From Arsenal to the Ball God

This evening, the third episode of the program about ’Arsenal Club’ and ’Ma’el’ on ”Football Record” airs.

After the first two episodes were broadcast, the subscription numbers for the two columns reached 94,000 and 59,000, respectively.

This is a very reasonable gap, as Arsenal Club’s program has loyal fans supporting it, and it is relatively exciting and diverse, naturally attracting more users.

Ma’el’s life and training records, along with monthly summary reviews, having nearly 60,000 viewers is already quite good.

”Mrs. Smith, everyone can call me that.”

In this Arsenal Club column episode, the club shareholder Mrs. Smith appeared as a guest and had an interview with Amelia in the studio.

The theme of this episode is—Arsenal’s Path to Revival!

”These days, the outside world has been discussing that the Premier League champion will be decided this month, what does Mrs. Smith think?”

Amelia confidently held the script and smiled as she asked: ”Because we know at the end of this month, Manchester City will host Manchester United for a derby battle.

”Immediately after this match, Arsenal will face Manchester City at home.”

She intertwines her hands, ”Consecutive battles for 6 points indeed might very likely decide the championship, especially if there is a draw between the two teams, the other team will certainly benefit.”

Behind them, on the big screen, the schedule for Arsenal and Manchester’s Twin Heroes for this month was displayed.

Arsenal has played one more round, and this month they have 5 matches.

These are April 8 away at Wolves, April 12 home against Wigan Athletic, April 17 away at Stoke City, April 21 home against Chelsea, April 28 home against Manchester City.

While Manchester City and Manchester United have played one less round, both teams have 6 matches this month.

For Manchester City, they will play April 4 away at West Brom, April 9 home against Norwich, April 13 home against Stoke City, April 18 away at Wolves, April 22 home against Manchester United, April 28 away at Arsenal.

For Manchester United, April 4 away at Blackburn, April 9 home against Sheffield United, April 13 away at Aston Villa, April 18 home against Wigan Athletic, April 22 away at Manchester City, April 28 home against Everton.

”Yes.”

Mrs. Smith, looking like a delicate old lady, exudes a vitality different from her age, ”Do you hope for a draw in the Manchester Derby, and then Arsenal to gain a 2-point advantage?

”Honestly, I’ve also thought about it. A draw is the best result for Arsenal, and I’ll definitely be praying for it.”

”Haha.....” The two laughed together, and the program atmosphere became much more congenial.

”Let me talk about my view on the title race, I have to explain it first.”

Mrs. Smith gleamed with her eyes and laughed, ”Although I am very old, and there are gender stereotypes..... but I understand football fairly well, and I’ve supported Arsenal for fifty years.”

She turned her head to the fixture list, pointed to it, and said: ”Actually, I think, same as before, performances against mid- to lower-tier teams will decide the final title outcome.

”We see, all three title-contending teams meet a lot of relegation-threatened clubs this month, including Stoke City, Wigan Athletic, Wolves, etc.

”They are very difficult to deal with, at this stage, their competitiveness is no less than the title-seeking teams.”

”It’s easy to understand, if the top three teams on the table are fighting for the title, then the teams possibly sagging into the bottom three are fighting for survival.

”One is in attack, the other is desperate, so naturally, it’s different, this kind of will might help them close personal ability gaps.”

Mrs. Smith adjusted her position backward and concluded: ”Whoever can not drop points or drop fewer points against them is more likely to win the games.

”In this regard, I have faith in Arsenal because we haven’t lost this season.”

Amelia nodded and then signaled to the director, asking him to play a compilation of highlights from these three title-contending teams, allowing the audience to relax their minds.

Soon, Ma’el’s celebration actions appeared with his arms wrapped around himself, followed by his somersault celebration, slide-kneel celebration, ghost dance celebration, etc., naturally they have to first showcase the boss’s stylish video.

To balance, after playing 30 seconds of such videos, they added 10 seconds of highlights featuring Aguero and Rooney.

After these, the scenes of every match from the season start to now of the three teams appeared on the screen, with each match having approximately 2-3 seconds of footage.

On one side of the screen, there was a scrolling league table continuously playing the rankings after each round, showing the changes in the top spot.

People saw Manchester City leading the standings from the beginning, Manchester United later overtaking, then Arsenal catching up and remaining fixed as the leaders.

”Alright.” After the footage ended, Amelia resumed the rhythm and asked with a smile: ”I believe everyone’s desire for the final champion has reached a peak, we don’t need to elaborate further on this, let’s leave it to the teams and the players.

”Since the theme of this episode is the path to revival, I would like to ask Mrs. Smith, will there be any changes at the club this season?”

Mrs. Smith nodded, after considering for a while, she revealed some bombshell news, ”There are many changes, let me mention one that I’m involved with; Arsenal might complete its equity structure change by the season’s end.

”There is a possibility that someone might fully acquire the team, and by then, the club’s financial situation might improve, possibly reaching the top level of the Premier League.”
