From Arsenal to the Ball God

After hanging in the air for a fraction of a second, the football soared in front of Ma’el’s forehead. He tucked in his chest and tightened his abs, bursting with power once again from mid-air, and forcefully headed the ball towards the goal.

”Whoosh!” The football smashed straight into the net on Joe Hart’s right side like a cannonball, as he remained motionless, just like his trusty defender, Kompany.

”Wow.....!!”

”Aaahhh.....!!”

”Ma’el!!”

”Bomber!”

”King!!”

”Beautiful! Beautiful!!”

As the earth-shattering cheers erupted at the Emirates Stadium, Kompany, Joe Hart, and others stood dumbfounded, hands on hips, staring at Ma’el’s back.

Even the returning Yaya Toure and Nasri displayed signs of shock. Being professional players, they knew all too well what it meant to leap to such a height and head a ball like that.

There are no more than five players in the world who can produce such a header!

In today’s championship match, Ma’el audaciously opened the scoring in such a fierce manner!

You can imagine the immense inspiration Arsenal players would receive, and the spirit of battle they would possess.

Not just them, even those in the penalty area like Van Persie and Arteta also opened their mouths and marveled before turning towards Ma’el.

”Yeahhh...!!”

Upon landing, Ma’el spread his arms wide and charged toward the corner flag area on the left side of the pitch, his face full of wild joy, his blood boiling, unable to stop his upper body’s tremors.

He kept shouting until he was out of breath, taking a sharp breath of fresh air before pounding his chest and shouting again, ”Come on...!! Come on...!!”

One to zero!

Leading first!

Closer to the championship!

This time, he couldn’t even manage a stylish move first, as dopamine and endorphins filled his brain, making him uncontrollably want to vent.

He slid passionately across the grass on his knees, made a bow and arrow motion with his hands, leaving a beaming face for the cameras, ”Boom...!”

Upon rising, he turned and hugged the oncoming Van Persie and Walcott.

”Well done!” Van Persie wrapped an arm around Ma’el’s head, ”They’re not your match! You struck fear in them!”

”39 goals now.”

Walcott high-fived him, exclaiming, ”Go for 40! If you accomplish this goal, we’ll definitely win the championship!”

”Collect 40 pieces for a championship trophy exchange?” Arteta joined in, joking with a smile.

The group then turned towards the stands, raising their hands in unison with the fans, shouting, ”Champions...! Champions...!”

As they finished celebrating and turned away, Ma’el’s celebration was not over. Calmer now, he was able to perform the celebration move he had planned pre-game.

He pulled out the corner flag, pressing the flag-end under his armpit like a sniper rifle, aiming toward a section in Area A.

”Boom...!”

He fired a smiling shot; this sniper celebration was a move he borrowed from Neymar.

Being a seasoned CSGO player, Neymar often performed in-game related celebration moves for a bit of dream collaboration.

Currently, he might not play games as much, so this classic celebration move would become Ma’el’s.

”Farewell, young archer! Fearless of time and wind!!”

In the broadcasting booth, Zhan Jun’s hoarse yet passionate voice rang out: ”Leon Maerel, this player filled with passion and courage! He opened the score for Arsenal in the championship match!

”This is his 39th goal in his first Premier League season! Creating goal numbers, he’s really closing in on 60+!

”One to zero lead! Will this goal help Arsenal lift the championship trophy tonight?! Let’s wait and see!”

He intended to stop there, but couldn’t help continue to shout upon hearing the waves of cheers within the stadium: ”The Arsenal fans attending today’s match are blessed! They’ve entered a state of joy early on! Watching the rest of the match with high hopes!

”The broadcast pans to them, showing us the crowded fan stands! Many fans are about to cry, having to suppress their emotions with deep breaths.

”Ah... there’s Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, clapping their hands to celebrate this goal!

”What’s Prince Charles saying? I bet it’s something about Ma’el! He made himself exceptionally dazzling right from the start today!

”Tom Brady is also clapping, I wonder how Ma’el’s explosive physicality stacks up against a football player?

”The lens turns to Mendes, with a beautiful woman holding a child celebrating beside him — possibly the long-rumored girlfriend of Ma’el.”

”Hehe...” Zhang Lu jokingly quipped, ”Is that Ma’el’s child?”

”Haha.....! ’Probably’ not! If that were his child, then that’s not good!”

...

”He drives a Bugatti on the sidelines! Performs a swan dance on the defensive line...!”

After the reboot, Arsenal’s fans began chanting the ’Song of Ma’el’, making Manchester City players eager to counterattack feel flustered, frequently making passing errors and failing to produce threats.

This left Mancini feeling helpless, as he came today with the intent to win.

The Italians turned towards the stands decked in red and white, arms crossed and eyes filled with melancholy, seemingly feeling that the situation had slipped away.

Arsenal originally had more fighting spirit than them, and their fans today would greatly support them... In this situation, letting the opponent score first, it’s hard to catch up.
