Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Beyond that, he had absolutely no understanding of this person’s life experiences or other details. Conversely, while there was more knowledge about the family he once belonged to, that was useless. Understanding the person himself was imperative. This was because Alka had experimented with some family members and individuals on Gemini Island, and it hadn’t worked at all.

Alka already had a distinct feeling at this stage about whether a mark could be made, even if the target wasn’t necessarily on this map. The feeling that allowed him to mark this Nafasi Clan cult member didn’t stem from Alka’s understanding of him. Rather, it came from another peculiar sensation.

Similar to the Dream Realm… I understand now.

Alka suddenly recalled that Xuan had previously marked this person’s dream within the Dream Realm. Consequently, Alka could vaguely sense the man’s direction, though it required a certain proximity. Alka had arranged it in the Dream Realm so that Xuan shared with him the special sensation this mark provided.

So, if I don’t understand someone well enough, could I, in certain situations, deepen my sensing by setting some kind of tracking mark on them and then marking their position on the map?

Alka was now very inclined to believe his system might be some kind of Treasure.

Yet, he hadn’t found any similar traces within his own body, only a sort of instinctual feeling.

It’s like the feeling of being able to walk, to climb, to punch.

After pondering for a moment, Alka ceased to dwell on it.

My strength is currently only at the Fourth Stage. Once I’m strong enough, I’ll naturally have more premonitions.

Thinking about these things now only adds to my troubles.

Looking at the red X on the map, Alka wore a smile.

Next time I come, it won’t have to be like it has been.

This fellow... never mind anything else, his hiding technique is just like a rat’s.

I seriously suspect his Treasure has some ability that lets him conceal himself.

”Looks like you figured it out?” Lucilia said from the side.

”Of course. Thanks for the reminder.”

”Hmph.”

The Swallow continued to race across the sea.

「...」

After less than a week of rapid navigation, they had nearly reached the verdant boundary of the Sea of Moisture. The azure sea appeared ahead of them; it was finally no longer those eerie green waters.

”Finally! This blue ocean... it looks so much more comforting,” Jason said with a smile.

The Ocean trio nearby nodded in firm agreement with Jason’s words. Swimming in the waters of the Sea of Moisture, its eerie green hue always gave them an unsettling sensation. It was like how soil is normally brown; if it suddenly turned some other vibrant color one day, it would be disconcerting.

Alka, who was piloting the vessel, showed a hint of fatigue on his face. It wasn’t just him; everyone on the ship felt the same. It wasn’t physical fatigue but mental, stemming from the prolonged, rapid journey. With so many people confined to such a limited space—especially since the Swallow was constantly moving at full throttle—they had to take turns piloting day and night, with virtually no rest. Their range of activity was severely restricted, and everyone was somewhat mentally exhausted.

The sound of melodious music drifted towards them, and smiles appeared on everyone’s faces. In the distance, water splashed on the blue sea. A sailing ship burst forth from the waves. That peculiar bird-headed figurehead was so familiar and dear to them all. After so long, they were finally returning to their own ship, returning to their home on the Endless Sea.

The Sound of Dawn was heading towards them, navigating to the boundary of the verdant vines. The music swelled, becoming energetic and joyful.

”Accelerate! Charge through!” Alka said with a smile.

Hearing this, Simon smiled broadly. The forefinger of his Treasure emitted a dazzling light as he tapped the thruster at the rear. A powerful backward thrust pressed them against the ship. The few people standing on the thruster were almost thrown into the water. The displaced water formed curtains on both sides. The entire ship cut through the water like a Sharp Sword.

With robust power, they soon reached the edge. The thruster gradually slowed and then dispersed. The Swallow’s speed slowly came to a halt.

The Sound of Dawn was positioned bow-first towards them, its entrance already open. Alka gently navigated the Swallow inside.

The Ocean trio had already jumped off the ship, leaping across the sea to the long-missed deck. The Puppet Girls also disembarked, eagerly jumping across before the Swallow had even fully entered. Root-like ropes hung down from the Sound of Dawn, and everyone gripped one to be pulled aboard.

Alka smiled faintly as he carefully maneuvered the Swallow inside. After mooring the Swallow securely, he went up the stairs back to the deck.

Melodious songs enveloped them, expressing the Sound of Dawn’s delight. Amidst this melodious singing, there were beautiful vocals as well. Julia stood at the bow, holding a harp, singing as she played. It was as if their earlier fatigue had vanished. The Puppet Girls gathered in a circle, dancing haphazardly to the music.

Alka lay down flat on the deck and exclaimed loudly, ”Ah! This is still the best place to be!”

Juanlu declared with a hearty laugh, ”Tonight, we must celebrate properly! I’ll give it my all!” He then immediately rushed into his long-missed kitchen. Finally, I can showcase my culinary skills in this perfectly equipped place!

The ship rested on the sea. Alka wasn’t in a hurry to prompt the Sound of Dawn to sail. He currently had two valuable Treasure Chests with him. He placed the chest containing the exceptionally precious orange Divine Essence into the ship’s Treasure Vault.

Carrying the other chest, he returned to the deck. He sat down beside the flowerbed, looking at the flowers they had planted there. These were the ones they had planted earlier. They had originally planned to plant a large tree here, but a suitable species had not yet been found.

With this in mind, Alka opened the chest. Inside lay a seed, faintly glowing.
