Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

In the end, Arestar chickened out.

He couldn’t afford not to; his biggest trump card was vanquished by just a glance from Fang Zheng, almost sending him back home to get married. In this situation, Arestar had no confidence to oppose Fang Zheng. He finally understood why Fang Zheng could swagger around in his Academy City, doing whatever he pleased without ever worrying about being discovered.

After all, to Fang Zheng, Arestar was just a little brother.

Deciding when to deal with him was merely a matter of turning a thought for Fang Zheng.

But Arestar still couldn’t figure out why that person looked at him so unfavorably.

Of course, he was clueless; Fang Zheng never intended for Arestar to understand.

In fact, after such a long investigation, Fang Zheng had already grasped the essence of the superpower development in Academy City—it was based on the theory of the Order Race.

Just like long ago when the Goddess of Order told Fang Zheng that the Order Clan used the method of ”fixing” the world within the Order’s domain to eradicate Chaos variables in order to ”ensure” the entire world belonged entirely to the Order. The problem is, Chaos variables can’t be eliminated, hence the eventual rise of the Chaos Wave.

In Academy City, extending ”personal reality” to cover the world and generate superpowers is actually a crude simplification of the Order Clan’s method. After all, they are mere mortals and expecting them to possess the divine power of the Order Clan is clearly impossible, so they can only achieve this step.

But to Fang Zheng, this is extremely dangerous, okay!

The Order Clan used the Order to forcibly observe and regulate the world, causing a Chaos Wave that led to everyone’s demise. And here you want to do it again?

Can’t you see I’m already troubled enough?

This is why Fang Zheng is particularly wary of Arestar turning the scientific camp into a kind of faith.

As for those Angels and Demon Gods, Fang Zheng is hardly concerned by them. No matter how strong their abilities, they are only strong here, like NPCs with levels set in a game. They might be invincible to players but to the system, they’re just a click away.

Who knows, by the next update, they could go from indomitable to reviled.

This is exactly why Fang Zheng just glanced at Aiwass and sent him flying. From the Goddess of Order, Fang Zheng already learned that the Angels and Demons of this world are essentially leftovers from the experiments by the Goddess of Order. Just like Fang Zheng saw before, this planet, before it exploded, was originally used by the Goddess of Order as a testing field for her final refuge, and those Angels and Demons were the artificial intelligence she simulated to perfect its operation.

And Fang Zheng, right now, is carrying the Order Seal, legitimately part of the Order Clan. In terms of authority, the difference between him and them is vast.

Simply put, an angel like Aiwass is just an artificial intelligence created by the Goddess of Order in the game. After she retired, Fang Zheng took over her work. To him, Aiwass remains—just an artificial intelligence.

You dare come out looking for trouble? I can delete you in minutes, believe it or not!

As for the ”Book of Law” that Arestar heard from Aiwass and wrote down, fundamentally, it’s just some background data when the Goddess of Order created this world.

Strictly speaking, it is essentially console code. Knowing these codes, you can open the console with ”~” then input some commands to modify things. Like player.additem 000000f[insert number here] or addmoney(999999), for example.

But you want to change the game itself? Keep dreaming.

After all, dreams have everything.

Since Arestar accepted defeat, Fang Zheng decided not to bother him for the time being. He understood Arestar’s mindset, even though their ideas differed and couldn’t gel, surviving efforts are better than futile death. Moreover, Fang Zheng is inherently in Academy City, a stronger ultimate ace than Aiwass, so if the Magic Side dares to cause trouble, they’ll definitely give up entirely.

Not to mention Aiwass is a shut-in like a sheltered young lady, while Fang Zheng is wandering around Academy City every day.

Fang Zheng also didn’t plan to kill Arestar now. Indeed, with his power, crushing Arestar is no harder than squashing an ant. But if Arestar dies, Fang Zheng would have to handle many things personally, and that’s a headache. So Fang Zheng assigned Arestar a task—to deal with all those shady things in Academy City like the Coordinating Council and the Dark Side within the shortest time.

Against this, Arestar could only agree, though he knows such a task is akin to the emperor ordering a minister to prepare for a transition, and then head to the vegetable market outside the Meridian Gate for execution.

But he had to obey!

After all, following orders means execution; defying orders? That leads straight to a mass execution along with torture.

Humming a tune and singing, Fang Zheng drove back to the research institute. Regarding how to clean up that building, Arestar can figure it out himself—who told him not to install a big door?

However, when Fang Zheng drove back to the research institute, the first thing he saw was Mikoto Misaka dozing off on the chair in the hall.

”Why aren’t you sleeping? It’s already three o’clock, right?”

Looking at Mikoto Misaka, Fang Zheng was slightly puzzled, and upon hearing his voice, Mikoto Misaka abruptly woke up from nodding off and quickly stood up to run over to him.

”Mr. Fang Zheng, how is it?”

”Settled, starting tomorrow your sisters will be transported to the research institute in batches.”

Over ten thousand people is no small number, even Arestar has to exert effort—that’s why Fang Zheng went directly to Arestar; he wasn’t about to waste his own time.

Wasting others’ time is evidently a better choice.

”Phew.......”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Mikoto Misaka finally let out a breath of relief, then she thought of something.

”Um, Mr. Fang Zheng, how did you..... that......”

”Oh, I found the Chairman of Academy City and told him if he didn’t follow my directions, I’d kill him; he had no choice but to obey.”

”Uh.......”

Upon hearing this, Mikoto Misaka was completely speechless. She had considered many possibilities earlier, but never thought of this. After all, generally people do think of reaching out to family elders, company managers, or the police during issues, but hardly think of finding the city mayor to resolve the problem........

And even through threats........

”Is it really okay?”

”No problem, no problem, don’t worry. If there’s a problem, then it’s Arestar’s problem.”

Fang Zheng patted Misaka Mikoto on the head.

”Alright, go to sleep. Where’s your sister?”

”She... went to rest.”

Speaking of this, Misaka Mikoto was speechless. She was anxious here, but Little Misaka seemed completely at ease, just arrived and went to sleep. Clearly, she was the one who almost died in the battle earlier, yet she seemed calmer than Misaka Mikoto.

”You should wash up and sleep too. Look at you, all messy. If Kuroko sees you, she’ll start talking again.”

”Hmm...”

After all, Misaka Mikoto is still a child. Hearing that the matter is resolved, she feels relieved, nods and turns to leave, while Fang Zheng yawns and goes back to his room to sleep.

The next thing Fang Zheng does after waking up is to open the Teleportation Gate and return to Lina Inverse’s world.

”Master, are you saying... over ten thousand people are coming here?”

Kiare, summoned by Fang Zheng, was completely stunned hearing his words. Meiyin spends most of her time in her own world, although she returns for her paper-making work, she’s evidently more at ease with her parents.

Therefore, matters here have been left to Kiare to handle.

”Can’t handle it?”

”Yeah, we can only accommodate at most a thousand people here...”

Fang Zheng’s castle is built to Five-Star Hotel standards, but originally it wasn’t very large, even after renovations, it can at most accommodate a thousand people. Before, the castle was somewhat deserted with few residents. But suddenly having over ten thousand people... would definitely be too much!

”No worries. Anyway, I’m just informing you, they won’t be staying here. However, inform the others to give them a heads up. As for the details, I’ll call everyone together and explain.”

Indeed, Fang Zheng wasn’t planning to leave those ten thousand Little Misakas in the world of Academy City. He knows the Misaka Network ignores distance. In the original work, Arestar’s plan was to spread the Misaka Network worldwide under the guise of distributing Little Misakas worldwide after a plan failure.

But this time, Fang Zheng surely won’t give him that chance.

I’m going to send these over ten thousand people to another world. Let’s see how Arestar can handle that?

”Yes, master, I understand.”

Kiare responded respectfully without saying much. She knew Fang Zheng could travel to other worlds—but for Kiare, this was no big deal.

But for Misaka Mikoto, it mattered a lot.

”How are you going to accommodate those kids!”

Soon after Fang Zheng returned to Academy City, Misaka Mikoto came to him.

She had slept soundly after feeling relieved yesterday, but waking up, Misaka Mikoto realized the situation wasn’t so simple.

First, according to her sister, there are over ten thousand clones. A research facility certainly can’t house them all. Plus, they need food and water, which costs money. Where does that money come from? Misaka Mikoto is a Young Lady, but even she wouldn’t dare say she could take care of over ten thousand people’s needs.

Moreover, where exactly would these over ten thousand people be housed? If they stay here, they’ll quickly be discovered, then what?

Although Misaka Mikoto is just a 14-year-old girl, she knows these problems aren’t easily solved. Though Mr. Fang Zheng seems highly capable, Misaka Mikoto isn’t sure just how far his abilities can solve it all.

However, facing Misaka Mikoto’s questions, Fang Zheng coldly chuckled, crossing his hands under his chin.

”Do you really want to know?”

”......?”

”It’s really dark, you know? Can you take it?”

”What... what are you planning for those kids?”

At this, Misaka Mikoto broke out in a cold sweat, while Fang Zheng gave a chilling laugh.

”What else? They’re clones of the LV5 Railgun. In terms of figure, face, and looks, they’re identical, so I’m planning to establish an AKB10086 idol group here! All the Little Misakas will wear swimsuits to hand out flyers, wear sailor suits to perform songs and dances on stage, and wear bikinis for handshake events...”

”Waaa!!!”

Before Fang Zheng finished, Misaka Mikoto interrupted him, her face flushed, wildly waving her hands.

”Mr. Fang Zheng! You’re being too much! You wouldn’t really do that!!”

”Just kidding, just kidding.”

Fang Zheng chuckled.

”Don’t worry, I’ve been prepared for this. Yeah, if you want an answer, it’s simple—I plan to send them to another world.”

”Another world?”

Upon hearing this, Misaka Mikoto was completely dumbfounded.
