My Silly, Sweet Wife

The three of them, Zhang Fugui, although showing great loyalty to Ye Guichen, still felt their legs going weak at the sight of the waves of thugs surging towards them.

They were not masters at all, let alone capable of fighting ten people at once.

However, if they didn’t act in this situation, Ye Guichen would not make it out unscathed either.

”Boss, live to fight another day! We’ll hold them off, you go first!” The only thought in the minds of the three was this.

Back then, Ye Guichen was fierce, teaching a lesson to their Security Department, even managing to fight ten at once.

But now the situation was entirely different. The people under Lin Gang were here to fight desperately.

If there was a real fight, they wouldn’t stand a chance one-on-one.

Ye Guichen, however, pulled the three of them back: ”Stay back.”

With that, Ye Guichen had already charged out, like a ferocious wolf pouncing on a flock of sheep.

Lin Gang’s face was still twisted with a mad fervor.

He didn’t believe Ye Guichen could keep his hard stance.

With so many people under him, no matter how well Ye Guichen fought, he would be done for.

Moreover, Lin Gang was merely looking after the place for Zhao Wuji, he wasn’t even on the same level as Zhao Wuji, a big boss.

Earlier, he intended to use Zhao Wuji’s name and the Ye Alliance to scare Ye Guichen, but he didn’t expect Ye Guichen wasn’t buying it at all.

Since that was the case, they would fight until he submitted!

Seeing Ye Guichen advancing instead of retreating, Lin Gang couldn’t help but roar: ”Beat him half to death, leave him with one breath!”

Crack, bang!

In an instant, Ye Guichen collided with the group of thugs.

Yet, before Lin Gang’s voice had even faded, his mouth had already dropped open, his whole face rigid with shock.

The thugs under him were like paper figures, flying out one by one, crashing onto the street.

Around thirty people, in less than thirty seconds, with each person not even lasting a second on average, all lay on the ground wailing in pain.

The people on the street were completely dumbfounded.

They hadn’t even seen what had happened, only that anyone who charged into the noodle house was sent flying out, without the slightest pause, more thrilling than a movie.

After a long moment, Lin Gang finally reacted.

He didn’t dare stay any longer.

This wasn’t a human; it was a monster!

He turned to run, but Ye Guichen grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.

”W-what do you want?” Lin Gang trembled all over, the pain in his hands dulled by the terror Ye Guichen brought.

Ye Guichen coldly said, ”From today on, if anything happens to this noodle house, if anyone comes to smash the place, I’ll come find you!”

”Wha?” Lin Gang’s face twisted in distress, but he didn’t dare refuse, the threats he had in mind stuck in his throat.

”Also, from today on, stop collecting protection fees on this street. If I find out you’re extorting again, I’ll beat you every time I see you!” Ye Guichen finished, throwing Lin Gang out.

Lin Gang’s group didn’t dare linger, scrambling to flee.

The lackey of Lin Gang who had been tied up was left bewildered.

He’s about to cry, watching Lin Gang run away, then looked at Ye Guichen in awe, gulping hard: ”Brother Gang, I’m still here, you didn’t redeem me!”

Ye Guichen turned and noticed him, scratching his head, seemingly having forgotten to ask Lin Gang for money in the heat of the fight.

”Forget it, throw him out.” Ye Guichen waved his hand, letting Zhang Fugui toss him out as well.

Zhang Fugui and the others were still somewhat dazed.

They had seen Ye Guichen’s skills before, but never imagined he could be this fierce.

They quickly complied and threw the man out.

”Clean this place up.” Ye Guichen instructed, stepping out of the noodle house, taking out his phone, and dialing Yu Jieyuan.

With this incident involving Lin Gang, Ye Guichen felt he couldn’t let Li Xiaoqin run the noodle house alone.

Since the Haotian Model Company was now under his name, and Yu Jieyuan was competent, he might as well have Yu Jieyuan and Li Xiaoqin open a medicinal cuisine noodle house together.

The call connected quickly.

Yu Jieyuan seemed surprised that Ye Guichen would call him, his voice excited: ”Mr. Ye, how come you have time to call me?”

”Come to the Jixiang Noodle House on Snack Street, I have something for you to do.” Ye Guichen got straight to the point.

Yu Jieyuan was puzzled but quickly agreed: ”Okay, I’ll be there right away.”

After hanging up, Ye Guichen returned to the noodle house and said to Li Xiaoqin, ”Sister-in-law, I made a mistake earlier, almost putting you in danger. I have a suggestion. Would you consider remodeling the noodle house, renting the neighboring shops too, to open a medicinal cuisine noodle house?”

Li Xiaoqin now looked at Ye Guichen like he was a deity.

Handling over thirty people like it was a game, and remaining calm and composed the entire time, it was far beyond his age.

Hearing Ye Guichen’s words, Li Xiaoqin was momentarily at a loss, then she asked, ”Manager Ye, did you say a medicinal cuisine noodle house?”

”Yes, sister-in-law, that’s what I’m thinking. Zhao Erdan injured his knee, and although his leg is saved, he probably can’t be a security guard anymore.” Ye Guichen hesitated slightly, then continued with his idea: ”But no matter what, Zhao Erdan’s leg was injured because of me, I can’t ignore that. I originally wanted to give you a recipe for ’Linglong Noodles’ as a skill to rely on, but now it seems that’s not enough, so I want to invest and partner with you and Zhao Erdan to open a medicinal cuisine noodle house. You two can manage the business for me and we’ll share the profits.”

Li Xiaoqin was utterly stunned at his words.

”Manager Ye, we don’t have the money, and this medicinal cuisine noodle is expensive. Can it really work?”

Ye Guichen smiled: ”Of course, we’re selling the brand. Once the shop is open, I’ll develop a few more recipes. Making a few thousand a day should not be a problem.”

”What?” Li Xiaoqin was completely shocked.

A few thousand per day?

Ye Guichen said it so casually, but to Li Xiaoqin, it sounded like a fairy tale!

She couldn’t even dare to dream it.

”Manager Ye, it’s not that I don’t agree, you’ve already helped us so much, but this is a big deal. Can I discuss it with Old Zhao first?”

Ye Guichen nodded: ”Of course, no problem. Someone will contact you to talk over the details later. You won’t need to put in any money, just manage it.”

While they were talking, Yu Jieyuan arrived in a hurry.

Yu Jieyuan was dressed in a suit and tie, and despite his slightly big belly, he somewhat looked the part of a boss now.

Before, he had just been barely getting by, but after being put to use by Ye Guichen, he found this kind of life incredibly fulfilling.

Seeing Ye Guichen, Yu Jieyuan’s smile almost split his face: ”Mr. Ye, I was just about to report on the company’s operations to you...”

Before Yu Jieyuan could finish, Ye Guichen raised his hand to stop him: ”I trust you to handle it. I don’t care how you do it, just don’t ruin the company.”
