Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

For Fang Zheng, this step was necessary.

It’s also quite normal; after all, the Little Misakas all have genetic defects, and without adjustments, they wouldn’t survive more than a few months. Fortunately, they at least meet the minimum requirements for Fang Zheng’s divine position — even if it’s just LV1 and LV2 level abilities, it counts as having a special ability, right?

As long as they have a special ability, they can sign a contract to become a Magical Girl.

Of course, what changes will occur in their strength after becoming a Magical Girl is still unknown, but at least their bodies will normalize due to the protection of divine power.

It’s just that Fang Zheng will have to bleed a lot for this.

Watching the Little Misakas uniformly pick up the parchment, uniformly pick up the pen, and uniformly write their names on the parchment...

Then Fang Zheng saw his divine power rapidly decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

It’s like the feeling of a working-class person who finally saved enough money to buy a car, then checks their bank account balance.

”Sigh.......”

Looking at the countless light orbs before him, Fang Zheng sighed. Hearing the sigh, Misaka Mikoto curiously turned her head.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, what’s wrong? Is there a problem?”

”No, I just feel that money is really hard to stretch.”

Watching his divine power value plummet, Fang Zheng was heartbroken. If it were just money, it wouldn’t matter, but is it just a money problem now? You can’t find firewood everywhere, and even if you burn Arestar, who knows if it would replenish the amount consumed by the Little Misakas.

Burning Aiwass doesn’t seem enough either, who else can he burn?

This is indeed a problem.

Fortunately, after signing this batch of Little Misakas as Magical Girls, Fang Zheng’s divine power barely reached a balance... at least it’s not a deficit anymore.

But what good is a balanced income and expenditure? Earning 110 and spending 100, how long will it take to save up by just relying on 10 bucks at a time?

Without a windfall, one can’t get rich... still need to find some firewood to burn.

After this, things were much simpler. These Little Misakas could temporarily spend some time on these warships, during which they would learn various knowledge using learning devices — Fang Zheng isn’t a devil, since the Little Misakas’ network has a mutual learning function, he could completely distribute one skill book per person, and as long as one Little Misaka injected the knowledge, it would be like all the Little Misakas knew it.

Speaking of which, with over ten thousand Little Misakas, Fang Zheng just managed to distribute all the skill books he had on hand, and the remaining few Little Misakas were instructed to learn VF fighter operations...

This shows how difficult it is to operate these damn warships. If Fang Zheng had to learn it himself, he might have to study them until the end of time with so many skills.

As for this side...

”Do you want to check out that world?”

Looking at Emilia and Felt in front, Fang Zheng curiously asked, and all the girls nodded.

”Yes, what Miss Misaka said earlier made us very curious about that world... and it’s also Meiyin and Mel’s world, right...”

”Hmm... if you want to go, there’s definitely no problem... so, who’s going?”

”Me!”

”I want to go too!”

The girls all excitedly raised their hands to sign up. Besides Emilia and Felt, the Priestess of the Goddess and Megumin were also quite interested; Ais silently raised her hand too — it seems like everyone is quite interested in that world.

Only Katori appeared calm; after all, these Golden Fairies have spent quite some time in the Heavenly Dao Palace, so they wouldn’t be so excited about a new world. But for Emilia and the others, this was quite thrilling.

”No problem. Hey, Misaka, come over here.”

”Ah, what’s up, Mr. Fang Zheng?”

Originally chatting with 9982, Misaka Mikoto hastened to run over upon hearing Fang Zheng’s call, and Fang Zheng gestured to her.

”There’s a task for you. These girls are very interested in Academy City, so take them around Academy City.”

”Huh?! Take them to Academy City?”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Misaka Mikoto was quite surprised, but soon she frowned.

”But they don’t have the permission and identification to go in or out...”

”I’ve already taken care of it. You just need to take them for a tour around Academy City.”

While saying this, Fang Zheng casually handed a card to Misaka Mikoto.

”Take this; spend the money inside as you see fit. If they want to shop or eat, just charge it to this; the research institute will reimburse it.”

”Mr. Fang Zheng, wouldn’t it be better if you took them yourself?”

Misaka Mikoto was somewhat concerned, but Fang Zheng shrugged.

”I still have to handle matters concerning the Little Misakas here. I’ll go once everything’s done, so I’ll leave it to you, is that okay?”

”Leave it to me!”

Hearing this, Misaka Mikoto patted her chest.

”Don’t worry, Mr. Fang Zheng, I’ll definitely make sure they enjoy Academy City thoroughly!”

”That’s good... By the way, you two!”

Fang Zheng spoke here, directing his gaze toward the Priestess of the Goddess and Ais.

”Keep a close watch on Megumin. That world is mostly peaceful, and there’s no need for fighting. If Megumin wants to use Burst Magic, you just knock her out... Ais, it’s up to you!”

”Yes, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, the Priestess of the Goddess showed a hint of a wry smile, while Ais nodded solemnly.

After all, this is indeed a very troublesome issue.

Shortly afterward, Misaka Mikoto led the girls through the Teleportation Gate, returning once more to Academy City. As planned, Misaka Mikoto was supposed to take them on a tour, but...

”Uh... those weapons of yours... could you find a place to put them down?”

Looking at the Longsword hanging by Ais’s waist, and the Magic Wand in the hands of the Priestess of the Goddess and Megumin, Misaka Mikoto proposed with a bit of a headache.

”This country has laws prohibiting ordinary people from carrying weapons; if you walk around on the streets with weapons, it’ll likely cause trouble.”

”Huh? Not allowed to carry weapons?”

Upon hearing Misaka Mikoto’s introduction, everyone was taken aback.

”Then what about when encountering creatures? If goblins attack...?”

”Creatures? No, no, no, there are no creatures in this world!”

Misaka Mikoto hurriedly waved her hand.

”There’s no goblins or Giant Dragons or anything, don’t worry!”

”I see...”

Upon hearing Misaka Mikoto’s speech, everyone nodded in agreement and obediently handed their weapons over to Rem for safekeeping.

Upon seeing this scene, Misaka Mikoto also breathed a sigh of relief.

But soon, she realized that she had been too naive.

”Wow... so many tall buildings...”

”Look, look, Ais, how tall is that building? How many people can live inside?”

”This iron box running on the road must be the automobile that Mr. Fang Zheng mentioned... Indeed, it runs by itself without animals pulling it, how interesting...”

For Emilia and the others, it was just like a trip to Another World, seeing it with great interest. But for Misaka Mikoto, the situation was different.

Previously, she hadn’t noticed; it wasn’t until Emilia and the others walked onto the streets that Misaka Mikoto realized a problem.

That is... they stood out too much!

Emilia, Ais, Megumin, the Priestess of the Goddess were all beautiful young girls, and their clothes had a distinctly Another World vibe. Previously, she hadn’t noticed, but compared to the people in Academy City, the issue immediately became apparent. In fact, ever since leaving the research facility, countless people had been turning their heads to cast curious glances at this group of girls, and even a few less scrupulous Group of Non-Ability Users thugs had started following the girls, seemingly with no clear intention.

All in all, given this situation...

It’s best to let them change clothes first.

Thinking of this, Misaka Mikoto looked at the card in her hand.

Since Fang Zheng said the research facility would reimburse, then... should she not hesitate?

It’s proven that women, no matter which world they are from, are the same when it comes to shopping, buying clothes, and window shopping.

”Wow, Emilia, your outfit is so beautiful.”

At the compliment from her peers, Emilia couldn’t help but blush a little; she was wearing a pure white one-piece dress at the moment. Although it wasn’t particularly luxurious, it perfectly accentuated the slender, graceful figure of the young girl, and paired with a sun hat, it gave off a ’summer girl’ sense of purity.

”Oh, it’s nothing, your outfit looks great too... What about Felt?”

”I prefer this. Compared to those lightweight dresses, I feel more comfortable this way.”

Unlike the others, Felt opted for a short-sleeve shirt and shorts, paired with black knee-high socks and athletic boots, clearly favoring outfits that allowed for more freedom and agility.

The Priestess of the Goddess chose, upon the recommendation of the shop assistant, a short-sleeve top paired with a long skirt and a shawl, which appeared modest and reserved, yet perfectly highlighted the Priestess’s cuteness.

Ais seemed not particularly interested in these outfits, but still, she changed into a fashion-forward ensemble of a long-sleeve shirt and a mini skirt, giving off a vibe of a trendsetting contemporary woman.

As for Megumin...

”Hehehe... I can sense the magic power contained within this deep darkness...”

Looking at the gothic dress adorned with black lace she was wearing, Megumin let out a low chuckle. She reached out one hand to press the eye patch over her right eye while her left hand held onto her body.

”This dress, this dress is most suited for me, the strongest magical formal wear of Megumin, the Great Mage from the Red Demon Clan! Look at this sacred ripple, the gorgeous threads, the fabric infused with the aura of darkness...!!”

If Fang Zheng were here, he would definitely see that the current Megumin is just a second Black Cat.

And far more dangerous than Black Cat.
