Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

If one is committed to changing the environment, then it’s highly probable the Treasure is significantly related to Spring.

Upon seeing the symbols of the seasons today, Alka’s first thought had actually been to find the Flower Fairy to help him obtain the Treasure symbolizing Spring.

After all, the Flower Fairy possesses a Treasure related to Spring; the likelihood is extremely high.

Unexpectedly, he had obtained other information here.

Now, only Autumn is left.

But regarding Autumn, Alka had long had an idea. It could even be said it was the Treasure for which he had the earliest clear objective.

If I think about anyone or anything I know that’s highly related to Autumn, it’s undoubtedly the Holy Mother Church. Their doctrines include harvest, and the symbol of Autumn is definitely highly related to harvest.

Initially, he had been thinking of seeking help from the Holy Mother Church.

Balazs will definitely look for me when he returns; after all, an enemy of mine is still there. And now, this boundary of life and death represented by the Merfolk’s Treasure... I’ll have to make a trip.

Matters kept piling up.

Alka couldn’t help but think. I’m feeling inexplicably busy all of a sudden. However, the Life and Death Boundary’s danger level is well-documented. It would be best to leave this objective for last. It’s crucial to get the orange Treasure first, otherwise I won’t feel secure. Even if it’s just the boundary, it’s dangerous enough. The question now is, should I complete the Flower Fairy’s commission first amidst all this? We have some information about that cult member from the Nafasi Clan, but it’s not enough for us to find them. The Flower Fairy’s commission is reportedly not very dangerous. It’s just that the place is a bit far, requiring some travel time.

Reflecting on it, Alka reached a conclusion.

He put these maps back in order and stored them in his Pocket Ring. He looked at his Pocket Ring, which was already more than half-full with daily necessities.

”After I get the Nafasi Clan’s treasure hoard, I’ll have to get myself a bigger ring,” Alka said, lying on the bed and drifting off to dreamland.

The next day.

The curtain of the sky had only just been pulled open, yet Alka and his companions were entering from outside.

Upon waking, they had headed to the Church under the cover of night. There, they inquired about some intelligence on the Giant Wood Habitat and relatively safe routes forward.

Alka decided that while waiting for his strength to increase, he would first complete the Flower Fairy’s commission.

This commission seems to be something manageable at my current stage, not too difficult. After all, if it were truly dangerous, the Flower Fairy wouldn’t have personally come to commission me. Very few people can meet her requirements. If there were a real life-threatening danger, the Flower Fairy would definitely have told me, unless she wanted to harm me. But clearly, that’s not her intention.

After gathering some intelligence about the Giant Wood Habitat and maps for the route there, they returned.

They arrived back just in time for lunch and were eating in the main hall.

Although having lunch when the day had just broken was a bit strange, this was the Endless Sea. Here, the length of the night and the day were identical, so there wasn’t much fuss about such customs.

As they were eating, Lucilia suddenly said, ”Someone’s here.”

Although it wasn’t unusual for someone to visit the hotel where they were staying, their suite in the Flower Forest was in the innermost section, with no other flower-themed rooms nearby. For Lucilia to say something meant this person was definitely heading straight for them.

”Who is it?”

”A young woman in Armor, with floral patterns on it.” This information was relayed by the Puppet Girl standing guard outside.

Hearing this, Jason said, ”That could very well be someone from the military camp, likely a Flower Knight.” As he spoke, a knock sounded at the door shortly afterward.

”I’ll get it.”

Jason quickly finished his food, went to the door, and opened it.

Outside stood a Flower Knight, one Jason was quite familiar with, as he had spoken with her extensively while gathering information previously.

”Liya, what brings you here to find us? Is something wrong?”

Looking at Jason, the Flower Knight named Liya nodded. ”Captain Jilenna wants to see you about something.”

”Now?”

”Yes, but there’s no rush.”

Jason nodded. They had finished eating anyway. He glanced back at the dining table inside.

Alka looked at Juanlu and Simon, who were still at the table. The two shrugged helplessly, quickly finished the food in their hands, and followed Jason out.

”I wonder what it could be?” Lucilia remarked curiously.

Hearing this, Chadite chuckled. ”I guess they’re asking for our help.”

Hearing this, Alka also chuckled.

Led by the Flower Knight Liya, Jason and the other two quickly arrived at the military camp. In the largest conservatory, they found Jilenna, who had been waiting for them for some time.

”You’re here,” Jilenna said with a smile as she saw them enter.

”Calling us over in such a hurry, is there something going on?” Jason asked, somewhat puzzled, as he sat down in a nearby seat.

Jilenna nodded, looking at Jason. ”Are you preparing to set out for the Giant Wood Habitat?”

Jason nodded. Alka and the others had indeed discussed this while they were eating earlier. They were indeed preparing to head to that place.

”The Blooming Festival is in two days. Aren’t you going to wait until after the festival to leave?”

Jason shook his head. Though we’re curious, it’s not enough to make us wait here for several days just for this festival. Besides, this festival doesn’t just last one or two days. And we still need to prepare supplies and such, so it’s not like we’d be leaving immediately anyway. But he didn’t voice these thoughts.

”Alright. The main reason I called you is that there’s a new commission, and we need your help.”

”What kind of commission?”

”During the Blooming Festival, help us maintain order here. You know, we’re short on manpower right now.”

Hearing this, Jason nodded in understanding.

”No problem, we’ll take it.”

”Hm?” Jilenna seemed puzzled. ”Aren’t you going to go back and ask your leader?”

”No need. I’m sure he’ll agree. After all, we’re friends, aren’t we?”

”Yes, we’re friends.”

Jason certainly couldn’t say that Alka had already told him when he was leaving: if they were asked to help with defense, Jason was to accept.
