Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 758: Chapter 335 Giant Wood Habitat_3

”Although chaotic, this area is near the edge of the entire Giant Wood Habitat. So, there aren’t too many powerful individuals here.”

The captain shared all the information he knew with everyone.

”Thank you, your intelligence is very important to us.”

”Not at all. I’m glad I could help.”

Alka nodded and then bid farewell to the surrounding soldiers. He boarded the Swift Swallow, which had been moved to the front by the soldiers, and continued onward.

Alka sat on the deck, looking at some markings on the map, as well as the approximate area drawn by the soldier he had spoken with earlier.

”At our current speed, it’ll take us most of the day to cross the boundary, and then we’ll reach the Emerald Belt.”

Saying this, Heilika also pointed at the map, specifically at the verdant boundary line.

It was named this way because it was a long forest composed of verdant trees.

The environment inside was complex, and many dangerous creatures resided there, making it easy to encounter danger when passing through.

However, fortunately, although the Emerald Belt was long, it was not wide.

Generally, it took about two to three hours to pass through.

Unless one was very unlucky, they typically wouldn’t encounter much danger.

”Once we pass through here, we’ll reach the Incomplete Reef. The people there are said to be cunning but not particularly dangerous.” Simply put, it was an area where those considered ’impaired’—cunning, perhaps, but not truly dangerous—tended to gather.

One couldn’t expect much combat capability from this area.

However, according to their plans for navigating this region, they would almost certainly avoid getting close enough to encounter any more formidable individuals.

Furthermore, this large area, which also encompassed the Incomplete Reef, was quite vast.

Compared to the routes they had traveled before, it would take six to seven days just to pass directly through it.

This was equivalent to the distance from Fragrant Scent to the boundary’s corner.

According to the markings made by the soldier captain, three rather infamous Pirate Gangs to watch out for were located on the seaward boundary of this area.

After all, being Pirate Gangs, they operated off the coast and lived by plundering.

They especially needed to be wary of a few other despicable forces in the area, as well as the Cult Group.

Their leaders were all Fourth Stage, though most subordinates were seldom even Third Stage.

So, while they posed a threat, it wasn’t a major one. As long as sufficient vigilance was maintained, they should be fine.

Alka felt the guidance from the Flower Fairy.

He drew a straight line on the map following this direction.

This straight line crossed the area directly, heading towards an unknown region further back, and then reached the seaside.

If they were lucky, they might reach their destination within this area. If not, they would have to venture into another, largely uncharted region.

In the words of the soldier captain, this place could only be considered a remote corner.

The location further in didn’t seem ideal, and the environment was poor, so not many people were willing to come here to bolster their strength.

The fact that these sinister forces had been driven here indicated that the region further beyond was undoubtedly a tough nut to crack.

This is quite troublesome.

Night fell, and the daylight sky was veiled as if by a curtain.

Stars and luminous celestial bodies hung high above, lending a faint glow to the dark night over the Endless Sea.

From the ship Alka and the others were on, they could already discern rows of dark silhouettes in the distance.

These rows of silhouettes stretched beyond their line of sight, indicating that the Emerald Belt lay ahead.

They were about to cross the boundary line.

”Stay alert. We’ll reach the Emerald Belt first, then find a place to rest,” Alka said, gazing into the distance.

Although others might consider this area dangerous, for them, it was also a relatively good place to rest.

After all, they were no ordinary individuals, and with the Puppet Girl on watch, there was no need for concern.

Soon, the Swift Swallow, piloted by the group, arrived at the outskirts of the Emerald Belt.

Alka observed the trees, their roots delving deep into the water, their trunks tightly entwined with vines.

He looked up. ”Why are these trees all so incredibly tall?”

These trees were generally over ten meters high, some even exceeding twenty meters, all densely packed and seemingly stacked together.

The trees themselves looked as if they were formed from interwoven vines, with connections and entanglements between them creating an exceptionally perilous appearance.

”Never mind, let’s head in. Stay concealed,” Akka said.

With Akka’s words, Team Nine had already flown into the forest with their squad.

In an area with such severely limited visibility, Simon couldn’t perform his scouting role effectively.

They had to rely on Team Nine from the Puppet Knight Order, along with Team One, which was responsible for Sentinel reconnaissance.

The entire process proceeded in an orderly fashion.
