From Arsenal to the Ball God

At the moment of the goal, Ma’el’s heart was filled with the joy of the clean sound when the ball hit the net, a comfort so intense it was almost like dying and going to heaven... This sensation spread throughout his body, making his blood boil.

Unfortunately, to avoid disappointing the fans of his old club, he could only hastily retract the fist he intended to raise to the sky, clasping his hands in front and adopting an apologetic posture.

Luckily, the hands-pointing-to-the-sky celebration itself was already considered relatively restrained; Ma’el usually likes to strike a handsome pose first and then do two releasing moves.

If he had slid on his knees straight away, and earned the title of sliding-knee against his old club, he would have gotten blasted.

Perhaps this doesn’t matter, but the main thing is he would make the Sheffield United fans who once adored him feel disappointed.

”Oh wow...!” Van Persie and others rushed up, jumped onto Ma’el’s back, and excitedly punched towards the stands where the fans were.

As for the Sheffield United players behind them, they collapsed on their knees where they stood, unable to accept the fact that they were scored on in the last moments after working hard the entire game.

”It’s in again!! Ma’el’s 31st Premier League goal! This is a decisive victory!”

In the broadcast room, Zhan Jun organized his thoughts, roaring: ”A celestial miracle...!! This ball is just like that classic shot by his predecessor Zidane and possibly even more difficult!

”After this goal, he has become the player with the third-highest number of single-season goals in Premier League history, second only to Alan Shearer and Andy Cole!

”Tied with him are Alan Shearer from the 93-94 season and Ronaldo from the 06-07 season — both scored 31 goals in their respective seasons!

”Yes, there is no mistake here; Alan Shearer occupies 2 of the top 5 spots due to his high-level performances over consecutive seasons!

”But we believe that since Ma’el reached this position in his debut season, he is very likely to occupy 2 of the top 5 spots next year and push Alan Shearer’s 31-goal season out.

”Now, if he scores just one more goal, Ma’el will solely occupy the third spot in the Premier League’s single-season goal list!

”And he is very likely to achieve an incredible accomplishment: breaking the single-season goal record and claiming the number one spot in his debut season!”

The camera then turned to Wenger, who was kneeling on the sideline at the coach’s spot, his hands continuously shaking — one could tell how excited he was just by his mouth shape and facial expressions.

Soon, the camera zoomed, and Wenger suddenly blurred into the foreground while Garrispeed became the focal point in the long shot.

His hands were stuffed in pockets, also kneeling on the sideline, but obviously, their emotions represented two completely opposite extremes.

”They fell to their knees! Ma’el’s miracle ball had both the current coach Wenger and the former coach Garrispeed fall to their knees where they stood — another classic photo for the Premier League this season!” — Football Record

”Decisive victory! Ma’el has moved to a tie for third on the Premier League’s all-time scorer list! Incredible Aix Demon King, incredible Ma’el moment!” — The Guardian

”24 wins and 5 draws! After 21 rounds, Arsenal’s points remain the highest at this point in Premier League history! They are moving towards breaking the record after 30 rounds!” — Data Statistics Record
