My Silly, Sweet Wife

Li Xiaoqin had never expected anyone would actually order the overpriced noodles.

Instinctively, she glanced at the two men, but just one look made her uneasy.

The two men had an air of delinquency about them, clearly thugs, and their bulging pockets and shifty eyes indicated they were up to no good.

Yet, remembering that her shop was open for business, she couldn’t refuse customers.

After a moment’s hesitation, Li Xiaoqin agreed and went to the kitchen to make the noodles.

Though she had memorized the recipe given by Ye Guichen, and had repeatedly made a few bowls last night, the noodles she made couldn’t compare to Ye Guichen’s, but still achieved about seventy percent of the original flavor.

When she brought out the two bowls of noodles, the two men couldn’t help but swallow their saliva.

”These noodles smell so good!” The two men stared at the noodles eagerly, then began eating.

Only after taking a bite, they initially wanted to nitpick, but as soon as the noodles entered their mouths, their senses were completely awakened.

”Damn, is this really noodles? I’ve never had such delicious noodles!”

The two men wolfed down the noodles, finishing the steaming hot bowls in less than a minute, even licking the soup clean.

One of them looked up at Li Xiaoqin: ”Boss lady, give us two more bowls, damn, the portion is too small, not enough!”

”Well, gentlemen, the money for these noodles…” Li Xiaoqin had expected the noodles to have this effect, but she felt uneasy if they didn’t pay.

”Damn, what’s the meaning of this?” One of them slammed the table and stood up: ”Damn, you dare ask me for money?”

The other one pulled out a switchblade from his pocket and shook it at Li Xiaoqin: ”Cut the crap, today we’re here to eat for free, make another bowl or I’ll tear your shop down!”

Li Xiaoqin’s face turned pale immediately.

She quickly stepped back: ”You, you guys don’t pay for food, you won’t find justice anywhere.”

”Haha, justice?” The two men laughed.

One of them flipped the table: ”Fine, want justice? I’ll give you justice!”

He grabbed the bowl in front of him and smashed it on the ground, breaking it into pieces: ”Still want justice?”

Li Xiaoqin finally understood that they were here to cause trouble.

Outside, Zhang Fugui and his companions quickly noticed something was wrong in the noodle shop.

Without a word, they pulled out the prepared rubber batons from their waists and charged in.

”Sis, what’s going on?” Zhang Fugui glanced at the overturned table and the broken bowl, asking immediately.

Li Xiaoqin had seen Zhang Fugui during dinner last night, naturally recognizing him, and realized it must have been arranged by Ye Guichen, feeling grateful again.

”They refused to pay for their food.” Li Xiaoqin pointed at the two men and said.

Zhang Fugui sneered, fiddling with the rubber baton: ”What, you want to eat for free?”

As he spoke, Zhang Fugui and his companions had already blocked the two men’s exit.

The two men were stunned and immediately became nervous.

They only came to cause trouble, not expecting there were people guarding outside.

”Hehe, a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding!” One of them took out twenty yuan and threw it on the table: ”Brothers, we only ate two bowls of noodles, it’s twenty yuan in total, here you go.”

”You ate the Linglong noodles.” Li Xiaoqin said anxiously.

Regular noodles indeed cost ten yuan a bowl, but the Linglong noodles’ ingredients alone cost more than ten yuan, although charging eight hundred is a bit pricey, two hundred yuan a bowl is reasonable.

”Did you hear?” Zhang Fugui’s face darkened: ”Including the damaged table and utensils, if you don’t give two thousand yuan, I’ll break you!”

The two men’s mouths twitched.

The man with the switchblade’s eyes turned, knowing they couldn’t leave without paying, a trace of ruthlessness flashed on his face, and he suddenly raised the switchblade stabbing towards Zhang Fugui’s abdomen.

Zhang Fugui hadn’t expected the other to be so wild, stabbing just like that.

But being a security guard and training frequently these days, he had basic reaction speed.

Seeing the switchblade approach, Zhang Fugui couldn’t dodge in time, instinctively grabbing for it.

He seized the switchblade, enduring intense pain, his other hand wielding the rubber baton smashing onto the other’s head.

The force of this strike was enormous, knocking the man out instantly.

The other man froze, realizing there was no room for negotiation, pulled out a switchblade from his pocket, cursed: ”Damn, daring to offend Brother Gang, you won’t have good days here, anyone who moves gets stabbed!”

Brandishing the switchblade, his face contorted in a grimace.

Zhang Fugui gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, glaring at the man viciously, ”Damn, Boss was right, Lin Gang is truly vile, but since Boss trusts us, we won’t disgrace him!”

”Yes, damn, Brother Gang my ass! If your Brother Gang wants to play, I’ll play with you!”

The other two security guards, though scared, remembered Ye Guichen’s kindness, blood surging, swung their rubber batons charging forward.

The thug hadn’t expected these people to be so fearless.

Plus, his companion was already unconscious, so he panicked, trying to flee.

However, where could he escape to?

After several strikes, he was on his knees, begging for mercy.

Zhang Fugui didn’t show mercy, together with the other two guards, they tied the men up.

Li Xiaoqin, frightened, quickly used gauze to wrap Zhang Fugui’s hand: ”Brother, are you okay?”

Zhang Fugui grinned: ”Sis, I’m fine.”

After speaking, he took out his phone and called Ye Guichen: ”Boss, you were right, Lin Gang sent someone to cause trouble, we subdued them, what now?”

Ye Guichen was at the Security Department watching the surveillance of the company beauties when he casually replied: ”What else? Keep one of them, let the other go back and report, tell Lin Gang to bring money to ransom.”

”How much?” Zhang Fugui asked, immediately excited.

This feeling was thrilling.

In the past, Zhang Fugui wouldn’t dream of confronting someone like Lin Gang.

But now supported by Ye Guichen, Zhang Fugui felt Lin Gang was nothing.

”Ten thousand yuan, less and it’s not worth it.” Ye Guichen thought for a moment, then added: ”Right, don’t come back. I’ll go there later, but if Lin Gang’s people show up before I arrive, don’t rush to act, safety first.”

”Understood.” After hanging up, Zhang Fugui kicked the injured thug: ”Our boss said, go tell Lin Gang to bring money to ransom your partner! Damn, less than ten thousand yuan, don’t expect to take him!”

The thug dared not refuse.

His partner was still unconscious, nodding quickly, stumbling away.

Li Xiaoqin hadn’t expected Ye Guichen to truly play hard with Lin Gang, nervously asked: ”Brother, will there be trouble?”

Zhang Fugui shrugged: ”Sis, don’t worry, with Boss Ye, the only problem would be for Lin Gang!”

Li Xiaoqin’s eyes flashed with a strange look.

Ye Guichen seemed so young, what divine skills did he have, first Zhao Erdan, now even Zhang Fugui and the others were fearless?

That’s Lin Gang, the genuine tyrant of these few streets.

Ordinary folks like them used to tremble at the mention of Lin Gang’s name, yet now they showed no fear?
