Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Hearing this, Alka nodded. ”After we return this time, shall we continue searching for that Nafasi Clan cult member, or do we have other targets?”

Alka thought for a moment. ”After handing things over to the Flower Fairy, we’ll search for the traces of that cult member while enhancing our power,” he said. ”We’ll talk after reaching the Fourth Stage. Our strength is still a bit too weak.”

Hearing Alka’s words, everyone nodded. This was indeed the truth. In this Endless Sea, with Third Stage strength, one could only claim a certain level of self-preservation. Reaching the Fourth or Fifth Stage meant one had established a foothold in the Endless Sea, no longer a small fry that others could squash at will. Only at the Sixth Stage did one enter the ranks of the strong, possessing the power to become a dominant force in a region.

They continued their return journey at full speed. Due to the relatively favorable conditions in this Spirit Land region, they encountered almost no obstruction. After just a few days, they could already see the tall flower forest of the Fragrant Land from afar.

Chadite, who was piloting the ship, rubbed his shoulders. ”We’re finally arriving. This time we can have a good rest.” The rapid return journey, combined with the need for manual operation of the Swallow, was truly bothersome.

Once they arrived, the entire area became much livelier. They parked the ship directly in the warehouse by the shore, and everyone walked onto the streets.

They had been gone for about a month in total. In this month, any traces of the previous chaos in the Fragrant Land had vanished. Though some rooms in the Flower Forest and their positions had slightly changed, everything seemed the same as before. The place was bustling as usual.

The group arrived beside the inn. Seeing them come in, a somewhat chubby middle-aged man with a friendly face and a trademark smile trotted over. ”Are you all looking for accommodation?”

Alka looked at the chubby middle-aged man. He seems unfamiliar, Alka thought. Could he be a relative of the previous lady owner? Or someone else entirely? He couldn’t help but ask, ”What about the previous lady owner?”

”Ah, you’re talking about Miss Melar.”

Alka nodded. Yes, Rasemi’s sister is named that, he thought.

The new owner’s expression grew somewhat wistful. ”Miss Melar transferred this place to me. I heard her brother died in the chaos a month ago. It seems she’s training to join the Flower Knights.”

Hearing this, Alka nodded but said nothing more. He directly asked, ”Those interconnected rooms in the Flower Forest at the very back—is anyone staying there? If not, we’ll take them.”

Hearing this, the owner didn’t immediately answer. He curiously looked at Alka and the others, then his gaze fell upon the Puppet Girls frolicking and playing outside. He slapped his forehead in sudden realization. ”It’s you! It’s really you!” he exclaimed.

He walked up with gratitude, grabbed Alka’s arms with both hands, and shook them vigorously. ”Thank you, thank you all! You are my benefactors! Come, come, I’ll take you there.”

Saying this, he excitedly led Akka and the others toward the Flower Forest at the far end. ”It’s all thanks to you, thanks to these young girls! My daughter was saved by them. If it weren’t for you, my God, I can’t even imagine.”

A look of remembered fear appeared on the owner’s face. As they walked, he continued to express his gratitude to Akka and the others, sharing his story. Apparently, during the chaos, he had been away on business and could only return the next day. His daughter and wife lived in the Land of Fragrance, and during the last upheaval, his daughter had been rescued by the Puppet Girls. It was because of this chaos that he had decided to settle down in the Land of Fragrance.

”You can treat this place as a temporary home. Stay as long as you want, free of charge. It’s my honor to have you benefactors stay here,” the owner said, his expression still somewhat excited. His gratitude was genuine.

Without waiting for Alka and the others to respond, he waved his hand, and an employee ran over. ”Kqi, your job now is to be on standby around here. If these gentlemen need anything, it’s up to you. If anything is unavailable, come find me.”

The employee glanced at Alka and the others and nodded.

Finally, the owner smiled at Alka and the group, waved, and said, ”I’ll take my leave now; no one’s watching the entrance yet. I hope you have a pleasant stay here.”

Watching the owner’s retreating back, Alka opened his mouth as if to say something, but then closed it.

Chadite chuckled beside him. ”This owner is really enthusiastic.”
