From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Sometimes I wonder, what if you really master the Fancy Techniques? What kind of player would emerge in European Football... haha.”

”Come on, let’s do another one!”

He tossed a hand-thrown ball, then watched as Ma’el glanced back, headed the ball, and drove it into the goal’s corner with incredible force and precision.

Jose was about to pick up the ball to continue, but he noticed that Ma’el suddenly stopped, tied his shoelaces, and sat down on the ground.

”Alright, let’s take a break.”

Ma’el waved his hand at him, pretending to be exhausted and in need of a breather. After sitting for a while, he even lay on the ground.

Seeing Jose hadn’t come over, he revealed a contented smile, turning his head side to side, feeling the completely different sensations between his head and neck.

His Header skills had just upgraded from Level 3 to Level 4!

All-rounder, it’s really coming!

[Skill: High-altitude Bombing Level 4]

[Utility: After mastering how to judge the landing point and exerting your power, you start trying to improve the precision of your headers, using slight adjustments in header angles and directions to change the ball’s path, finally getting close to perfection! Equipped with high-altitude bombing ability!]

What the skill panel mentions is just his improvement in header precision, but his own feelings go beyond this.

He could clearly feel that his ability to judge landing points, and the method and technique of exerting power in headers, have improved significantly.

So... the single characteristic described in the skill panel’s every upgrade is actually too generic.

It still enhances other minor skills practiced before, allowing these items to have the power of skill level, reaching balance!

Previously, Ma’el didn’t feel it strongly, perhaps because the improvement in legs and body wasn’t as sensitive as the head and neck, and he didn’t pay attention later.

”Looking at it this way, Level 5 might be unimaginably strong.”

Ma’el’s mind became clearer about the standards of Level 5 skills, his eyes filled with anticipation.

By then, it would certainly be an all-round evolution from top-notch to perfect!

Level 5 will enhance all abilities in his single skill item, not just a simple evolution... it would even fix some minor weaknesses and flaws in that ability, really reaching the pinnacle!

”No wonder it’s hard to train.” He secretly sighed, but he wasn’t discouraged, as long as he keeps improving.

He opened the Skill Level panel to check other skills’ progress, and this time he also checked the ’Decision’ ability with auto-increasing Skill Level.

[Skill: Rapid Charge Level 4]

[Skill Level: (764/5000)]

[Skill: Divine Power Level 4]

[Skill Level: (291/5000)]

[Skill: Decision Level 4]

[Skill Level: (1442/5000)]

[Skill: Violent Bombing Level 4]

[Skill Level: (1153/2000)]

[Skill: Fancy Breakthrough Level 3]

[Skill Level: (473/2000)]

[Additional Skills: Fancy Techniques Level 1]

[Skill Level: (1072/1500)]

”Decision has exceeded a thousand?”

Ma’el hadn’t paid attention to this skill for a long time; he didn’t expect to be quite delighted when he checked it.

This counts as his fastest-progressing skill among the Level 4 skills with a basic Skill Level of 5000. There’s a possibility that it could breakthrough to Level 5 earlier than Rapid Charge and Divine Power!

This ability is still very important; it significantly boosts his match performance... It can be classified under Soccer Intelligence.

This season, he has often used Soccer Intelligence + specialized strong skills to score, and he can even say that every goal has the blessing of Soccer Intelligence.

Without it, there wouldn’t be 34 goals in the Premier League, 7 goals in the Champions League, and 8 goals in the English League Cup!

Once it breaks through, his efficiency will surely have a comprehensive boost again!

”Fancy Techniques might still fall short this month...” He started calculating the level-up speeds of other abilities, ”However, after the season ends, focus on enhancing Violent Bombing, the first Level 5 skill will definitely make an appearance at the European Cup!”

Thinking of this, he became even more excited about the European Cup after this season ends.

This is his first continental-level tournament; he’s really uncertain how far he can go with his current abilities paired with Deschamps’ France team.

In conclusion, if he becomes a super star by the end of this season, he believes he can certainly become an internationally influential mega-star on the European Cup stage!

Continue to move forward, hope everything goes well, and also hope for fewer setbacks in the process!
