Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 530: Chapter 260: The Sky-Shrouding Fog Serpent

The Dream Realm became larger, and Alka could understand; after all, the size of the Dream Realm is positively correlated with strength.

After the promotion, his improved physique, stronger spirit, and increased Magic Power naturally made the display of his Dream Bubbles in the Dream World bigger as well.

But the question is, is it too big?

Thinking about the reason for his soul, Alka no longer worried. After all, my Dream Bubbles have always been larger than those of the same level; I should have gotten used to it by now.

Standing in the Dream Realm, he waved his hand, and a large amount of pink mist gushed out like a stream.

Hmm... the amount of pink mist gushing out all at once is larger. That’s normal; after all, I can mobilize more of the power and Magic Power from the Dream Catcher.

With another wave of his hand, the gathered pink mist immediately dispersed. As it spread, it gradually faded until its pink color could no longer be seen.

It merged into the entire space like dust in the air, becoming more concealed.

My control over the pink mist has also become more meticulous. If I were to deploy it in the Mirror Maze during battle... Thinking of this, a smile appeared on Alka’s face.

The previous method of pouring dream mist into the Mirror Maze was too conspicuous; even if enemies didn’t know what it was, they would still guard against it. Now it’s more concealed. Plus, with its attribute of forcibly dragging people into dreams, a moment of distraction in battle could be fatal.

Retracting the mist from the Dream Realm, Alka propelled himself out of his Dream Bubble.

It’s been several days since I came to this island, and I haven’t properly explored the dreams of the people here.

However, just as he stuck his head out, Alka immediately retracted it, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

”What the hell is that? It’s like seeing a ghost!”

Alka kept taking deep breaths and couldn’t help but curse. Luckily, he had retracted quickly.

He couldn’t help but rub his eyes, confirming they weren’t playing tricks on him.

Turning to look out again, this time he didn’t rashly stick his body out but slightly wiped at the membrane of his Dream Bubble.

A transparent area, the size of a small hole, appeared, allowing Alka to see the outside situation while staying inside his Dream Bubble.

Outside was filled with Dream Bubbles. These Dream Bubbles spread throughout the entire space, stretching all the way to the unseen horizon. This was normal.

After all, there were countless people on this island. Even by the most conservative estimate, the population exceeded 100,000.

For such a large island, this number seemed a bit small, but it couldn’t be helped; this was the Endless Sea.

Such a large populated island would naturally produce a sufficient number of Dream Bubbles.

Because it wasn’t just humans; their domesticated animals also had Dream Bubbles, all stacked together as if one had entered an ocean of bubbles.

Alka had anticipated this, however.

What shocked him was what lay above these Dream Bubbles, in the sky-like area.

That area itself also belonged to the Dream Realm, where usually some phantoms resembling flying birds or cloud creatures flew.

Rarely would Dream Bubbles appear in that area.

If the entire three-dimensional Dream World were divided into three sections, the middle section was where various Dream Bubbles typically appeared.

Depending on their living area in reality, the Dream Bubbles would appear at different heights. The Dream Bubbles of aquatic creatures, for instance, were mostly much lower than those of humans.

Dream Bubbles rarely appeared in the upper and lower regions. These regions usually contained strange color blocks or the colorful lines of misty dreams.

But now, it was different.

There, a colossal, sky-obscuring creature resembling a python was coiled.

Its body structure belonged neither to light-and-shadow creatures nor to dark-cloud creatures.

Alka observed carefully. Clearly, this is a mist-type creature, one of the three types of Dream Realm beings I speculated about. The rarest and most peaceful type, one that wouldn’t even destroy Dream Bubbles.

And now, this mist-type creature, just as Alka had previously speculated, simply coiled high above, its cloud-like body stirring occasionally.

It wasn’t treating the surrounding Dream Bubbles as food to be devoured.

Below it, among the vast number of Dream Bubbles, no sufficiently powerful light-and-shadow or dark-shadow creatures were seen; there were only some very ordinary beings.

These ordinary beings, even if they damaged the Dream Bubbles, wouldn’t be enough to wake the bubble’s owner from their dream. The damage they caused was presumably negligible.

This phenomenon is clearly abnormal.

Alka couldn’t be sure there were truly none, as he was only on the periphery of this cluster of Dream Bubbles. He couldn’t see the scene deeper inside; a stack of just ten or so Dream Bubbles was enough to almost completely block his view of the deeper regions.

And that giant, cloud-like creature made Alka hesitant to venture out rashly.

I know myself. I am a predator in the Dream Realm. From the black-shadow giants and the Dream Death God, I know they can sense my uniqueness and are terrified of me. I don’t think this huge, snake-like creature would fear me; it might even attack. To be safe, I’d better not risk it.

”On this island, it’s better to keep a low profile. No dream activities at night,” Alka muttered to himself.
