Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”The enemy’s target is to slaughter every living being. They are massacring the residents here,” Simon’s voice reported. He noticed that none of the enemies shared a common goal; they were all heading toward populated areas. Each enemy had a very clear objective: to kill every living thing. This was completely different from what they had anticipated. There was no ceremony to disrupt, no hidden purpose. It was simply slaughter, designed to create chaos.

”ROAR!” A dragon’s cry echoed from the sky.

Ulu Liwus, who had been hidden nearby, flew in, tracing a straight line through the air. Iridescent Energy spouted from it, spraying downward. The straight, iridescent beam cut through a group of enemies, instantly transforming them into crystal.

Break the crystal. Kill them. Such words appeared in the fearful minds of the ordinary residents being chased below. The Crystal Dragon conveyed the message and departed immediately, heading in another direction.

Faced with monsters sealed within crystal, these ordinary residents were consumed by fear. They didn’t dare attack the crystal-encased monsters, their only thought to escape.

”YAH!” A little boy broke free from his parents’ embrace, picked up a stone from the road, and forcefully threw it at the crystal. The stone arced through the air, striking the crystal but causing no damage.

”Abella, what are you doing?” his mother cried, running over in panic and trying to grab him.

”Didn’t they say to break the crystal?” Abella asked.

”But…”

Before his mother could finish, a strong man picked up a wooden stick and struck the crystal hard. Cracks instantly appeared on its surface. More people took action.

”In East District 4, the defenses are weak, and enemies are chasing residents. West District 8 has a large number of enemies; the soldiers there can’t hold them. In East District 13, there are two injured people who are unable to move. They need rescue; otherwise, it will be very difficult for them to survive...”

Various pieces of intelligence began to appear. Alka looked at the text displayed on the Mirror Surface he held.

At that moment, a pair of pitch-black arms stretched out from Alka’s back. A vague, black, cloud-like aura surrounded him, and dark markings on his face made him look somewhat sinister.

To deal with such a large number of these monsters, Alka had to engage in efficient slaughter. Mirmi’s form wasn’t advantageous for rapid killing.

Observing the frenzied monsters around him, Alka flicked his hand. A black cloud lashed out like a long whip, ensnaring a monster and forcefully dragging it toward him. The immense force yanked the three-meter-tall, black-skinned monster, causing it to stumble. Before it could regain its balance, Alka’s left fist smashed forward. His punch landed heavily on the monster’s head, causing it to cave in like a deflated balloon. Strange liquid and fragments sprayed out.

Two Mirror Surface cards appeared in his right hand, and he casually slapped them onto the monster. The two black arms extending from his back grabbed the corpse and hurled it backward. The massive force sent two other monsters, which had been preparing to attack, flying.

”BANG!”

The cards on the monster exploded, killing it and the two monsters behind it as well.

A blue Ice Bullet shot out, instantly freezing a monster solid. Then, a separate crystal projectile smashed into it. Jason approached from the side and shattered this crystal with a single punch, causing the monster’s frozen body to break into pieces.

”There’s a problem,” Jason said. ”All the nearby emotions are of fear, and these fearful emotions are converging. It’s not just here; the fear from other places is converging too.”

Hearing Jason’s words, Alka furrowed his brow. ”Where are these fearful emotions converging?”

Jason shook his head and pulled out his communication Mirror. Text appeared on its surface.

”Emotions detected. Target: South District 3, light gray flower house.”

”Inform Jilenna,” Alka ordered.

High above, a Sentry Patrol Plane began to descend rapidly, its engines emitting a buzzing sound.

”RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT...”

Amidst the spray of bullets, a monster was riddled with shots before it could even identify the source of the attack. Its body, covered in dense, bloody holes, collapsed to the ground with a wail.

”Help me!” a woman’s terrified shriek came from nearby. A Second Stage undead monster was slowly reaching for her. The woman had a massive wound on her leg.

Invisible bullets struck the undead monster, eliminating it instantly.

However, atop the petals of the Celestial Flower, an enemy lay in wait. It leaped down, immediately grabbing the invisible Sentry Patrol Plane in mid-air.

”HAHAHA! Caught you!” The monster shrieked with laughter, frantically using its teeth and claws to tear at the Sentry Patrol Plane. As it clawed at the Spell on the plane’s surface, the Sentry Patrol Plane’s Invisibility effect vanished, revealing its metallic form.

Once exposed, the Sentry Patrol Plane’s structure quickly began to transform. It ejected four claw-like appendages that hooked onto the monster, binding them together. Just as the monster was processing this, powerful Energy erupted from the Sentry Patrol Plane, followed by the explosion of a blue ball of light.

The machine and the monster vanished from the spot together.

”West District 1: a girl is injured and has lost mobility.”

With this message relayed, Simon, positioned beneath the Celestial Flower, looked up at Shi and said, ”Reconnaissance is up to you.”
