell.

Seeing Iron Hand attack, Rashamon sneered, not dodging but confronting Iron Hand head-on, his right leg already striking out.

Iron Hand knew of Rashamon’s existence but not of his methods. Seeing Rashamon not dodge, he was overjoyed.

Clang!

Iron Hand clawed at Rashamon’s chest, but instead of tearing the flesh, it made a metallic clashing sound.

Iron Hand exclaimed, ”Bronze skin, iron bones?”

There’s a Shaolin cultivation technique for bronze skin and iron bones, but few achieve it.

Iron Hand hadn’t imagined Rashamon had mastered it.

Though Iron Hand could tear normal flesh with his prosthetic hands, they couldn’t make a dent in Rashamon.

While Iron Hand was shocked, Rashamon had already kicked him, sending him flying.

”Ugh!” Iron Hand uncontrollably crashed in front of Ning Chengyuan’s bed, scaring the other beauty into screaming as she burrowed into Ning Chengyuan’s arms.

Ning Chengyuan, initially startled, calmed down seeing Rashamon easily defeat Iron Hand.

”Ye Guichen, didn’t expect you would come to me before I went looking for you.” Ning Chengyuan said, putting on clothes and walking to Iron Hand, kicking him hard, ”Haha, useless!”

Iron Hand roared, ”Damn you, touch me again, I’ll eat your heart and liver!”

Iron Hand felt humiliated.

He wanted to impress Ye Guichen but got defeated by Rashamon in three moves.

But it wasn’t entirely his fault; Ye Guichen had severed one of his hands before. Though he had a prosthetic hand now, he wasn’t used to it.

In his prime, Iron Hand wouldn’t have been defeated so quickly, even if he couldn’t beat Rashamon.

Ning Chengyuan wasn’t threatened by Iron Hand.

”Still trying to act tough?” Ning Chengyuan ignored Iron Hand, kicking his face again, looking at Ye Guichen, ”You brat, you came crawling to me. Last time, you scared me into fleeing. You think you’re so mighty? Didn’t expect I’d come back, huh? Haha, I’ll give you a chance now. Kowtow like a dog, and I’ll kill you quickly!”

He pointed at his feet.

Rashamon already blocked the door, preventing Ye Guichen’s escape.

Meanwhile, the two women in Rashamon’s room were peeking out, feeling thrilled.

Ye Guichen, seeing Ning Chengyuan’s arrogance, smiled and took a step forward.

Ning Chengyuan, knowing Ye Guichen’s strength, panicked, ”Damn it, take another step, and Master Rashamon will break your legs!”

Ye Guichen ignored him, continuing forward.

Ning Chengyuan’s pupils contracted as he roared, ”Master Rashamon, what are you waiting for? Break his legs, hurry!”

Rashamon grinned maliciously, his eyes turning vicious, and his hand clawed at Ye Guichen’s shoulder like a sharp talon.
