Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The script was extremely compact, each character engraved by the power born from their devotion.

”We have to carve it with our own Magic Power since we don’t believe in the Flower Fairy,” Jason said.

Everyone had already started. The words, imprinted with Magic Power, clung to the flower seeds, serving as fertilizer without damaging them.

After a while, the melodious music suddenly swelled. Stirring drumbeats began to pound fervently. A wave of floral fragrance wafted in. All other scents were dispelled, leaving only this one aroma.

This scent was so familiar to Alka. He would never forget it. It was the exact fragrance of the Flower Fairy.

With the scent’s arrival, everyone looked up towards the distant, gigantic Celestial Flower. All eyes focused on it. The bud of the tightly closed Celestial Flower emitted a gentle light. The petals began to slowly unfold.

The Celestial Flower had bloomed.

The ritual had begun.

Everyone placed the flower seeds in their palms and gently lifted them upward. The others followed suit. The flower seeds, as if drawn by some unseen force, flew into the sky towards the heart of the Celestial Flower.

”Praise the Flower Fairy! Praise our God!” the ritual’s officiant shouted, his voice filled with fervent emotion.

The surrounding music and drumbeats reached a crescendo. All the believers began to sing with gusto.

However, Alka and his companions had already dispersed throughout the crowd, their expressions shifting from relaxed to serious, for the ritual had commenced. The most perilous moment of the Blooming Festival had arrived.

Taking out the Hourglass, they set the dial on top to 2, noting the time and starting the reversal. Fine sand began to trickle down, the granules slowly piling up below. When all the sand had flowed through, two hours would have passed. No matter how formidable the enemy, if they could hold out for two hours, victory would be theirs.

In Alka’s hand appeared a Mirror enveloping a mechanical construct. The fusion was perfect, the design beautifully elegant. Alka and Simon had provided the technology, while Chadite designed its form and structure.

Words appeared on the Mirror. ”Situation on the perimeter. The enemy may have started moving. Be cautious.”

Upon seeing this, Alka pressed the front of the communication Mirror against himself and fastened it to his waist.

”ROAR!”

A powerful roar suddenly echoed from nearby. Following this roar, a cacophony of blood-curdling shrieks began to rise and fall.

”AAAH! Monsters!”

The entire scene became extraordinarily chaotic.

Alka and his companions sprang into action. Within the crowd, people were incessantly transforming into the kind of monsters they had seen before, amidst furious growls and roars. However, not every monster was as formidable as the ones they had previously encountered. Some had only grown slightly larger, appearing disproportionately thin and awkward. Moreover, these monsters varied greatly in appearance.

The monsters scattered throughout the crowd, indiscriminately attacking the people around them. The entire scene descended into extraordinary chaos.

”Flower Children, fear not; the Flower Fairy is here! Leave under the soldiers’ guidance; they will protect you.” The voice carried everywhere.

With this voice, the somewhat chaotic situation finally calmed a little. The soldiers who had been maintaining order throughout the area quickly mobilized. Around the altar, designated areas for defense and the protection of residents had long been established.

With a leap, Alka launched himself into the air. Wings appeared on his back—a pair of pinions formed from cloud and mist. Alka’s eyes transformed into hawk-like vertical pupils, and his hair took on the appearance of feathery cloud-mist. This was a creature he had simulated from the Dream Realm. It was one of his mist-like subjects, a being he had studied so thoroughly that he understood it completely. He had chosen to simulate it because this mist-like creature possessed wings akin to a humanoid’s. These wings were not connected to its arms but grew separately from its back, making it perfectly suited for him.

As soon as he took to the air, Alka surveyed the entire scene below. Cards made of Mirror began to scatter wildly; he no longer needed to wield them by hand. These cards, formed from Mirror, flew towards the rampaging monsters as if they were tracking missiles.

They exploded upon impact. Clouds of mist and sharp fragments swirled around the monsters, tearing them apart. The stench of foul blood and horrific screams filled the air.

”AAH!” a young girl screamed in terror upon seeing claws lunge towards her.

Before the attack could reach her, a rotating Mirror fragment flew past, severing the arm, which dropped to the ground. Her father immediately snatched up his daughter and quickly retreated, murmuring repeatedly, ”Thank you, thank you!”

A dazzling beam of light began to dart about wildly, refracting as it moved through the crowd. Numerous Mirrors of various sizes began appearing in the sky above the entire area.

”Ah, help me!” a middle-aged woman shrieked, sprawled on the ground. A monster with bared fangs was already lunging at her.

A flash of light.

The middle-aged woman felt her vision blur. In her daze, she thought she saw the silhouette of a young girl. The monster before her had its upper body completely crushed into a pulp, the sickening sound of flesh and bone being squeezed and shattered echoing out.

With a sickening thud, its corpse collapsed to the ground.
